So, here's a question that's likely been answered. But I'm curious. Has anyone ever thought to combine roleplays (private or otherwise) with the dice-rolling fun of Dungeons and Dragons? I have, and I have no idea how to go about it. The idea just kinda popped into my head. I'm picturing someone DMing a session of Dungeons and Dragons, but not at a table. ED seems to believe in creative freedom for your writing, and that includes getting to write your sex scenes no matter how kinky and weird they are... so long as they don't violate the ToS or law, which is fair! Unfortunately, any site that allows freedom of sexual content attracts the t r u e c r e e p as well. We all eventually figure out how to spot those people of course, but many roleplayers (especially new ones) can still ACCIDENTALLY come off as a creep in their interest checks, partner requests, E-texts, and even in casual out of character conversations. Hey guys, I'm new to the site but not new to roleplay to say the least, but there have always been a couple of stories I'd love to play and this site seems to be a great place to start. My first idea is based on a wonderful comic I read years ago, with the premise being that of a very high-end brothel. I threw a status post on my wall about running a Play-by-Post game here and it seemed to have generated a little interest. I'd like to expand that discussion to a broader audience and perhaps find a few people interested in participating - if only in this, as yet, theoretical, discussion. Just thought about it while writing a review, while this is aimed at playing submissive characters I have the impression that it benefits my overall play too. They realy are applicable to all kinds or roleplay. Be advised: Some examples are definitely not safe for work: Me and plenty of other players love playing submissive characters that get dominated, this often comes with its own set of challenges. Okay, so I have something to tell in regards of how I do my RP and I want to question that, have you guys ever been in my position before. Let's say, I was RPing with someone, and it seems, both of us like the idea that I pitch for our RP. When I first came to ED I was surprised how free one's ways of expressing their preferences were. See, my old site didn't allow loli roleplays of any kind. Hello, I’m new to this place. I found it while looking for someplace to spend some of my free time. Since a few days ago, I've told myself that it's time to 100% stop roleplaying and even writing altogether. It's a long story, but... I just feel like the time has come to leave this old hobby of mine because it doesn't really bring me any pleasure. Only frustration. Hey there! Sierra here, I've been going through a long process of rewriting a campaign for Dungeons and Dragons and I've been stuck on making a real villain. Rejection anxiety has always been a problem for me IRL, and I’m sure many people here can relate. But… even though i’m completely anonymous on here, and I don’t really have any reason to be anxious - I still very much am. Could it be that I’m just insecure of my own writing? So, as you might have read on the title I was thinking about creating a club focused on fighting creatures, it can be monsters, bandits, demons, angels, yadda yadda yadda. While I don't have a solid idea about the world yet, I was thinking on the RP happening in Diablo-like world, with humanity striving to survive after being caught in a war between demons and angels, it wouldn't necessarily be apocalyptic, but it wouldn't be a paradise either. Hey anyone who happens to come across this post I would love any input or ideas. I have been wanting to start a club that is sort of just a mundane high school homeroom, and members create charachters who make friends with one another! I was just wondering how people tend to go about this, do most people just use the honour system? Is there something you can connect direct to a post to make it happen? Does the GM roll the dice? Use an app, send screen shots? I'm sure the answer to all of these is yes, to some extent or another. Just looking to see what people have tried and how they've found it.
