Having exited Scarlet's room, Anpu directed herself straight towards the library. She knew that few minutes wouldn't make much difference, but the feeling of anxiety pushed her to a run. Out of all the school days, why did she have to leave her bag behind just today? She turned the corner, practically running head-first into the school's head of security, Mary Blackwater @JennyDK. She squealed in surprise at the impact. "Oh, s-sorry Ms. Blackwater!" She apologized, keen to continue on her way. She looked like a mess - a visage quite uncommon for the wolf-girl. Her hair was unkempt form the recent intimate encounter, her clothing still in disorder, and she began to become painfully aware of her aroused nipples thrusting themselves into the harsh material of the school's uniform. She moved herself to the side, trying to get around the guard.

The Southern born head of security is having none of that shit on her shift, especially when it is about a person she is supposed to talk to. She recovers insanely fast, as that is kind of required around here and get to her feet."Hooold it right there missy! Yah aint goin' nowhere, I tells yah! Stop this instant and get yir ass overe here!". She could care little for the weird unkempt frazzled looks of the young anubis lady, but she is here to do her job and that means talking to her and delivering the messaged she promised. With tons of students, it can be hard for her to know who is who, but luckily, not many use the library, so the assistant @Icarian Dreams is easy for her to remember. Of course, she is not hesitating to put on her intimidating presence and anyone who dealt with that, know it is not for show.

Yep, this was just what she needed. Getting stopped by the school's guard. @JennyDK Great.

She stopped in her tracks, pulling her ears back at the commanding voice. Did she really just get into trouble by bumping to the security guard? She turned towards the woman, looking to the ground, preparing to be scolded. "Y-yes, Ms. Blackwater?" She asked timidly, shaking a bit. She never really had any run-ins with the school's security, so the entire situation made her particularly anxious. She just hoped that whatever the guard had in plan for her wouldn't take too long.

Miss Blackwater walks over, with a slightly annoyed expression on her face."Yah know there is no running in the hallways. Where are yah even off to in such a scurry? Ah don't usually see yah this...frazzled? Has there been some sort of trouble?", she asks, very unaware of the doings of the assistant. She looks around just to be sure things are nice and clear and safe around the hallway."In any case, ah was going to tell yah to head over to the bookroom since there be a book keeper. Yah better get yahself in order first though", she finally suggests as she gets a closer look.

"S-sorry, Ms. Blackwater, left my bag at the library. Need to get it before they close up. S-so I guess I'm headed there anyways." She replied hastily, giving the guard an awkward smile. She breathed out in relief. It seemed she wouldn't have much difficulties from the woman. "N-no, no trouble at all!" She assured, blushing heavily, as she felt . Her tail wrapped around her body almost protectively. "H-have a nice day!" She exclaimed, before going on her way, stepping away in a rapid gait.

She tried to fix her clothing on the way to the library, feeling her cheeks flush at the subtle lewdity of her apparel. From what Mary said, it seemed that Myrddin was still at the library. She wondered what he wanted, he usually left her in peace after classes. The wolf-girl made sure to dismiss most of the indecent thoughts regarding the flirty mage that filled her head. No point getting her hopes u-  Ugh. She silenced her train of thought. The first few days were always most frustrating. She would usually try and get a leave for the week or two she was in this agitated state, lock herself in a room with a couple of books, and try not to go mad, but with this being the first week of school, she couldn't really do that. One thing at a time, Anpu. She decided.

Mary shortly contemplated chasing after her, but quickly realizes she has no reason to do so and simply wath the female Anubis run off, not really too interested in telling her twice that no running is allowed. Since she is usually a good girl, she lets it slide for now. She shakes her head a little bit and head off to the next area that needs her attention.

[TroyxAnpu Scene Start]

Anpu crossed the corner, entering the hallway leading up to the dorm wing of the building. She was looking rather curious - the shirt of her school uniform had been replaced with what seemed to be a firm vest - one usually worn on top of clothing, and one that was a couple sizes too large for the girl. As she walked, one could notice a slight tremor in her step, almost as if she were disturbed or uncomfortable by something, every other of her steps slightly awkward, causing the bag she had on her shoulder to shake ever so slightly, and, as a result, the books to audibly shift within the canvas. Her face sported a slight blush, perhaps a further clue as to the girl's state, a recent memory still cherishing in her mind. By her side, slightly behind the girl, walked the man that had not long ago caused this blush to appear - Troy Havershan @Thatannoyinggod - the school's most recent librarian.

