This day was proving to be just chalk full of surprises. TV Head had just finished having his fun with a new transfer to H.H. when he had caught wind of some chatter from a police station. By the time he had made his back towards the V.S. network the day was starting to shift into dusk. From high up in the skies of Texas, TV Head had a wonderful view of the towns and landscape that had been turned a golden orange from the setting sun. TV Head had been bouncing between radio stations and police chatter when he something from the woodlands of Texas caught his attention. "Jesus Christ, open fire, open fire!" And then the sound of gun registers across the radio as the shouting continued. "Garcia, get out of there! Oh God-! Precinct 6 is under attack, repeat under attack! It's a fuckin' mutan-!"  Then static.

TV Head came to an abrupt change of direction without any loss to his momentum, aiming straight for the source. The radio was cut short but it had lasted long enough for the villain to get an exact beat on its origin. It only took a handful of seconds for him to make it to the police station where the chatter had come from an it would be at least five minutes until back up arrived. But just to be sure, TV Head checked out the radio waves. From what he could hear they were definitely on their way, but they weren't getting a response from the station bellow. TV Head looked down at the rectangular building and sent some radio waves at it for a form of sonar. There only seemed to be one person moving in there, to no surprise, so that would make things simple. TV Head lowered himself down to the front door of the station before floating his way in through its glass doors. What TV Head saw not only impressed him but made his hand go for the hilt of his long odachi as well.

"Huh. These cops really know how to take decorating above an beyond these days, don't they." The villain said with a chuckle to himself.

Poor little Nilaa. She'd been minding her business, much as she tended to do, and had stumbled upon a food vendor. The smell of hot dogs had been too much for her to resist. By the time the police had arrived she'd already gorged herself upon the meaty delights! In fact she'd eaten so much that she'd ended up dozing off despite the yelling vendor. When she woke up she was within a prison cell. Of course she was a mutant, yes, but also she was young enough that she'd been tossed into her own cell for keeping.

Background checks were conducted. Nothing would be found. Nothing was ever found. Nothing led to a more thorough search and a confused precinct. That in turn led to a very hungry wolf. They fed her, yes, but not nearly enough! She'd grown agitated. Starving. She complained but they didn't listen. The scent of geese filled her nostrils. Feathers from her pillow. And cotton was technically a plant. Really anything was edible for Nilaa when she was hungry enough. Anything. And so she'd torn into the fluffy morsel, scattering delicate feathers about the cell.

At first the guard outside her cell had attempted yelling. Nilaa was too hungry to listen. He'd entered and tried to take the pillow from her. She wrestled with it, held it within her teeth until it tore in half and scattered the remaining feathers everywhere. The guard got mad and his yelling grew louder. Nilaa, already agitated with hunger, only grew angrier. Angrier and hungrier. And so she'd pounced at the man, tore into his throat with her teeth, and covered her naked body red with his blood. Not that it mattered much to her. People were meat. She loved meat.

By the time another guard arrived to answer the screams of the first Nilaa had already torn away all the flesh of one arm. The responding officer grew terrified, and rightfully so! He opened fire. Three slugs entered the wolf and dropped her to the ground. Then came the growling. She was angrier. Hungrier. Frenzied!

The station had been painted red with blood and entrails. Prison doors had been torn off their hinges as a frenzied Nilaa took to eating both police and prisoner alike! Torn clothes and equipment littered the halls, but Nilaa had been quite thorough. Corpses were dragged along and chomped upon during her search for more meat. As TV Head made his appearance Nilaa turned her attention towards him, eyes glowing red in a mixture of savage hunger and feral rage. Not that she had anything against him specifically, she simply couldn't tell friend from food in this state. Nobody had taught her how. Then again nobody as of yet could teach her how.

Bone crunched between razor sharp teeth as a bite was taken from a leg she'd been holding. Eyes stared unblinking towards the new arrival. Steam lifted from her body as some of the blood covering her was boiled off, specifically in places she'd been shot before, although by now the wounds had sealed themselves shut. For a moment she lowered the limb while she chewed, sniffing in the man's direction. Though she was covered in blood Nilaa's incredible sense of smell was still able to pick out many things about the arrival. For starters he smelled off. Some meat, certainly, but something else. Was he still edible? The meaty parts certainly were! Perhaps the rest given time. Regardless with another couple chomps she'd finished off the last of the corpses within the station. An arm wiped at her face, although it made no difference given the blood covering it.

Then came a low growl, folded back ears, and a puffed up tail. Claws emerged from furry fingers and toes, digging into the cement floor beneath her. She'd been frenzied for a few minutes now. Her strength was nothing to scoff at, although perhaps it might be for someone on TV Head's level. Regardless she managed to growl out the one greeting she could muster at this current moment.

"Food."

The scene in the police station was truly a spectacle to behold and TV Head was loving every bit of it. The box head rotated, scanning the station, taking in the scene. From the walls and ceilings painted with the cops blood to the entrails that had been scattered this every which way. Blood had been smeared across the floor from both ends of the building, one from the cells and the other from the offices, which guided TV Head's attention. His gaze followed the trails to a corner where he finally laid his sight on the culprit. A small, naked thing, with grey-blue fur that had been matted with blood. The villain tilted his head to one side as he gently settled his feet down onto to the messy floor. He bent his knees to squat down, bringing himself level with the little hound as he titled his head to the other shoulder.

He had scene similar mutation-type quirks before, although that sizzling was definitely new. TV Head's vision switched into the thermal spectrum, letting him get a better look at what was going on. It was probably for the best to analyze the situation with something that could probably sink its teeth into him with no problem. The only thing he could tell was the obvious though, that the heat radiating off of her was immense. TV Head reasoned this was an indication of built up energy, probably from her feeding, and that she would have plenty to spare if she lunged at him. This also meant that the heat would only help her in digging into him, so that should probably be avoided. But that's if she could hit him and, if she did, she probably wouldn't enjoy the taste of carbon-steel muscles and quicksilver blood.

TV Head kept one hand on the hilt of his blade while the other rested comfortably atop his thigh, danging his fingers between his legs. When she spoke, after whipping her face with more blood, TV Head felt a shiver go up his spine. Now this could be a real villain! A spine tingling sensation of excitement was always a good sign! TV Head had started to run his mouth but he still noticed Nilaa's nails digging into the cement underneath her. The popping cracks it made was a dead give away and was a loud and clear warning to TV Head of what was about to happen.

"Aaaahahaha, food? Aren't you the least bit full?" TV Head motioned with his free hand at the carnage Nilaa had wrought. "Don't get me wrong, I love what you've done with the place, I can see why you'd be hungry. But I am definitely not a happy meal." If this thing did lunge, it'd be easy for him to dodge. Moving for TV Head was as simple like being in the middle of a moving bubble. All he needed to do was reorient his field relative to the planets own field and he wouldn't even need to move a muscle. So, he sat their comfortably, just a few feet from the feasting pup. "This is pretty good damn work if I do say so myself! It's a little rough around the edges, but nothing the Villains Syndicate couldn't fix." TV Head nodded to himself and then motioned to the door with a thumb. "If you'd like, we could pack up some of these meat sacks as a to-go snack for the road. What do you say? Interested?"

