Elves are the Best Toys {Kalvoras Vertal x PinkKitten}

Meira shrinks back slightly and shuts her eyes when he moves closer to her, frightened by such close proximity until she feels his lips on here forehead. She stares up at him with wide eyes, bewildered to the point that she almost loses balance straightaway when he sets her down.

She watches curiously as he opens a portal and retrieves clothing, which she clutches at as soon as he holds them out towards her. She instinctively turns away from him when she dresses herself, unsure if the lack of bra and panties is deliberate or merely an oversight. Nevertheless, she smooths out the clothes, grateful to have them although they're really not the type of clothes she'd normally choose for herself. Nor does it feel quite the right size, but given the fact that there isn't an alternative, Meira decides to try her best to make it work as she turns back to him.

The elf girl flinches again at her master's next words, alarmed by the fact that he could tell what she was thinking. Her new life with no privacy is certainly one that would require adjusting. She looks up at him doubtfully, wondering if he's joking by asking if she wants to visit the moon. "You can't do that," she objects. "It's just...impossible."

Garuda gives a soft chuckle when she tells him that visiting the moon was impossible, still not knowing that they'd just barely scratched the surface of his abilities with their sessions earlier. He waits until she's completely dressed, finding that she looks a bit more attractive in luxury clothing instead of those seemingly uncomfortable clothes made to flaunt at how much more privileged they were.

"Anything's possible if you're not limited to the rules and physics of Earth, Meira~"

Garuda smiles and takes her hand, opening a portal and pulling her through it. A small bubble in the outline of her body covers her, trapping the oxygen around her as he pulls her onto the surface of the ball of space-dust orbiting the planet. He looks around and studies the footprints left on the surface from the boots of astronauts

“Hmm… These weren’t here the last time I was”

Meira pouts out of habit when Garuda chuckles at her.  Master or not, she still hadn't gotten used to the idea of anyone laughing at her.  She instinctively flinched when he took her by the hand, unable to shake off the apprehension that she felt when he touched her, but she was soon distracted by the thin film covering her body and the moon that seemed to solidify out of nowhere beneath her.  Although it was just barren whites and grays on one side and distant specks of light on the other for as far as the eye could see, there was still something about it that attracted her.  No money in the world could have bought her this sight.

The elf looked down at the footprints too, and couldn't help giggling at his lack of knowledge.  "You've been sawing logs for a long time," she tittered.  "That's so five decades ago.  I saw it on the TV."  Even though fifty years was a short time even her lifetime, it was still definitely old news and honestly, she enjoyed feeling superior even if it was something as small as this.

Garuda raises a brow while scowling a bit at her mentioning that the first landing on the moon was five decades ago and that she saw it on the television. But it wasn't that that was making him raise his brow. It was the phrase that she had used before that part of her dialogue. He places his hand on his chin in a fist in a thinking position, trying to figure out what it meant

"I'm afraid that I'm not quite familiar with that phrase... Would you care to explain its definition?"

Garuda picks up a large rock, brushing off the moon dust and breaking it in half to examine the insides of it while he waits for her to respond to him, and he uses his hard nail to carve a mark in the shape of a rose onto the surface of the hard mineral with seeming ease. He then stands the rock up on the broken surface before balancing the other half of it on top of it with the broken half of the second portion facing upwards

Meira was somehow simultaneously apprehensive and amused to see Garuda scowling. Although the dangers of the situation lurked in the back of her mind, it was funny to see how even he could be annoyed and puzzled by his inability to understand the words she had said. In Meira's mind, that knocked him down a few pegs on the scariness scale.

She watched as he carved a rose into the rock, though she didn't have much patience for it. After all, she wanted his focus to be on her, especially now that he was everything that she had. She lightly sidestepped in front of him, landing in his line of sight and staring up at him to demand his attention.

"A sound like sawing logs...snoring...sleeping," she said, waving her hand to emphasize the key points of her explanation. "Though, I bet you haven't watched TV, either."

Garuda turns his attention to Meira as she explains the phrase "sawing logs" to him. He nods and looks her up and down in her oxygen bubble, noting that she seems amused by his lack of knowledge. He shakes his head when she bets that he hadn't watched television before. Though he'd heard of it, it hadn't interested him much since he'd never understood sitting in front of a screen for amusement.

"I haven't. There's not much point in relying on watching someone else doing things for amusement when you can just do it yourself."

Garuda looks out at the stars before smirking down at Meira. He opens another portal before nudging her towards it, the scene of an extraterrestrial city through the circular rift in space.

"Come. There's a certain 'present' I want to give you."

Meira huffed, crossing her arms when he appeared completely disinterested in television. For her, it wasn't just about watching things she couldn't physically do, herself. There was also an element of enjoyment in knowing that she could do nothing and just watch television because she didn't need to do anything. It made her feel proud that she could afford to be so idle.