They had been walking for a while, only now entering the part of the school where the dorms were located. Their admitedly short journey was quite uneventful, as neither of them decided to start a conversation so far, but now, as they were approaching the end of their travel, the man extended his hand, giving the girl's head a few gentle caresses, to which she reacted with a contented murmur and a visible relaxation in her body's movements. Her tail started wagging slightly, every few moments softly striking the man's leg, before bouncing off to the other side of her body. Prompted by his gesture, the girl turned her head to the librarian and decided to break the silence that surrounded them. "Master Havershan..." She started, herself not really certain on what she intended to say. They walked amidst the quiet for a few moments longer, before she picked up again, this time with a question ready in her mind. "What do you expect of me? A-as your assistant, that is." She added, eyeing the man with curiosity. Master Illrean had never really assigned her any particular duties - as long as she kept the place tidy and running - but she wondered about the new librarian's thoughts. She had to admit he did seem much more organized than the rather chaotic persona of Myrddin, and so she imagined his views on the matter may differ.

Troy Havershan walked beside the girl @Icarian Dreams, his orange red hair a bit disheveled. Anpu seemed a bit nervous from the silence of their walk. He had escorted her to the dorms, not quite feeling comfortable letting her go off on her own in her current state. He had reached to pet her, hoping it would calm her down...and because her ears and tail reminded the human of a dog. Her tail swished from side to side happily when he did pet her, hitting his leg in the process. He didn't mind it though, thinking it was a little cute actually.

When she asked him what he expected of her as an assistant, he looked up to the ceiling for a moment to think. "Well, for the first while, you'll be pretty busy actually. I'm going to need help with learning some of the monster languages that I don't know, or at least help finding translation books to help get me started. Then I'm most likely going to need your help reorganizing some of the sections. I saw some things that I wasn't particularly thrilled about in the organization system. I also will need help with making sure there isn't any updates that need to be done in the computers' archives. After all of that, most of what you will be doing is helping other students find what they are looking for if i am busy with someone else, putting away any book returns, and keeping the peace and place cleaned. Oh! And any other tasks that I might come up with along the way." He gave her a soft smile, hoping that he didn't just scare her with the long list of things he just rattled off.

At first, Anpu's ears perked up at Troy's answer, hoping to catch everything he had to say. Around the middle of his speech, she started to think that maybe she should have gotten out a notepad and a pen first. When he was done, however, she recounted all the things he mentioned in her mind, and realized that most of them she had already been doing, or was planning to do anyways, so the list was considerably smaller than it sounded."Right..." She said quietly, as she focused, making a mental note on all the things he noted. She wanted to improve her Ancient, so she could take care of the translation books then, reorganizing sections was a time-consuming but rather easy job, so she didn't really worry about that either. What she was worried about though were the computer archives, as she never really was too keen on technology, letting Myrddin deal with that side of things. She doubted it would be that complicated though. Aside from that, the rest seemed quite similar to what she had already been doing. Her head rose, meeting Troy's eyes. "Noted." She smiled, with what seemed almost like pride.

"I'm usually in the library when I don't have lessons - during the breaks and if a class gets cancelled." She informed, feeling that it was something the librarian should know. "Most of the times in the afternoon as well. Unless I'm out in the city for something." The wolf-girl added. She couldn't help but feel her smile widen at the feeling of his hand continuosly petting her. She liked it. It made her feel... cared for.

"Good to know. There might be occasional times I might need you for something important, so I'm sure I can write a note to excuse you from class. BUT, you can't let your grades slip because you are helping me. Understand? I will try to give you plenty of time for any studying or homework while you take care of your duties, along with any of your free time of course." He liked that she was ready and willing to help, but he wouldn't let himself be the cause of her not doing well in school. She had a life of her own, and he wouldn't be the one to make her mess it up.

He pet her a little more before taking his hanf off of her head and letting it fall beside him. He could feel her soft fur of her tail as it continued to wag side to side. It tickled his fingertips. He looked down at the young lady and had a small smile on his face. "So, you mention being in the library a lot, but don't you do other things as well? Any hobbies or friends that you hang out with aside from being in the library all day?"