Now this was an oddity. The new person hadn't tried screaming, or running, or shooting, or really doing anything to agitate the wolf. Nor was he cowering or begging. She smelled no signs of fear. He'd even lowered himself to her level! Perhaps if she were of sound mind this might have helped. Alas, she was not herself. In her frenzied state even friends would find a difficult time with her. He was simply a stranger. Simply food.

Switching to a thermal mode would paint Nilaa's body a brilliant white. Energy in the form of heat radiated off her, blurring her surroundings. At least she'd be very easy to detect like this. However all that energy had to go somewhere. The way her claws sunk into the concrete gave good indication as to where it might have been going. That and, of course, the wounds which now had been wiped away completely. Not even a scar was left behind. Still, something burning that much energy couldn't support itself forever. Especially not if she started attacking.

Which, unfortunately, she did.

TV Head's words were only jumbled within the frenzied wolf's mind. She couldn't understand him. Only hunger drove her. Hunger and rage. And so the concrete beneath her cracked outwards like shattered ice. Splinters shot up behind the wolf as she pushed herself forth in an assault. Through sheer strength she sent herself hurtling forwards at speeds no normal living being should be capable of. One palm aimed for the man's center of mass, hand open and claws presented like terrifying little daggers. Her intent was simple: smash into him and pin him back against a wall. If he couldn't move then she could feast, and if she ended up ripping off a limb like the others, well, it'd just be a snack!

Unfortunately for Nilaa in this state she was rather predictable. She was both frenzied and inexperienced which despite her power made her an easy enough fight for someone as skilled as TV Head. Even so, regardless of whether or not she managed to hit him her mouth shot forth, opened wide in an attempt to bite into what she perceived as being prey!

"O H !" TV Head exclaimed as his body rotated to the right at full speed. Watching him move like that was strange. It looked like he was standing on a rotating platform, as his body remained in the same crouched position that it had started in. But that was only if Nilaa could actually see that movement. For most people it would look as though TV Head was blinking from one place to another. Moving like that was muscle memory for TV Head but, even with those quick reflexes honed over the years, Nilaa still came too close to comfort. Her blade like hand shot past his gut, edging over his hoodies pockets and sending a wave of air rippling across his front. At this range the heat from Nilaa was nearly blinding but she was in his bubble now, which would only make reacting to her that much easier. "You're fast!" TV Head added as he pushed against his limbs with magnetic lanes.

TV Head a simple plan, get the two of them away from the police station. It would only be a matter of time until the police arrived and he'd rather be safe than sorry. If he could just get her out into the woods then they should be free of any intrusions. The magnetic lanes that aided his movement maintained his momentum as he swiveled around to Nilaa's flank. Without losing speed or force, TV Head's free hand snapped up from this thigh and grabbed Nilaa by the wrist that she had so carelessly put forward. TV Head continued to rotate himself around Nilaa, bringing himself within reaching distance of her ankles. The other hand was no longer on his hilt but was now shooting through the air to snatch Nilaa by her ankle. If he could just grab one leg an one arm then she wouldn't be able to counter immediately, not without twisting her body around to hit him. That would still be enough time for him to spin the two around and release. Although he didn't doubt her flexibility and most definitely not her speed, grabbing her like that would give him the time he needed to throw her out that front door, even if it was just a second. Maintaining his momentum was key for this. From there, it was just a matter of either hitting her far enough or baiting her. Both would work, but depended greatly on how she reacted.

Glowing red orbs managed to follow the villain's movements. Her body, however, was not quite quick enough to react. The sheer force of the impact created by her hand hitting the wall sent it detonating inwards and that, in turn, caused part of the precinct to collapse in on itself. Still, she had overextended her attack too much. For the much faster and much more experienced TV Head this left a sizable opening to take advantage of. And take advantage he did!

One hand latched onto her wrist. Within nearly the same moment one of her ankles were also snatched up. Both were covered with a dense layer of fur, now soaked red with blood. It actually provided her with quite a bit of protection as the flesh underneath was tougher than the rest, giving her two layers of protection. Not that she really needed it when she was frenzied for long enough. Given enough time even bullets would fail to penetrate her skin, let alone the thicker hide on her limbs.

As soon as she was grabbed the wolf reacted violently, clawing at the air around herself with her free hand and foot! After all both contained a set of razor sharp claws. A loud growl left her lips in between the snapping of teeth as she tried desperately to bite into the feisty prey. Even her large tail got in on the action, swatting around with as much strength as it could muster, although it wasn't quite as powerful as any of her limbs.

Despite her best efforts TV Head would manage to accomplish exactly what he was after. Spinning her around with enough speed made it quite difficult for her to actually swipe out at anything meaningful despite her best efforts! At this point he seemed to have full control over the feral girl.

TV Head noticed Nilaa's eyes tracking his movements, his head turning slightly to match her blood thirsty stare. The look in those eyes was so intense! Nothing but anger, hunger and instinct was there. It made TV Head wonder if this girl was always feral or if this was just her quirk in overdrive. If it was the latter. . .maybe that meant it wouldn't last long. With all the energy that was being poured out into her limbs, hands and body, that seemed likely. The explosive force of Nilaa's attack that wrecked the reinforced walls sent a shock wave of electrifying excitement throughout TV Head that equaled his surprise. Nilaa could most definitely tear into his muscle tissue and the internal trauma caused by an attack like that would be devastating. His intestines could handle the blow but the shock would be debilitating, long enough for her take advantage of that. Yeah, not getting hit by that was preferential.

"Wooh! Let's see what else you can do!" the villain said with a smile in his electric voice. TV Head spun the two around, once, twice, three times as he stood up into their spin before launching her through the doubles doors into the street. Nilaa was sent flying before crashing into a light post, cracking and bending the metal structure over her body. The shock for the blow shattered the glass of the building behind her and the light fixture above her, shards of glass blowing out in every direction. Without skipping a beat TV Head dashed to Nilaa and saluted her. "Right here puppy!" Before blinking up seven yards into the sky.

TV Head patted his knees with his hands and teased with a "Come on, girl! That's'a good girl, come on!"

Nilaa had the instinct and the strength, all that was left was to test her endurance and athleticism. TV Head wanted to see how high she could jump and how fast. Sitting in the sky put him at the advantage though, making it so all he had to do was wait for her to leap up before delivering a counter blow. TV Head focused his magnetic lanes around his left leg, waiting for Nilaa to jump. The woods were to the north and he had every intention of sending her flying into those trees. Once there the real fight could start.

The end result of the spinning hold was quite predictable. With momentum built up the feral girl was launched from the precinct and into the street, blowing out the front doors, one of which ended up wedging itself within a nearby car's windshield. While alarms screamed within the streets Nilaa impacted with a light post, bending the metal frame before it finally toppled over onto a nearby sidewalk. For a few moments the wolf lay still. Then a sudden breath of air was sucked inwards.

