The Gate

You find yourself before a large metallic gate which stands on the border of the city of Gateport. On each side, there a towers, made up of whatever metal the residents of the city were able to find, guarded by Brotherhood of Steel Knights. If one isn't careful, one might also notice several turrets pointed right at them. One of the Knights asks you what your business is, whether entering or leaving the city, and once you answer, and he finds the answer satisfactory, the gate opens. From here, you can see the bridge which goes over the irradiated waters and connects the island that Gateport sits on with the mainland of the Texas Commonwealth.