"Yes, of course!" She was quick to assure, more than satisfied with such arrangements. She had always been at the top of the class, and she had no reason to think that would change any time soon. She did appreciate the concern though.

"Umm..." She lowered her eyes, slightly embarassed. "Not really," she started, her tail slowing down considerably in its movements. "I mean, aside from reading and studying..." The wolf-girl added after a while. "I haven't really made many friends around here either. And... most people that I've hanged out with left school last year, so..." She confessed, the thought bringing her mood down a bit. In the recent years Anpu would usually hang around her older sister and her friends, but ever since they graduated, she was mostly alone. Not many people came to the library to socialize, and Anpu wasn't really one to initiate things either. Her thoughts slowly moved to Scarlet, pushing a slight blush onto her face at the memory of the demon girl. Well, maybe that was about to change. And hobbies-wise? She thought for a moment.

"I've tried photography in my first year." She smiled slightly, recounting the memories. "But my camera broke mid-vacation, so that didn't really work out either." Her expression turned bitter once again for a second, as she thought for a moment more. She sighed, before bringing the smile back to her face. "I don't really mind though. Books are good company!" She exclaimed lightly. "There are so many topics to learn about!" Her eyes lit up once again as she turned the topic back to literature. "I've been trying to learn magic recently! Master Illrean gave me a tome before he... umm... left. He thought I may be able to learn something from it!" She turned for towards her bag, quickly producing a rather ancient-looking tome from inside. The cover has certainly seen better days, the pages were stiff and seemed almost as if they were to break when Anpu turned them, but it all seemed to somehow not fall apart. She traced the letter carefully, feeling the texture of the ink under her fingers. "It's in Ancient as well, talks about Anubi rituals!" She explained excitedly. "He started to translate it, but now that he's... gone, I guess I'll have to study a bit harder. The language, I mean."

He looked a little concerned at her saying that all she really did was read and study. He loved books as well, but people need to get out and about more often too. When he saw the blush, he couldn't tell if she was thinking of their recent encounter in the library, or something else. "Well, maybe you can make more friends this year. I'm sure more than plenty of the new students will be coming to the library, so you'll have chances to meet many of them. And, at least you won't be alone in there. I'll be around. Maybe sometime we can go do something other than sit around in the library, go walk around town or such." He gave her a smile, his offer to spend time with her outside of the library sincere.

At the mention of her camera breaking, he smiled wide at her. "I know a great place you can go to get your camera fixed. They usually give people a discount when mentioning me...on account that I've been a little clumsy and given them plenty of business..." He gave an embarrassed chuckle at the embarrassing information he just shared about himself. In truth, he thought photography was amazing, but he never could get a camera to work longer than one shot.

He watched her brighten up at the topic of books, a small smile and blush creeping on his face at the girl's excitement. When she mentioned the previous librarian once again, he had a pang of worry flash through the back of his head. She seems offly attached to the other guy. Still calling him master... I hope this isn't going to confuse her or cause any distractions later on when I need her. "Well that was nice of him. Maybe while we are looking for some translation books for me, we can also use them to help you with your own project. Anubi rituals... that sounds interesting, any particular reason for your interest in that subject?"

"Oh, I would like that!" Anpu responded with enthusiasm to the man's proposition of going out somewhere together. The thought was strangely intriguing for her. She caught herself stuck on a weird idea that a librarian never really left a library, even though she knew it was absurd. She realized that it must have been because of how rarely she'd seen Master Illrean anywhere else than the school library. Now that she reflected on it, it was a bit weird. Even she was out sometimes. But then, Myrddin used to spend his vacations in pocket dimensions, or so he claimed, so what could she know.

The mention of repairing her camera made her fall into thought for a while. If she recalled correctly, it still waited in the chest near her bed. If she could indeed get it repaired at a good price, she would have to try. "I'd appreciate the recommendation." She smiled back at him. It would be nice to get back into photography. There are so many things worth immortalizing, and words don't always give them justice. She pondered for a while.