As the wolf stumbled to her feet steam poured forth from her mouth and nostrils. Nasty bruises concealed by a thin layer of blood disappeared within seconds. Her internal injuries were already repairing themselves neatly. An adept ear might even hear the popping and cracking of bones as they automatically readjusted themselves. Still, TV Head's advanced vision would manage to pick up a drop in overall temperature. It wasn't much, but it was evident enough to be noticed. Her body's extensive repairs took a hefty price.

Civilians who'd gathered around due to the earlier gunfire now started to panic and scream! Some fled as well, and some even took out smartphones to record what was happening! They drew the blood soaked girl's attention. She sniffed at the air. Food was present. If she managed to devour them she'd regain a lot of energy. And perhaps she might have taken the wise choice and simply gone after them, but Nilaa was not at all properly trained. She couldn't control herself in this form. Instead a greater threat drew her attention.

If she'd been of sound mind Nilaa might have almost been offended by the man's words. Thankfully she was not in the least bit of proper thought. As TV Head expected she was driven in this moment by pure instinct and emotion. The tell-tale spiderweb of cracks formed beneath her as claws dug into the cement. A brief crouch brought her into position. Then with another burst of incredible strength she shot off from the ground like a rocket! Her mouth was wide open in an attempt to chomp down upon TV Head. More importantly: she was going for the jugular. Of course she couldn't re-direct herself midair like TV Head could, so this left her completely exposed to an attack! But then she wasn't thinking straight either.

Little mind was paid to the civilians that had surrounded the station. Even going in TV Head hadn't given them any attention. He wasn't in the mood for killing civilians at the moment an above all else that wasn't what he had come here for. Sometimes, TV Head got a bit carried away with a fight, just like he had done with that throw. He should have pulled his punch on that last attack but he was just having so much fun! So his attention was instead focused on the feral wolf child and when he saw the colors of her heat shift, he knew what was going on. The infrared sight afforded to him showed what had originally been a thick red had moved further into her body, the outlines of her form giving into a feint green. Despite this, she still had an impressive amount energy stored up. TV Heat noted that, as well as her tunnel-vision like focus, making sure to remember that for in the future if he got to teach her.

When Nilaa launched herself up to TV Head his body shifted around to her flank once more. He noted that her flanks seemed to be rather exposed since her attacks were so linear, figuring that she would need some hand-to-hand training to fix this. She had good instincts, but that only meant breaking those instincts down and building them up with something better would be more difficult. Then again, maybe they could build off that, create her own wolf like style. Yeah. . .teaching her was going to be tough, but definitely worth it if she had the muscle memory for it.

TV Head spun himself around Nilaa, sticking his leg out wide like a fouetté  until it made contact with her body. This time however, TV Head made sure that it was the calve that made contact with Nilaa's under her ribs, so as to avoid breaking anything or hitting her with his own shin. Still, the force of the blow from so much mass an acceleration sent the naked girl careening for the woods. TV Head followed alongside her, grabbing her by the back of her head before her flight was cut short by crashing into an oncoming tree. TV Head had remembered his previous attack and wasn't about to repeat the same mistake. Instead, he slammed his fist into the same side he had hit in before and let go over her head, letting the force of punch send her skidding across the dirt.

Yet again the hovering man shifted around with ease, and although Nilaa's eyes were able to follow the rest of her body was simply too dedicated in its attack. Another miss! It didn't help either that she was being predictable at the moment. TV Head's leg made impact with her body once more, although the careful precision meant less broken bones this time. It'd also help to knock the wind out of her!

And so as Nilaa went hurtling through the air she found herself completely paralyzed, the air having been forced from her lungs by the impact. Her body tumbled along, racing towards the trees, only to be abruptly yanked by the sudden stop made by a large hand against the back of her head. The moment of reprieve was cut short again as she was struck in the very same location where she'd been recently kicked! Instead of a tree she made impact against the ground. An indent was made and debris sent scattered as she bounced once, twice, once more through some bushes, and finally came to a tumbling stop within a small clearing.

Again she lay still, only this time to catch her breath. Air was frantically sucked into her body, claws digging at dirt, gripping painfully while the attack caught up with her. She needed energy. Her reserves had been temporarily bolstered by those within the precinct, however much had been used in her attack and the healing of her body from many bullet wounds. This brief scuffle against the strange man only exacerbated her issues. Instinct drove her to devour anything currently edible. The forest was filled with such things.

With one paw gripping the ground Nilaa dragged herself against the nearest tree. She bit into it, cracking wood. It was living. Edible enough. Not nearly as filling as meat was but it was all she had at the moment. And so the wolf started to devour the hearty plant. If she could regain enough energy she could go back onto the warpath. However as her exhaustion started to kick in so too did her more rational thought. Not quite there yet, of course. She was still frenzied. But without energy it would come to an end.

For a second TV Head had lost sight of Nilaa, causing his head to swivel from one point to another. The infrared made finding her easy though and so did the sound of a tree getting ripped into. Behind the foliage the heat from the wolf was clear as day despite night having already set upon the two. TV Head nimbly avoided the surrounding trees as he swiftly glided to Nilaa's flank. What he saw made him tilt his head in curiosity, confused for a moment by the sight. Never before had he scene someone take a bite out of a tree, much less sallow the chunks whole too. So the little thing had an appetite that paled her in size? That would explain why she had taken to eating everything save for the bones, but even this made TV Head realize that if he hadn't shown up she probably would have eaten that too. The draining energy from her body was probably linked to that appetite, TV Head surmised. Would a tree even do anything for her? That seemed absurd but then again, he bled mercury, so who was he to judge.

At this point TV Head had a good idea of how Nilaa's quirk worked and knew now that she could easily take a pounding. Most importantly, she was a natural at putting on a show and that practically made TV Head's heart flutter. But TV Head had seen enough. Not wanting to give her the chance to prolong this at the chance of any Pro's showing up, TV Head decided that it would be best to end this now. She could heal internal an external blows but that didn't seem to keep her safe from the force of an impact. With that in mind, TV Head made his move. In an instant TV Head flung himself in between Nilaa and the tree, his left side to her as he slid in low an under hold on the tree.

TV Head's flexibility was impressive, considering Nilaa's size compared to him. His legs were spread wide apart with one stretched out and the other bent at the knee, giving TV Head the room he needed to come in under Nilaa's hungered grip that clung to the bark. As TV Head slid in he launched the hilt of his blade out of its sheath with his thumb, sending it flying through the air with a loud -fwip!- like a blunt projectile into Nilaa's diaphragm. The sound of the shock filled the woods with a -POP-, sending any of the birds that had stayed in the nearby trees scattering for the skies. The shock wave reverberated through an out of Nilaa, rustling the leaves above their heads as TV Head came to a skidding halt. He stayed low to the ground under Nilaa, the hilt of the long odachi still lodged against her diaphragm, waiting to see to if that was enough to incapacitate the frenzied kid.

Chomp! Chomp chomp chomp! Chomp chomp!

By the time TV Head closed in on her Nilaa had already taken a few sizable chunks out of the trunk. TV Head might even notice that the hunks of wood were providing her with at least some energy. If she'd had enough time to go through and eat a few trees then things might have gotten a little dicey. Thankfully the man had enough sense and enough of an idea about her quirk that he knew not to let that happen.

