"Well, it all starts off when a meteor strikes in a small town and the local police go to investigate," Zero began, going on and on about a normal boy who's sister was taken away by the villains and thanks to a chance encounter, he gained magical abilities that he could use to fight them.

“What exactly are his powers?” Nadia asks. “Why was his sister taken?”

"To the villains, it didn't really matter why.  They did whatever they wanted and took whoever they wanted.  As for the main character, he can make a shield, fire energy shots, and later on, he can even fly," Zero replied.

“Fly? Reminds me of my friends, kinda,” Nadia says.

”I can fly when I lift myself with telekinesis,” Red mentions.

"I knew someone who could make wings and fly using those and someone who didn't need any special powers to fly..." Zero trailed off, trying not to think too much about either of the people he mentioned.

“I know a goddess, a speedster, a cloner, a shapeshifter that hates us, a genius scientist... my life is just crazy huh,” Nadia mutters that last part.

Zero stopped reading through the comic when he heard about the scientist.  Thinking about it reminded him of things he didn't want to remember, but he tried to keep those thoughts and feelings to himself.

“You okay?” Nadia asks Zero. Was it because she saw his face? Or did she just randomly ask?

"Huh?  Oh, sorry, it's just...whenever I hear of scientists, I think about my past, you know?  Because of the you know what." Zero replied.

“Oh. I’m sorry,” Nadia says. “The one I know is more into interdimensional travel than... experiments with people.”

"Interdimensional travel?" Zero asked, a bit confused.  While he understood the concept of other worlds and parallel worlds, it was the first he had heard of interdimensional travel.  At some point, he did hear of a document by a Mr. L that talked about a transdimensional world link by some futuristic superpower, but he wasn't sure of the specifics.

“Oh yeah. You know, the multiverse and it’s infinite realities,” Nadia says simply.

"Infinite realities.  Which means there might be a reality where all our pasts, presents, and futures are totally different.  Must be nice.  Maybe in another reality, I wouldn't have gotten the short end of the stick when it comes to the past," Zero said, mumbling the last part mostly to himself.

“In another reality, I might be the guy and you the girl!” Nadia says, giggling. “How interesting is it to think about that? Anything you imagine is real in an alternate reality... absolutely mind-blowing. Maybe stuff we couldn’t imagine is real in alternate realities, too!”

"To be honest, I can't really imagine a reality when I'm a girl.  But, wouldn't interdimensional travel be dangerous?  There would probably have to be a lot of measures put into mind, like not distorting the different realities or something," Zero said.

“The guy I knew does it whenever he wants. Though I’m not a scientist so I don’t know,” Nadia shrugs.

"Is that so?" Zero simply said, returning to his comic book when he thought he wouldn't really get much about how scientists thought.

Nadia nods, and returns to reading the comic with him. By now Red is floating over a new book to herself.

As Zero read the comic book, he couldn't help but think about what Nadia said earlier about alternate realities.  'Stuff I couldn't imagine is real is another reality, huh?  Maybe in another reality, I actually got to live a normal life...' he thought to himself.

When the two finish the comic, Nadia perks up. "Do you want to read more, or should we explore more of the club?" She asks.

Zero took a few moments to think it over and set down the comic.  "How about we explore more of the place," Zero replied.

“I’m cool with that. Where should we go next?” Nadia asks. “Far as I know there’s also the attic, basement, restaurant... maybe a few more options....”

"How about the restaurant?  It would be nice to get something to eat," Zero said.

“I’d like that,” Nadia says, walking towards the restaurant.

”Bye!” Red waves at them.

"It was nice meeting you, Red," Zero said, waving to Red and following Nadia out of the library.  Once agan, however, he couldn't help but turn his attention to where he found that one book that involved erasing memories.
