Dahl is leaning against the wall as he gazes out into the jungle,  chewing on his cigar. His long blond-white mustache waves gently as a breeze as a puff of smoke from his cigar blows away.

With a quick and sudden movement, Dahl draws his pistol from it's holster and steadies himself into a crouch. After a moment, he holsters his sidearm and leans against the wall. Again, like lightening, he draws his pistol and crouches. He grins before holstering the weapon and lets out another puff of smoke.

His green military shirt is only half buttoned and his exposed broad chest is covered in a thick blond hair. The cuffs of the shirt are rolled up past his elbow exposing the thick muscles of his forearms to the sun. A small mammal skirted through the brush but Dahl didn't look at it.

Dahl glanced in the direction of Marie and gave her a nod, then grinned one of his wide grins that hinted at something about him was not quite normal. He'd heard the rumors of how crazy he could be, and he didn't think they were too wrong about him. He just didn't care.

"Expecting some anti-aircraft fire are you?" he asked of Marie.

Dahl grinned even wider and said, "Nothing. Nothing at all."

Dahl thought it was pretty silly. Not like it would protect against bullets or petty much anything. But maybe the bots had something, or she just liked the weight of it. He'd known soldiers like that, always had to have their lucky charm or favorite boots. No skin off his nose.

"You shoot pistols?" he asked, nodding his head towards the makeshift targets someone had put up. Dahl thought that that was pretty silly too - enemy rarely just stood there waiting to be shot.

Dahl paid attention this time, and without asking he put his hands on her hips and shifted them slightly then kicked her boot so her foot turned in the right direction.

Standing behind her, he put his arms around her and lifted her elbows, pulling them into her body to provide better support to her arms.

"Try that," he said, removing his arms so they wouldn't get in the way.

Dahl prepped the French made Skylark, nodding to the machine gun mount he'd had installed some years before. The Skylark was a light duty helicopter that had recently become a favorite in the Foreign Legion.

"You believe I won this in a card game?" he asked Marie over the whine of the engines. . He hadn't of course - he'd been on it when it crashed and been deemed unrecoverable. He'd spent the better part of a year fixing her up. With a grin, his cigar unlit but hanging out of his mouth, hit flipped a couple switches and put a headset on, and made a whirling motion with his finger indicating that all passengers should be secure as they were about to take to the air.