In a show of incredible flexibility and skill TV Head managed to wedge himself between the feasting wolf and her meal. A powerful pommel strike drove the air from her lungs yet again, although the shockwave only further damaged some of her internal organs. Not that it'd stop her. She could heal from some incredible injuries while she was frenzied. Her body could probably even handle such a blow if she'd had more time to feed. But alas TV Head was too powerful and she'd been too starved and too drained by the various encounters that she'd endured.

And so the little wolf stumbled back, slumping against a pristine barky trunk. Steam poured forth from her mouth and nostrils as injuries were swiftly stitched up within her body. However TV Head would notice that this act also drained the heat until it was at roughly normal levels. Of course she naturally ran a bit hotter than most people. As she drew in deep exhausted breaths the glow within Nilaa's eyes faded away. Ears perked up now while her head rested back against the tree. Her stomach rumbled with hunger.

"Nilaa hungry" she whined.

"Fucking, sweet, you're still breathing, that's'a relief" TV Head said with a smile blinking on across his screen. With a speed that could top lightning bolts it was the act of holding back that he found to be most difficult. The slightest miscalculation and he might reduce someone to a pretty red mist which, honestly, wasn't as fun as it sounded most of the time. It was the act of holding back that kept him from running dry on energy, if he didn't what would be 24 hours of energy could be reduce to 12, or 6, or 3. This quirk was beyond difficult to manage if he wasn't too careful and that could really put a drag on his fun. But it was this experience with his own energy intensive quirk that helped him understand Nilaa's so quickly. Energy, stamina an endurance were the building blocks of their quirks but experience and training was the key.

His legs pulled themselves together as his body moved back upright. The long odachi slid back into its hilt with a click and TV Head turned himself from the tree to look at the exhausted wolf, his thermal vision gone and replaced with its usual ghostly blue glow. TV Head quietly stepped up to Nilaa and then bent himself over, bringing his screen close to her face. Now that he had a moment of peace with the girl he could really take her in. She was small and almost looked malnourished despite her massive appetite. For some reason, she was naked, and her hips really stood out with her body slouched against the tree like that. It crossed TV Head's mind to take advantage of a such cute and weakened girl like that as he felt his member twitch at the thought, but he maintained his focus. The plan always came first. Usually.

"The name's TV Head, kind of obvious I know, but you wanna know what isn't obvious?" TV Head said as he tilted his head to one side. "I've got a home safe from all these people who don't want you eating their food, and guess what? We've got food for daaaaays, food for miles, and lots'a people who would love to make your acquaintance".  He continued with his arms spreading wide like he was measuring it all out for Nilaa to see before bringing his hands down onto his knees. "You like how that sounds? You come with me and you can have free food for an entire day, guaranteed. No tricks."

TV Head was actually being honest. He wasn't interested in keeping anyone in the Villains Syndicate against their will, that would only discourage them from wanting to join or stick around. But he also needed to get this girl to their doctor, to make sure the damage wasn't too bad. He could use some x-rays of his own to check Nilaa's bones but that wouldn't change the fact that he wouldn't be able to see any internal trauma or bleeding. He was still unsure if Nilaa had healed fully now that her frenzied state had worn off, but she was most likely in need of some food, at the least. Of course, if she disagreed, he might just knock her out and bring her with him. He'd let her go after she got to see the place and have a belly full of food, if that wouldn't already change her mind.

Why wouldn't she be breathing? Had he really hit her that hard? She did remember pain. Lots of pain. A quick glance around clued her in just a little more into what had happened. Blurry memories became clearer. She'd attacked him. But then she'd been hungry and he looked filling. In her mind it'd all been fair. He fought back because, well, people didn't like being eaten. Even she knew that! Not that it saved those police officers. Or the prisoners. Also the people just visiting.

Right! Introductions! One of Nilaa's furry hands moved to her chest, motioning to herself. "Nilaa is Nilaa" she growled out as clearly as possible. It wasn't an angry growl. If anything it was a tired one! Really it was just her way of speaking, like she'd learned to speak through hearing others. In reality that was exactly the case. She never really got the idea behind clothes. Okay, maybe to cover up against winter chills, or to hide food, or because sometimes to get food people made her wear at least something, but still! Naked was totally the best way to go.

TV Head's offer was quite generous given their first interaction! The wolf's large tail smacked gently and repeatedly against the tree behind her. Free food? She wasn't about to say no to that. After all she didn't have any issues with the man. Why would she? She'd just tried to eat him and he was still offering her a place to stay warm and food to quench her hunger! Hopefully he had enough!

"Food good. Nilaa come!"

One paw reached behind her. Claws dug into the tree trunk in order to allow her leverage for standing up. Slowly she dragged herself to her feet. A sharp exhale left her briefly. There was still pain within her body. It was also fairly exhausted and sore from the fighting. Still, she could stand! And probably walk! Maybe!

"TV Head nice. Nilaa like!"

Oh dear lord she was actually a barbarian. No clothes, next to no vocabulary and with a civilized nature that would make Vikings laugh. Actually, she would probably get along perfectly with some Vikings. TV Head made a mental note to throw some viking stuff her way in the future. Just to see how she would react. That could be fun. . . TV Head leaned back as Nilaa continued, standing up with her. "'Like'. Riiight, well I'm glad you like me." TV Head felt confused. It felt a little strange to be standing next to someone so small in both size and socialization, but the otaku in him couldn't help but be entranced. The more she talked the more the fanboy deep in his heart screamed to leap out of his screen. But it was hopeless. . .there was no resisting.  "Godyou'resofuckingcute." TV Head groaned out like grinding metal. He had done his best to keep it in but the raging spirit of an actual fucking nerd made it impossible. He was powerless against Nilaa's. . .charm.

TV Head's cord swayed excitedly from his box head behind him. He stood there, still, but the cord was practically doing an interpretative dance. It swayed through the air with vigor as TV Head looked down at Nilaa, not stopping as he spoke. "Well Nilaa, just uh, hop on my back here and we'll get going." He said, motioning to his back with a thumb.

The wolf's head tilted slightly. Did the strange man not enjoy being liked by others? Was it wrong to like others? Perhaps she'd gotten something off. Oh well. She was just being honest. Lying wasn't really her forte. It was much easier to tell the truth, unless of course she was hunting someone. A little guile never hurt in those situations!

Then came the compliment! It was quick but she caught on to the words. Understanding usually wasn't too difficult, it was really mostly the speaking which she had troubles with. Usually. Still, he couldn't be talking about her, right? She looked over her shoulder before returning her gaze up towards the man. With a confused tilt of her head she pointed a claw towards her face, as if to ask if he was still speaking to her. The idea that she was being complimented wasn't completely lost on her. In fact the possibility did make her tail wag just a little more fiercely behind her!

Nor did it help that TV Head's cord swatted around at the air behind him. Nilaa had difficulties focusing on his face, eyes constantly darting towards the sudden movements whenever they popped up behind the man on either side of his large head. Speaking of which, he had a very neat head indeed! She stood up on her tippy toes, wagging a claw over before, very carefully, she poked at the screen! Was it hard like other screens? Could he feel it?! She was so curious!