The girl was quick to answer upon hearing Troy's question about her interest in magic. "Well, I've learned that spells can be plenty useful!" She smiled, then got slightly flustered, as she went into deeper detail. "Besides... my sister was quite good with the arcane, so I thought that maybe I would too..." She started, feeling a bit reluctant about sharing so much of her life with a man she met just today. But well, if she was to assist him for the rest of the year, he deserved to know something about her. "It's a rather uncommon thing among Anubi. Most of us can only cast divine spells, like my enchantment, for example." She mentioned the spell she cast a couple of times recently to protect the books. "And tomes of divine magic, like this one," she patted the book carefully. "Are quite rare. Most of our magic is passed from generation to generation," the wolf-girl explained. "So while I can't really cast with arcane, this may be my best shot at actually learning some magic!" She concluded, hoping that her explaination wasn't too convoluted.

He smiled as she liked his idea of spending time together outside of the library. He would have to think about where they could go, not knowing if she would like going to the bar that he frequented. Then again, it is ran by a monster...I wonder if Rufus might know what she is and have anything special she would enjoy. He still didn't know exactly what kind of monster she was... until she talked more about the book and her interest in magic.

Ah... so she's an Anubis. I'll have to look up some more information on them soon. Might help me better understand her. "That must be a pretty priceless gift then. Make sure to keep it safe. I've never really tried doing magic, aside from what I can do...can you call it magic if it's a curse placed upon you? Either way, I can't wait to see what you are able to do figure out and do with what you learn." The idea of her casting magic was definitely an interesting thing to him. With humans disbelieving in magic for so long, he hadn't had much of any interactions with it or chances to try it out. He gave her another pat on the head, a slight blush on his cheeks as he noticed his vest that she wore was a bit too big for her, his height allowing him to see straight down into it.

She blushed as well, as he gave her yet another headpat. He seemed to have really enjoyed doing that. Well, not that Anpu was against it. She was taking at least as much pleasure from it as he was, if not more. The sensation made it a bit harder for her to focus on the man's words, but she grasped everything he said. "Well, it's no doubt magic. Just not yours, Master Havershan." She decided upon hearing his dilemma, then addressed his further comment. "It may be a while before I actually get to cast a spell. I still have to brush up my Ancient first." She mentioned, keeping in mind that the translation she was given was quite modest in relation to the entire magical tome.

Having crossed another corner, Anpu raised her head, recognizing the corridor on which her dorm was located. She directed her steps towards the door marked with the number seventeen. "That would be my room!" she informed, a slight smile at her face as she gestured towards it. "I'll just change and give you your vest back, Master... Unless you would want to come inside?" She asked, raising her eyes towards the man, in question. She didn't want to occupy his time, but it would have felt impolite for her to just keep him waiting outside. And she wouldn't mind his company for a while longer.

He thought on her assessment, the idea that yes his curse is magic, but not technically his magic. It sounded fairly reasonable. "Well, you're a smart girl. I'm sure you will be able to figure it out fairly quickly. Then maybe you can even use divine magics even better than your sister's arcane."

As they turned the corner and she called out her dorm, he made certain to memorize the number and turn patterns it took to get here. He was thankful of his memory, just in case something happened and he needed to find her or make it to her room quickly. At her invitation to join her in her dorm room, he thought on it, but decided to decline. They had plenty of excitement today, and she probably needed rest. She also needed to work on that translation of the seal. He gave her a small smile, hoping he wouldn't disappoint Anpu too much. "Thank you for the invitation, but I think I'll have to decline this time. Might not be proper for me to join you in your dorm so soon, rumors and all. Besides, you've got some work ahead of you, and I wouldn't want to distract you...or accidentally ruin any of your stuff by mistakenly touching something. There's no rush on the vest, I have plenty more at home. How about you hold onto it for now. It looks pretty good on you~" He gave her a playful wink and then pat her head one more time, leaning slowly intending to give her a small peck on the forehead.

The corners of the wolf-girl's mouth rose upon his comment, her fluffy tail circling happily in gentle motions. She hadn't realized it, but for some reason, praise was worth so much more for her when coming from the librarian's mouth. She was grateful for the faith he had in her and deeply hopeful that she wouldn't let him down.

She lifted her head, her eyebrows rising slightly at his movement, then dropping ever so slightly in faint disappointment as he leaned towards her forehead. She hesitated for a moment, uncertain how much could she , then, in a surge of confidence, she raised to the tip of her toes, bringing her lips to his, and stole the kiss. Even if only brief, the contact of their mouths caused her heart to strike a little harder, her eyes closing for that one quick second. The images of their recent and passionate lovemaking sprung to her mind, bringing fire to her cheeks and loins. They have had made out then, but this kiss felt different, it's fortuity making it, in a way, even more valuable, making it something to be treasured. She stepped back, slightly ashamed of her boldness, uncertain if she hadn't overstepped her line. Her eyes avoided contact, as she rushed to her room in embarrassment.