She tensed involuntarily when he smirked down at her, feeling instinctively distrustful on seeing such an expression on his face, but she reluctantly let herself be pushed towards the portal. Her hesitance seemed to leave somewhat when she caught a glance of the city, especially at the mention of a present. Even if she didn't feel at all comfortable with Garuda, she couldn't resist presents.

"Present? What kind of present?" Meira asked curiously, looking at once uneasy and excited.

"You'll find out after you've received it" Garuda smiles down at her before leading her through the portal, closing it behind them as they step into the city. The wind blows slowly as he pops the air bubble he'd created around Meira to expose her to the oxygen-rich environment. The city bustles with life forms from all different planets. One alien with a red tint in their skin smiles and waves towards Meira.

"Just a little further to go. Would you like me to carry you?"

Garuda glances down at her and shifts his weight to his left leg, sliding his hands into his pockets as he locks his gaze onto his white-haired companion. His smirk creeps back onto his face, despite his best attempts to keep it off of there.

Meira lets out an irritated sigh when her master remains vague about the nature of his present, but she only bits her lip and follows him.  She tenses involuntarily when he bursts the bubble and slowly takes a cautious breath, relieved to find that the air seems good here.  As they walk, she turns a shade paler when a reddish creature waves at her and she instinctively backs away, keeping Garuda in between them.  Even in a normal scenario, Meira would have been unlikely to wave or smile back at a stranger, and she was far less likely to when at such a jarringly unfamiliar place.

She looks up at him when he addresses her but she scowls and jumps back slightly, her arms crossing over herself defensively.

"I would most certainly not like you to carry me," Meira replies defiantly, though she immediately regrets her decision on account of the soreness in her bare feet.  However, she has no intention of backing down from her words and asking for any favors.

Garuda shrugs and simply begins to walk through the crowd, not stopping to wait for anyone to move and simply pushing his way past them with his elbows. He makes sure to use his telepathy to tap into what she's seeing and making sure that she's behind him as he makes his way through the crowd and making sure to be slow enough that she can remain right behind him

"Suit yourself. It's a bit of a walk"

Garuda chortles softly and continues walking straight ahead, occasionally waiting for her to catch up to him when he begins to walk faster than he'd meant to.

Meira opens her mouth to protest, but her pride is quite effective in keeping her words at bay, so she shrugs and follows him to the best of her ability, tiptoeing so as to put pressure on as little surface area of her feet as possible.  She does her best to keep as close to him as possible in spite of the crowd, but luckily he stands out easily so that she can catch up without much difficulty when he pauses for her.

Before long, the elf begins to feel tired of walking, and she pouts at Garuda's back as she waits for this little trip to end, especially since she's not relishing the feeling of dirt between her toes.  Nevertheless, she clenches her jaw and makes the best of the situation, willing grass to begin growing under her feet and she gradually walks normally again, the trail of grass in her wake padding the ground under her.

A bit pleased at her little accomplishment, she smirks and skips contentedly behind him, now taking more time to look around and enjoy their surroundings.

"Are we almost there yet?"

"Nearly."

Garuda can sense the content in her voice as he listens to her question, and the beings surrounding them watch in wonder as the little elf begins to make grass grow in the dirt under her feet without much issue. He gives a small smirk before reaching behind him with a telekinetic hand before using it to tickle her foot.

After a few more minutes of walking, they reach a rather tall building and Garuda stands in front of it before turning to Meira.

"We're here"

Meira walks along happily enough until she feels something she definitely didn't create tickling her foot, making her scream as she practically jumps onto Garuda's back.  She shivers and glares at the ground to try to see what touched her foot so unexpectedly.  After seeing nothing, she pushes back a few feet from Garuda and continues following him until they reach the building.

"What is this?" Meira demands as she looks up, squinting a little as she tries to see the top of the building.

Garuda does his best to hide his smile from the way she reacts when he tickles at her foot. His invisible arm retreats and he looks down at her before giving her a gentle pat and staring into her eyes with the straightest face he can manage

"What is it, Meira? And this is the surprise that I was referring to. It'll give you something you could use later."

Garuda smiles slyly before leading her inside and towards a counter

Meira blushes slightly when he pats her and she tilts her head quizzically, trying to reconcile his oddly gentle mood today with the horrible brute from the day before.  But now that there's nothing tickling her, she finds herself at a loss to describe what had caused her little scream.

"Hm...Nothing, I guess..." she murmurs, slowly shifting her weight from one foot to the other.  Something about Garuda's smile makes her unease return and she scowls a bit while still following him obediently.

"Y-You know, I'm sure I can do without whatever it is..."

Garuda conceals a slight smirk from the plaything that he'd obtained the night before, running a telekinetic limb across her back before urging her to follow him and an alien doctor through the halls of the building and into a room with a operating table in the middle

"I'm sure it'll be useful to you~ Considering, you're not on the very bottom of the totem pole~"

Garuda stands in the doorway and waits for her to enter, readying his telekinetic abilities to bring her in if she resists