And then she was ordered to hop on the man's back! "Nilaa sorry if get blood on. Is dirty." An apology was owed ahead of time. Still, she did as she was told and clambered up against the man's back, carefully wrapping her slim arms around his neck in order to hold on tight! Even her legs did their best to grip around his hips. And now that she was this close she took a few moments to sniff at the back of the man's head, hoping to lock his scent into her memory.

"Nilaa like head. Is neat!"

'Fuck my heart. Oh my heart. Wait. Am I feeling?!'

TV Head felt like his heart was going to leap out of his throat at any moment. This was. . .unusual. This entire interaction was a first for the villain an, as far as TV Head could remember, this sort of feeling was something he only ever felt when he watched a good anime. When Nilaa pointed a claw at her face TV Head nearly fell over from the sheer cuteness, but instead compromised by grabbing both sides of his square head and screaming on the inside. Was God finally answering his prayers? Was he finally being rewarded for his all of his endeavors? God, it sure felt like it. Every little thing about this girl made TV Head want to sing to the heavens, especially the way her adorable eyes darted back and forth. His quirk did not equip him for such a scenario. . .Maybe TV Head had finally met his match. . .sheer unadulterated cuteness.

"Huh?" TV Head stood still, curious to see what Nilaa was trying to do. When she poked the screen a small -clink- echoed from out its glass. TV Head instinctively recoiled in surprise and brought a hand up to touch where had just been poked. He felt the pressure of her nail press against his screen an it almost tickled, but like how being lightly tapped on a finger nail might tickle. He rubbed his screen, feeling for any scratches and was relieved to feel none. Buffing out scratches was soothing like a massage but was definitely annoying. He'd much rather spend his time plotting or watching a movie. There wasn't ever a time someone had taken such a pure and genuine curiosity in TV Head's appearance like this. Most of the time he was met with disdain, confusion or disgust. This was. . .a pleasant change of pace for TV Head.

Once Nilaa had climbed onto TV Head's sturdy back his cord wrapped around their bodies, securing the two together. He was going to expand his magnetic well around the two, which would give Nilaa all the benefits of not being effected by gravity or the friction of air, but he didn't want to risk losing such precious cargo. TV Head could feel Nilaa sniffing at the back of his head which almost made him squirm but, when Nilaa said she liked his head, he lost it.

"You. . .you fucking sweet thing you! You can eat as much as you want!" Nilaa couldn't see it but a large " TToTT" had popped up across his screen. There were people all over the internet who either said he looked like a freak or that he looked cool, but that was just the internet. This was his first in person comment of such a caliber. Most of the time people just lambasted his head. . .but then again. . .those people were usually meeting either the end of his sword or his cock. . .so that might be a causation. No! Even before his reign of villainy people still sneered and stuck their noses up at him. 'A freak of nature' they called him. Bastards. But Nilaa! Nilaa was different! Special! She hadn't been corrupted by society. She was pure. TV Head would make sure that such an ugly society wouldn't taint her.

As the two lifted up into the air, TV Head was practically blabbering like an emotional wrought child who had just seen a puppy for the first time. "I swear to whatever eldritch abomination that has cursed us with existence on this shit stain of a rock that I will never let you go hungry again. Damn those cops! Damn those people! But not you! Oh you sweet precious little thing oh you're too kind, oh my heart, my aching alloy heart. Damn them for letting you go hungry! I'm glad you ate them! Those ass stains, those damned meat sacks! But you! You can have whatever you want! You want meat? We'll get you all the meat in the world! We can get you candies and steaks and just. . .just. . .fucking. . .keep saying things like that and I swear you can have it all! TToTT" He just. . .continued. This was too much for the guy.

Clink!

So it was like a normal television! Interesting! The little noise brought a smile to the girl's lips. It was a pleasant noise. She wanted to poke it some more. The way he rubbed at the spot also clued her in to a few things. First, he could feel things on his head! Secondly, it didn't hurt him too much to be poked by a claw as long as she was careful! Thirdly, it was a real television! What could she watch on it? How did he see through it? Was it his actual head or did he have a head inside? So many questions!

But for now her main focus was on food. When she felt cords coil around her body she briefly tensed up. Shackles were not something she enjoyed. But she soon relaxed herself. He seemed nice enough that she didn't need to worry. After all he was getting her food! He couldn't be a bad person, right?

"Nilaa is sweet? Nilaa not taste Nilaa."

The thought did make her curious. What did she taste like? Actually, what did he taste like? She was busy wrapping herself against his body and so she didn't really have a good way of tasting herself, but tasting him was as simple as dragging her tongue against the back of his big head! And so she did just that! One solid lap of her pink tongue against the box shaped head.

"W-what?"

So many words! Some she didn't understand at all! Socializing was difficult for her. But she understood some things. And, as best she could, she shouted out alongside her new friend, voicing her agreement with the few things she did manage to get through her head!

"No hungry! Bad cops! Bad people!" she called out, thrusting a fist in the air between each statement while they flew forth through the forest! "Nilaa want eat with friend! We eat all things! All meat! All candies! All steaks!"

She didn't mind sharing so long as she had her proper fill!

'Taste. . .? Now that's a thought. . .' TV Head half-jokingly thought to himself. Oh if only he could actually taste things, that would be nice. How would a girl like her taste anyways? Salty maybe? She did eat a lot of meat. Maybe TV Head could get someone else to taste her for him. The idea almost made him laugh. 'Pft, that's a good one. Try describing color to a blind man why don't I'. Just before TV Head broken out into his rambling, Nilaa drug her tongue across the back of his head, sending a shiver up and down his spine. It might have tasted something like iron, or steel, despite its wood grain finish. He visibly shook as he let out a gasp. THAT was also new. It actually felt kind of nice. . .Hold on. If he put peanut butter on his. . .would she. . .?

But TV Head broke into his rant no matter, the confusion an excitement of all of this quickly overturned by his anger for the outside world. TV Head also rose his fist up into the air with Nilaa, shouting and chanting alongside her. "Yeah! Fuck the police! Eat meat! Fuck the police! Eat meat! Oh. We're here." In all of TV Head's excitement he had forgot to hold back on his energy consumption and had blasted the two across the state of Texas into Colorado in a matter of seconds. "Fucking. . .damnit. . ." he groaned as he felt a sudden wave of drowsiness wash over him. His screen flickered like someone might blink their eyes as he did his best to bring the two down to the ground.

"Just, work with me here for a second. This damn cold wont be an issue soon . . ." Their descent was a little bit wobbly but he managed to bring the two down to a small shack nestled on a mountain side. They were very high up and the wind around them frigged, gusts of white snow blowing against the dark night like stars of their own. The cold wasn't helping TV Head's drowsiness either. His clothes helped maintain the preferred temperature for someone like him to stay comfortable, but that wouldn't last long in this cold. One could only imagine what Nilaa was enduring now. Fortunately they wouldn't have to stay for too long as TV Head approached the shack door. He tapped on it a few times with a specific rhythm that sounded almost like a song, keeping his cord wrapped around Nilaa to keep her pressed tightly against his warm body. They waited for a couple of seconds and then the door hissed open despite its decrepit appearance. TV Head brought the two into what was an old elevator shaft and nothing more. There were some old mining lights on the walls of the hollowed out mountain but beyond their sickly yellow light, there wasn't much else in there.