She turned in the doorway, for reasons uncertain even for herself. It would have felt weird to just leave him like that. She looked at Troy, doing her best not to stutter as she addressed him. "Thank you, Master, for... umm..." She blushed heavily, feeling her red nipples harden and press against the firm texture of the vest she was given. Maybe it was better that he didn't want to come in. She didn't want to scare him, and she wasn't sure for how long could she hold her... enthusiasm at bay. "-Thank you." She managed to let out, red-faced, before quickly closing the door behind her, disappearing into her dorm.

Deva walked with shaky legs back to her dorm room. She could still feel the warming after effects of being pounded by Veronica back in the principals office. Perhaps Deva had been missing out on having this kind of passionate sex. But, as much she had missed it, she made the mental promise to herself to be able to move onto the next year this time around! She sighed as she looked down the hallway as she knew from heart where her dorm room was at this point. Which unfortunately was all the way at the end of the hallway. "Urgh~ Damnit, I shouldn't have left so quickly." Deva sighed as she did spent some time cuddling with Veronica after all that but then she left to not bother her anymore than she already had been. She spotted a bench and sighed as she flopped down on it. "Hooooo~ Much better~" She sighed as she waited for her legs to stop feeling like there were pins and needles.

Not long after and Deva can spot what looks like a young girl walk through the hallway, humming lightly to herself. There is a distinct and yet gentle and distinguished aura about her as she slowly makes clacking noises from high heels sounding through the hallway. Deva might recognize Bella from the same year as she she is in now, but even if she does, she would know how the young lady mostly keeps to herself or to her few select friends. Seeing a large brutish woman, Bella uses her Auspex to try and get an idea about the nature and current mood of the giant lady on the bench.

Bella's auspex would tell her that the wyvern sitting there had a mix set of emotions between calm, satisfied with a belly full of food and sexually satisfied as well, and somewhat tired. Deva didn't recognize the young lady and figured that she must be a first year since she had been kind of keeping track of the students that were still in Ironclaw thanks to her years of being hung back. Deva did a mental shrug before she raised one of her hands and waved at Bella in a welcoming gesture. Deva had learned a few tricks to at least try to look friendly with her. Once Bella got in voice range, Deva opened her mouth. "Hey." She greeted pretty monosyllably.

Bella is unsure what might have caused such states of mind and body in the older woman. Her curiousity seems to get the better of her as she slows down her walking. She giggles lightly and grin a bit from being addressed. Of course, with Bella being so studious, she recognizes the famous delinquent of the academy, the one who has yet to graduate even after many years. She bows a tiny bit and smile softly."Ohhh greetings miss. Do correct me if my memory fails me, but you are one the long termed student here, right?",  she asks softly, her voice like gentle music.

Deva nodded as she flushed a bit embarrassed about being so infamously known around the campus. "Hehe, yeah, but don't let whatever rumors you hear color me too much. I think we can get along pretty well. . . well, so long as I'm not hungry but then I think we can agree everyone shows a side of themselves that they'd rather not let anyone else see when they're hungry." Deva gently tapped one of her legs to see if it was still somewhat numb but unfortunately there was no luck. "How's your day been?" She asked as she did her best to remember how to talk nicely.

"I don't judge anyone before I get an impression of them beforehand on my own. Anything else is unfair and simply not allright. Get along? We can only hope so. I rarily stop up and talk to strangers, but you seemed....interesting. In a good way. I sense so many things inside of you...I would rather not pry, of course. I am a lady after all", she puts her arms behind her back and slightly bend forwards, her grin back on her face. She continues to study Deva, trying to spot if there are any chances in mood from the wyvern woman."Hunger? Hmmm....it has been a while..since I felt that. Of course...I am always happy to taste different...uhmm...menus..so to speak", she says and smells the hot blood rushing inside the veins of Deva. She leans back once more and continues to reply back, her eyes taking in the nice and strong form of the long termed student."Mine? Pretty good, actually. I did have a pleasant conversation with someone else and even had a chance to indulge in my...particular appetite. By the way, my name is Bella von Liebhertz and what is yours?"
