Luno's Office

Recommended Posts

Icarus started fixing his little briefcase up as the director got busy with writing the recommendation letter. He picked up each of the statistics paper he spread on the desk earlier and set them accordingly in the folders. His attention was drawn back to her when she stamped the seal on the letter. "Thank you so much ma'am! I am certain it will." He said in an excited tone receiving the letter from her.

Icarus stood up as his interview officially came to conclusion. "I am eagerly looking forward to work under you, ma'am. I hope the CEO will agree with you." he added with a smile putting the recommendation letter in the top compartment of his briefcase. He then looked up at the director, "Well, this was the best interview I ever had so far." A witty smirk curved up on the edge of his lips.

Luno smiled as she watched him pack up. "It was an absolute pleasure to interview you." She said, winking at him. "Don't be a stranger~ If you feel you are in need of a refresher on proper protocols, do stop by, won't you? I'd be delighted to retrain you~" The witch smiled and gave him a little wave. "I don't mean to kick you out but I do have other interviews to get to and it would be unfair to keep you all to myself."

Icarus' smirk slowly turned into a smile hearing her words, "I would love to, I will actually. Maybe I will swing by again after clocking out." His eyes fixated on her hues. His smile was slowly fading as lust was clouding up his mind again. He could really go for another kiss right now, or... maybe more. "Well, yeah, I should get on with the official stuffs too" Icarus chuckled snapping out of his thoughts after hearing her words. "Well, have a good day ma'am! I hope to run into you later again." he said with a warm smile before turning on his feet and approaching the door. While shuffling through the door he turned back once more and waved at her before walking out into the lobby.

It was about as good a time as any to head inside for his interview. He was unusre if it was his turn. He had taken the initiative to head inside with the only indication that it was his turn being that nbody else took that chance, and for Marn, that was more than enough. However, he wasn't above making sure. "Sorry, is it a good time right now?" The fire-headed male kindly asked what clearly seemed to be the one in charge here. "I don't wanna interrupt anything you might have... Or maybe I do, I'm not sure yet." If one was at least half-observant, they'd be able to notice Marn had a bit of a pant to him, mostly due to him still recovering from his "trial-run" back at the lobby. For now, he wouldn't ourigth disclose what this was all about, but Luno seemed like a smart enough gal, she could figure it out.

Luno was quietly sitting at her desk, a white rabbit in her arms as she looked over some new marketing proposals from her team. She looked to her little companion and slowly stroked his back. "It's going to be another great quarter, isn't it Lepus?" She cooed at him before looking up when she heard someone walking into her office. It was a bit surprising to see someone else in her office so soon. "Ah, I wasn't expecting anyone for another hour, but please come in." She said, quietly setting her rabbit on her floor. It hopped away and seemed to disappear behind a pillar.

She waved a finger in the air and the seat in front of her desk moved outwards so he could sit. "Hurry up, I don't have all day." She said flatly.

Luno had made it very clear, at least to Marn, that his jokes were not going to get him anywhere. He knew that unless he wanted to risk this job opportunity, he should probably cut that out for the time being. After being somewhat impressed by her little 'trick', Marn took his seat and took the moment to tidy himself up a bit more, not yet making eye contact with her. "Sorry, there wasn't anyone to tell me if I could come in or not."

The witch watched him approach, her face unreadable as he took his seat. She wasn't one for jokes; at least with those who weren't in her department or not yet an employee. And coming in as disheveled as he was was definitely not a great foot to start on with her. "I understand that things are less than...organized...at the moment..." She clicked her tongue at the lack of efficiency currently in the office and looked Marn over. "Please look at me when you're speaking to me." A brief thought flashed through her head, making her wonder if Marn would need to be subjected to 'training' as well.

Marn's eyes peered back up at hers, sticking to them like flies to honey. "I... apologise." Sure, she was a bit intimidating, but Marn practically oozed natural confidence. And thus, even in a situation like this, he still thought this was a surefire entry into the company. He, however, couldn't and wouldn't let her know that.

His hands grabbed onto the side of each arm, waiting for any questions. He had a feeling they weren't going to be as easy as he prepared them to be.

She crossed one leg over the other as she sipped at her tea and looked over his file. "So you are applying for our Human Resources Specialist position. It seems you have the work history and the references to prove that you are competent enough to do the job. It also looks to me that you have already taken advantage of our Sexual Release policies with the other interviewees. Now tell me, why do you want to work here? Other than the chance exploit the desires of your fellow employees..." She set down her little cup and leaned forward slightly, folding her fingers together under her chin as she awaited his response.

(So sorry for the wait!)

That question made Marn sweat a tad. Considering how little time had passed since he had done that, it was really surprising to him that word got out so fast. Yet again, he wasn't exactly doing a good job at hiding the fact some high energy "activities" were taking place before he got here. "Well, as you said, I believe myself to be someone rather qualified in my field. And I don't think it's too much of a stretch to call this idea your company has come up with...contorversial? And thus, I think someone like me, who has skills in my line of work, and trusts adamantly in the cause, is a great match. I want to work here because it's a great opportunity for me to work in this rather unique environment that I agree with, and for you, since I'm sure I'm one of the few people in the human resources line of work that'll come anywhere near a place like this."

He was happy with his answer. But he wasn't the person he had to make happy.

(You're fine. I'm just now getting to all my replies.))

Luno's lips parted in an amused smile. "You're right. It is a controversial addition to the standard policies, but it is quite effective. You'd be surprised by the number of applicants we receive." She slowly stood from her seat and walked around to the other side of her desk, passing behind him and dragging her fingertip gently up along the back of his neck. "Hmm." Her fingers slid up into his hair with her index twirling around a lock of it and tugging. "Funny how you seem so eager to work here, yet you refer to the company as 'a place like this'~" She said before leaning down and  brushing her lips against the top of his ear, smirking to herself. "I work very closely with my employees as you would imagine. And it would deeply affect me to know you think so lowly of Ms. Grail's business if you were to be hired..."

Marn's eyes continued to stick to her figure. His pupils would not and could not leave her sight. That, as he would come to learn in his young adulthood, was a sign of weakness. Once she had taken her stand behind him, and started messing with his hair, well, there wasn't much he could do there, except just try to hold on to his business-face. Despite being in what was supposed to be a very uncomfortable position, Marn couldn't help but let his lips curl into a bit of a impish smirk.

"I would never mean to imply anything like that." His breath would stammer with excitement. "I can see how it might have come off, and I apologize for that. However, if you need me to show you how dedicated I can be to this job and how closely I tend to work with people as well in a different manner, I'd be happy to show you. I hold my belief that I can definitely be an asset to you."