"Fook police? Eat meat! Fook police! Eat meat! Eat police? Eat meat! Eat police! Eat meat!"

And then they were at their destination! It was downright frigid. Icy cold winds and snow battered the poor naked girl. Being soaked in blood didn't help either. She shook against the man's back, clinging as tightly as she could manage. At least he provided some warm to her body. Her tail also was quite large and fluffy, although it also being soaked with blood made it less effective at the moment.

Nilaa let out a soft sigh of contentment when they entered the shack. It was small but it was at least out of the cold. Honestly she didn't mind. Was this where he lived? She'd lived in worse conditions. Her tail started to wag just a bit, somewhat slowed due to its slightly frozen state!

"Nilaa like friend place. Is cozy. Friend warm. Nilaa share warm."

With a smile she pressed her face against the back of TV Head's neck, nuzzling just a slight bit. It was nice and warm and she hoped to pass on some of her own warmth to him. He also deserved some affection! After all he was providing her food! And he was a friend! Friends deserved affection. She only had one friend in the world. Technically that made him her best friend! Although her rumbling tummy did prompt her to sniff at the air.

The door creaked shut behind the two as the old cogs and gears of the place worked to push it back into place. Finally, the cold was cut off from the two and TV Head could unwrap his cord from Nilaa. For a moment TV Head wondered just what the hell kind of conditions Nilaa had lived in to think that this was cozy. This was just an elevator shaft for crying out loud, they hadn't even got to the good part yet. He started to say that she could get off, but when the little wolf girl started nuzzling against the back of his neck, TV Head just quieted himself as his shoulders slumped over and shivered with pleasure. "Hhhhhh. . ." TV Head wasn't used to this level of affection and was completely baffled on how to handle it. So, he simply decided not to handle it just let it happen.

"Yeah. . .friend. . ." TV Head repeated to himself. That wasn't something that he had heard before. Was he making the right decision bringing her to a place full of villains? There would be plenty of people who might try to take advantage of her good nature. . .that just meant that TV Head would have to keep an eye out for her. This level of affection an innocence was starting to make him feel a level of responsibility that was unheard of from him. Villains were allowed all the freedom in the world but that meant they were permitted to keep each other in line with their fists if things got out of hand. The feeling TV Head had welling up inside of him was starting to remind him of his anime's, it almost made him feel like an older brother. 'My fantasy can come true! OH Dear fucker up above, please let this be true. . .oh please let it be true.'

"Friends? Yes! Friends! Absolutely! We can be the best of friends!" TV Head replied as he approached the dark shaft. There were lights on the side trailing down to the bottom but from up there the lights barely illuminated the bottom of the tunnel.  Instead of waiting for the elevator TV Head stepped out into the air and slowly floated the two down. As they made their descent, TV Head noticed Nilaa's notoriously loud stomach, it's growl echoing throughout the tunnel. TV Head looked back over his shoulder to Nilaa, saying "Aye, someones hungry. I don't blame you after that fight we had. By the way! Nice fight! You could use some practice but you're totally a natural, a real talent." TV Head finished finished his words with a 'nice' thumbs up.

The cozy room only got bigger! Huzzah! Perhaps there was food in here yet! Not that she minded waiting a little longer for food. He did promise some after all! And she felt like she could trust him. Even though he'd just beaten the snot out of her. Why let such small details get in the way of a delicious meal?

While Nilaa was not exactly a good person she wasn't quite a villain either. Sort of. It really was a point of view sort of thing. She didn't eat people out of malice or anything, she was just really hungry and people were food to her! People ate cows and stuff, why couldn't she eat people? They were on the same level in her mind. Just less meaty. Of course exceptions were made for certain individuals. Like TV Head! He was a friend. It was bad to eat friends. She at least knew that.

"Best friend?! Nilaa have best friend! This best day!"

And so TV Head's status as best friend was instantly cemented into place! With tail fluttering about wildly behind her Nilaa turned her gaze this way and that, taking in the changing scenery. Of course she also sniffed at the air repeatedly, hoping to lock down all the scents that she could. When TV Head looked back towards her she grinned, lifting her own thumbs up in response!

"TV Head amazing! So strong! Nilaa just try eat. Not know how fight."

Her head nodded a couple of times. She did indeed lack any real combat training. It was all instinctual to her. If he was willing to help her with that then he was an even greater person than she already thought he was! Although something suddenly came to mind.

"Nilaa not see mouth. How friend eat?" Her ears perked up in alarm. Wait a minute! "How friend talk? How friend kiss?!"

At this point the baby blue glow from TV Head's screen was dim at best. His focus and mind both felt foggy and heavy but he really didn't want to have to use any vehicles to get around. He estimated that he had maybe a hours worth of energy left before he would simply pass out. Exhaustion was strange for TV Head. He would black out and wake up sporadically as his body did its best to keep him going. He wasn't sure if he would die from not being plugged into an AC outlet after some amount of time or if he just wouldn't be able to use his quirk. Moving without his quirk though was absolute hell. 1,400 pounds of carbon-steel  muscle tissue, copper bones and rock heavy organs put such an incredible strain on him that the pain was excruciating as it was equally slow. The longest he had gone without being plugged into an outlet was two hours, at the most, an even then that moment was hardly a visible memory. What he did remember was the pain. It was like he was cursed. Speaking of being cursed.

Nilaa's question made TV Head feel a wave of coldness wash over him like a damp blanket that had been left on the mountain side. He tried to do his best not think about what his body didn't let him do, preferring to focus on what it could do that others couldn't. As the two made their way to the bottom of the shaft TV Head turned left and continued to glide the two down a long concrete tunnel. The tunnel itself was massive, big enough to fit entire columns of tanks and helicopters. The two of them were like ants in there with a ceiling that could hardly be seen if it wasn't for the pale lights over their heads. On either side of them were unlit chambers, some open while others were sealed shut with vault like metal doors. On the doors or next to the chambers were different lights and symbols or caution signs while some simply had numbers or decimals. This went on for as far as the eye could see and was just one fraction of what was a spider-web like network of tunnels.

For the first time since the two had met, TV Head remained quiet, his head focused forward. The exhaustion alongside that lack of focus made it impossible for him to keep from going down a rabbit hole of painful thoughts. He knew he couldn't have always been like this, right? If he was he would had to have been a c-section but, even then, he couldn't remember anything from his childhood. If he had ever tasted food or had a kiss he sure didn't remember it. All he had really known was this mutation which, most likely happened when he was at most the age of four, as was the case for everyone with a quirk. But then, had the mutation caused him to lose his memory over time? Was it because the more it developed the more it took from him? TV Head didn't really understand why this was like this for himself, all he knew was that it felt like a curse. Still, he was doing the best to make a blessing from it.

"I don't." TV Head finally said, his voice low now, devoid of its previous excitement. "I mean. I just talk like anyone else but. . .ehm. Yeah. I can't do any of that other stuff. It's stupid anyways. Overrated, I say." TV Head did his best to deflect the question, not wanting to give himself away.

Suddenly TV Head had gone quiet! Did he not hear her? No. He was super close. There was no way that was the issue. Maybe he hadn't thought about it before? Could it really be that her question was so mind blowing that he hadn't thought of it?! Or asked it? Was she the first?!

At least there were other things to distract her while she waited. An immense corridor. Many large doors with strange symbols. She could get lost in here if it weren't for her incredible sense of smell, and even then it'd be quite difficult to maneuver without first figuring out what and who were where. Which one of those doors contained the food? Someday she would find out. Maybe. Hopefully. Also were they going slower?

Finally the man spoke up! He sounded sad. "No eat?!" The very idea astounded and saddened her! No wonder he was so bummed out! Eating was the best thing in life! He kinda did talk at least still. She didn't know about kissing. Other people seemed to enjoy it. It was like eating faces. Except without the eating part. Mock eating? It was really weird. But then perhaps it was one of the things TV Head wished he could do. People usually wished they could do things that they couldn't.

So in a show of affection she leaned over one of the man's shoulders, nuzzling her cheek against the side of his boxy head! "It okay. Nilaa eat double for friend. Nilaa kiss friend too!" And with that she planted her best kiss against the man's box! A quick, somewhat sloppy, clearly inexperienced kiss, really just her pushing her lips against the television and holding them there for a few moments! Although it did beg the question, one which she actually came out and asked him. "Why people kiss? Is like eat face. Eat each other. But no eat. Is weird."

A sudden rush of thoughts began to flood into TV Head's mind. He stopped in his tracks, floating there, frozen with a thousand yard stare. 'Was that my first kiss? Was my first kiss just from a fucking wolf girl? Does that even count as a first kiss? Does any part of my head count as a place to kiss? How do I constitute a kiss?! IVE NEVER BEEN KISSED BEFORE WHATTHEFUCKISGOINGONHERE. DO I COUNT THIS?! HOW OLD IS SHE?! CAN I COUNT THAT? WHAT THE FUCK EVEN IS A KISS. CAN PEOPLE KISS SOMEONE WHO CAN'T KISS?!? HOW DOES THIS WORK. HOW DO I WORK OH MYGOD.' TV Head mentality bounced from one point to another, questioning whether or not getting kissed by someone younger than himself counted, if he could count and how even would someone count a kiss with a literal fucking tv head. But, when the thoughts washed away TV Head was only left with the realization of the situation, that Nilaa was so considerate that she tried her best to give TV Head something that she had figured he couldn't have. When he realized that, TV Head keeled over, grabbing at his heart with a tightly gripped hand against his chest. It felt like the thing was about to leap out from his chest.

"Hhhhhh. . ."  TV Head muttered, absolutely obliterated by Nilaa's affection. It was impossible to stay sad when someone was being so nice, so pure. This level of innocence made TV Head wonder if Nilaa would be able to understand the reasons why TV Head did what he did or if she would judge him. It honestly frightened him a bit, losing this kind of affection. It wasn't something he was used to but it was something else he didn't want to lose now. Whether he realized it or not, TV Head was beginning to feel rather possessive of Nilaa. She was the first person to ever show him this kind of affection, even if she was just some kid he had just beaten the snot out of. As TV Head regained his composure and resumed floating the two down the tunnel, TV Head ignored Nilaa's words with his own.

"Nilaa, do you like Heroes?"

A sadistic smile twisted on Hunter’s lips as he watched the figure in front of him as they seemed to twist on the spot as if lost. To most people, the figure would be barely visible within the dim lighting of the abandoned warehouse as shadows seemed to cling to every surface, unyielding to the meagre light of the mid-afternoon Chicago sun that attempted to peer in through the murky windows. He tilted his head as he continued to observe the man. To Hunter, the man looked pretentious in a rather flashy looking blue and white costume that looked to be something one of those figure skaters would wear. It was skin tight, allowing Hunter to see the curves of their body. He had pale skin that almost seemed to glow, made even more noticeable by his pitch black hair. He had the haughty expression that Hunter had seen on many heroes before. The kind of expression that made him laugh. He watched from the shadows as the hero brought his hand up, a shard of ice appearing in his grip.
The man threw the shard, and Hunter watched the projectile as it sailed through the air, before impacting the wall of the warehouse, penetrating deep. It was also nowhere near him. Hunter let out a derisive snort before saying in an almost singsong voice, “Missed me~” He then laughed as the hero quickly turned towards him and threw yet another projectile. But he was too slow. Hunter was in his element, hidden within the shadows of the warehouse which were numerous and all he had to do was move along the shadows, quicker than the hero could run. He shifted until he was standing behind the man, who was completely unaware of the danger that lurked so closeby. He was a fool to have followed Hunter into the warehouse. When he had first confronted Hunter, he had claimed that he was going to bring Hunter to justice, to cash in the bounty that was on his head.
And yet the fool knew nothing about the prey he hunted. If this was the standard for heroes, then Hunter was sorely disappointed. This hero wasn’t as entertaining as he had been hoping. In fact he was rather boring, only able to fire these pathetic little ice shards that did no damage to him while he was in the shadows. At this point, Hunter was merely playing with the man. As silent as smoke, he emerged from the shadows before taping the man on the shoulder. Even as the man jumped in surprise, Hunter melded into the shadows, watching as the hero turned around and threw another ice shard that seemed to land where Hunter was however it wasn’t able to do any damage.
He laughed again, “You’re so God-damn pathetic. Are you, like… retarded, or something? I thought you were here to cash in my bounty.” Hunter laughed again, mocking the man as he quickly moved away so that he was behind the man again. He emerged from the shadows, bending over as he picked up a piece of wood which he then threw at the hero before shrouding himself in the shadows once again. The wood hit the hero on the head causing him to turn around and shout, “Come on out, you coward!”
Hunter couldn’t resist but to roll his eyes, or rather the equivalent of. This hero was beginning to really bore him. He made a tutting sound before he said, “You’re very pathetic, you know. You say that you’re here to collect on the bounty that’s on my head, and you can’t even hit me with the most basic of attacks. You couldn’t fight your way out of a paper bag.”
“Shut up.” The hero snarled, “I don’t have to listen to this.”
Hunter emerged from the shadows in front of him, his upper lip curled in a snarl of disgust as he tilted his head a little, looking down his nose at the hero, “You know nothing about me. You just saw the dollar signs on my name, and felt the chance to give yourself a feel good wank like all you heroes do. You take down anyone that disagrees with you, and then stand around congratulating yourselves in one massive circle jerk. You’re just a bunch of liars that think of nothing but looking and feeling good. You don’t actually care about helping people and you don’t care about the people that you kill with your incompetence. You’re a bunch of hypocrites.” As Hunter watched, he saw the hero’s face twist in anger before the man threw another shard at him.
A tutting sound escaped Hunter as he once again blended into the shadows, causing him to completely evade the attack despite the fact that the shard struck with pinpoint accuracy. In a rather mocking tone, he said, “Let me tell you something, hero. When someone does the same thing over, and over again and expects a different result… that is the definition of insanity. That perfectly describes you… and the rest of your do-nothing organisation.”
“I’ll make you pay for that!” The hero growled before running towards where Hunter’s voice had come from. Hunter sighed a little before he moved behind the hero in a flash before he emerged from the shadows. The whites of his eyes had turned a solid black as his own shadow moved across the floor like a sinister snake. As it wrapped around the ankle of the hero, the man tripped and fell to the floor face first with a might crack as his nose collided with the concrete and snapped the bone in half. The man let out a scream of agony, but he didn’t seem to notice the shadowy hand that crept up his leg and torso before wrapping around his neck.
Hunter stepped up to the side of the hero, tilting his head a little as he looked down at the hero who twisted on his side to look up at Hunter as blood flowed freely from his nose like a river. The gangster smirked down at his victim and said in a mocking sympathetic tone, “This is the end of your career, I’m afraid.” The shadowy hand on the man's neck suddenly tightened, causing the hero to let out a choking sound. He reached up, attempting to claw at what was strangling him, but his hands met nothing but thin air. Hunter’s sadistic smirk widened as he said, “Just a few more moments, and it’s goodnight.” He squatted down, his gold and black eyes intent on the hero’s face.
The hero seemed to realise that these were the last few moments of his life. His blue eyes went wide with panic, the eyeballs bulging from their sockets. His mouth opened and closed, making him look like a gaping fish. His body twitched before he began to writhe on the floor in a pathetic attempt to escape the cold grip of death. But there was nothing he could do, and Hunter watched with a certain glee as the man's struggles began to lessen. His face had turned pale, as his lips turned a shade of blue due to the lack of oxygen. Hunter tightened the grip of the shadow, his own jaw clenching as he watched the hero’s eyes become dim before a lifeless look settled in them as his body went still.
Hunter watched for several long minutes before he reached forwards and pressed his fingers against the man’s neck, searching for the tale tell pulse that would indicate that he was still alive. When he could not find it, he pulled his hand away and stood up as his shadow retracted. With a blink of his eyes, the whites had turned to their normal colour. He kicked the body of the hero so that they were on their back before he spat on their corpse. This was not the first hero he had killed, and he felt no remorse for their death. After all, they had been the ones to come after him. Why should he feel bad about defending himself? Besides, he held contempt for heroes in general. He had not been lying when he called heroes liars and hypocrites. They were. All they cared about was making themselves feel good about themselves. It made him feel sick to his stomach because they dared to say that he couldn’t use his Quirk the way he did. Still, at least with the death of this latest hero, his bounty might increase which could mean more heroes will be coming after him. Which meant he could kill more of them and he quite liked that idea.

In 2015, 1 January, Los Angeles was turned into a war zone for two days as TV Head an a hand full of Villains assaulted and demolished the metropolis. On the first day the several dozen high ranked Villains, thugs and mercenaries, killed over one hundred thousands people, comprised of civilians, first responders and Heroes. TV Head hijacked major radio stations and local TV networks via radio manipulation and professed his ideology to the world. He said that the U.S. an its Heroes and Villains were nothing but a show now and swore to give the world the greatest show it had ever wanted, effectively declaring war on the U.S.. Between saving civilians, defending evacuation points and fighting the villains, the heroes that were there in the initial attack were kept on their back foot. It wasn't until the second day that Technomancer had organized with the U.S. military and the top twenty heroes for a counter attack. Fighting along the U.S. coast guard and navy, the top ten Heroes were able to push the Villains back out. By the end, over 150,000 thousand died an even more wounded while there was only a handful of Heroes and Villains left standing. The few villains that survived barely made it out with their lives. It was on that first day that Lillian's lover had been murdered at the hands of TV Head with little regard, like an after thought.

Over the next month the U.S. was left in shock as politicians and Home Land Security scrambled to decide on how to handle what was considered the largest security break in U.S. history. Fearing a repeat of September 11th, the U.S. government opted to handle the issue with covertness, taking to using a scalpel instead of a hammer. The matter was to be handled with the upmost scrutiny and tactfulness. Not wanting to incite mass hysteria or unrest, the U.S. Government took to managing the issue behind the scenes while assuring the public that it was doing everything in its power to uncover the Villains and their plots. During that time the government platformed and put heroes on a pedestal, praising the heroes for their hard work. Like wise, the media began putting even more attention onto the Heroes of the U.S.. In no time the focus went from how the Government was going to handle the threat to how would the Heroes handle this threat. Some feared losing popularity while others saw it as the perfect chance to earn more of it, but both were put into spotlight. Even though some Heroes were public servants, their affiliation with the government was quickly lost from public sight as the subjects and interviews centered around what the Heroes themselves would do. Despite all the big talk that the government and Heroes were giving, no progress was being made. TV Head's trail was spotless.

During that time, TV Head had cemented what would soon be known as the Villains Syndicate in a massive underground network of tunnels that spanned much of the U.S.. Their numbers were small but their resources an interest groups were growing every day. By the end of the month after the attack on L.A., TV Head had refitted and modified a part of the tunnels into what he had dubbed "The Proving Grounds". This place would be where he would nurture the next generation of Villains. He would use this place to teach them while giving refuge and sanctuary to Villains from all over. TV Head had made himself known to the world but he still needed to get the word out about the Villains Syndicate and he knew exactly how to do it. At first, TV Head hadn't noticed, but Lillian had dropped the smallest of onto his hoodie. It wasn't until the flower had started to grow that TV Head noticed an intrusion. The flower, of course, had its own magnetic field that, once grown, was easily detected by TV Head. His magnetic field was like another layer of skin whereas the flower was like noticing a pimple. TV Head recognized the flower and knew then that it was only a matter of time until one the top 10 heroes, Trip Star, was coming after him. He would set a trap and record the slaughter on video for the internet to see as an announcement of the Villains Syndicate's arrival.

TV Head rounded up the villains an informed them that they could expect an attack from one of two directions in the tunnels from the Heroes and likely, the military. There was debates and yelling, as some Villains left while others decided to fight the heroes. After that, there was much deliberation on what to do, on whether or not take the fight to the heroes or wait for them to find the Proving Grounds. It was decided to wait to fight on the Proving Grounds on the single fact that the P.G. was the most known territory they had control of. They knew they were safe from sonar or radio signal's down there, so they could use that to their advantage to avoid detection from above ground. With that in mind, two lines were to be set up for either entrance of the P.G. while TV Head would use his radio waves as sonar for the underground tunnels. If the military was detected then they would simply blow up which ever side they were coming from, dropping rubble with not needing to fear being trapped. If it was just Heroes, then the villains could lay in wait to ambush them. The only hole in the plan was that it rested on the idea that the enemy would either detonated a charge or break down a door to get into the tunnels. That or bypass one of the security doors. Either choice would give plenty of notice to the villains to set up. But this plan assumed that Trip Star and whoever she may bring did not have an alternative route that TV Head could not have known about. TV Head could never be too sure, but he doubted those chances. All the Villains would have to do is wait for the signal.
