Another chance - Ranna and Kappei

Recommended Posts

"Granted I have no experience with taking yours, but I would like to think after four years of frequent sex, I have some idea of such things.  The only times I have been disappointed, there were more issues than size."  Reiko responded casually, even friendly you could say.  After being a student here for several years, almost nobody felt any shame casually talking about this sort of thing.  Talking about sex was as natural as any other topic of everyday conversation, not just with a friend, she could have talked like with a stranger just as easily.

"Will you two just get it over with and do it here already?"  Ranna could not stay quiet anymore after that.  Granted she wanted to see that even less, but she could look away easier than trying not to hear what they were saying.  At this point she don't think they could double down any worse in response to what they said.

Kappei had been giving Reiko a rather pitying look as she spoke about her sex life. An excellent lover with a big penis would always be better than an excellent lover with a small penis. She was his best friend and he had always treated her like a younger sister, so the idea of having sex didn't really have any appeal to it and he was pretty sure Reiko felt the same way. Her little sister, though, didn't seem to understand this.

"I'm sorry, Ranna. We didn't mean to exclude you from the conversation." He smiled at her and placed a hand on her slim shoulder. She was such a cute, precious little girl. It was a little mean, but considering how much she had been acting up all day, teasing her a little was okay. "What do you think? Is having a big penis better than having a small one?"

It was not like Reiko fantasized about sex with Kappei or anything like that, but if circumstances led to them having to do it for some reason, for example to put on a show to distract the passengers, she was sure she could do it without hesitation and would enjoy it.  But it was not something she would try to randomly or casually do, and also would not do it just because Ranna misunderstood why they were talking like that.  "This is just how friends talk, Ranna.  You'll see what I mean, probably sooner rather than later."  It would be a little while still, after new students ended their orientation and her classmates had been doing it for a bit, but eventually at least a few classmates were likely to try to talk to her about such things.

Ranna glared at Kappei.  Okay, she should have seen that coming.  That was the one way it could get worse.  "Yes, ask the 'girl' who is a virgin and has no desire to screw boys and find out.  That makes so much sense.  Maybe small enough I couldn't feel it."  She ignored what Reiko said, not wanting to believe it, but at the same time it would surprise her if it was true.

Listening to the young girl's ranting, he chuckled, wondering if Reiko also had noticed what her little sister had just done. He had asked her if a big penis or a small one was better, and instead of thinking about it from a boy's perspective, she had immediately thought of it from a girl's perspective. Sure, she had probably just made the assumption because of her mistrust in him and Reiko, but that didn't make it any less funny.

Despite Ranna blurting out that she was a virgin and acting like a lightning rod for people with bad intentions, nobody in the trolley really paid them much attention. The naive little girl really was lucky and almost seemed to have some higher deity watching over her or something.

With nothing of note happening, the train arrived at their intended destination less than ten minutes after they had boarded it.

Reiko noticed, but it was the sort of thing Ranna had said to her before.  Sarcastically referring to herself as a girl, in response to being treated as one.  It perhaps said more than Ranna realized, but it was still far from her truly acknowledging herself as a girl.  She was less concerned with Ranna admitting her virginity too.  She had not said it that loudly, and anyone looking at her was going to guess she was one anyway more likely than not.  She was obviously too young to have a lot of experience at least.  “Just keep an open mind, Ranna.”  That was the sort of thing she usually said to Ranna’s rejection of considering that.

”Maybe I should just kick you in the balls.  I could tolerate ‘touching’ them like that.”  Ranna said after a sigh, only somewhat tempted to actually do it.  It was hard to imagine he meant the question differently.  Of course, even if she tried to answer it as a boy, she had very limited experience to judge how much it mattered.  Even if it had felt good, there had been too much awkwardness and unease in her sex with Franca and Ranna had no idea how much size impacted it for her.

There wasn't a guy in the world that thought having a small penis would be preferable to having a large one. So no, if she had truly thought of herself as a guy, then the answer would have been: Yes, having a big dick is better than having a smaller one.

But Ranna had not been thinking like this; instead, she had surmised that he was referring to her being on the receiving end of one.

"You can try that if you want when I teach you how to fight properly." Kappei told Ranna as the three of them climbed off the trolley. Her comment really did make her deserve a good spanking. How did Reiko punish her little sister anyway when they were younger?

Whatever, Ranna was not going to let this conversation dwell on her, when she was about to meet new people.  She was not as optimistic as Reiko was, but she was going to try to give it a fair chance and not let the process be impacted by unrelated things.  “I just might, you should remember that.”  That was the last she had to say about that for now.  She took a deep breath to try to clear her mind as she Reiko off the train.

If you asked Ranna, Reiko’s attempts to get her to embrace her femininity was punishment enough.  Granted it was relatively rare that Ranna really needed to be punished, she complained a lot, talked back a lot, but it was not that often that she needed to do anything other than lecture her sister.  Of course she was careful not to intentionally punish her in a way that she would reinforce negative associations about such things.  If anything, it tended to something closer to grounding or making her do extra chores.

She led the way inside, down the halls to where the team usually practiced.  “We are a little early, will be interesting to see how many of the girls are already there.”

Letting Reiko take the lead, Kappei followed the two sisters as they made their way towards the building and entered it. If you were to ask him, he'd say that threatening to attack a person without any good reason should have at least earned Ranna a stern lecture. But Reiko really was soft on her, showering her with love and bending over backwards to try to make her happy and more comfortable.

"I'll just take a seat over here." Kappei told Reiko, gesturing to one of the long benches outside of the room the club used for practice. He had no intention of interfering with the meeting or getting involved more than he had to.

If Reiko had thought there was any chance Ranna would have actually done it, she might have stepped in.  Ranna was just venting out of embarrassment of her misunderstanding and annoyance at the laughing.  It was also important to avoid having her in too poor a mood for this meeting.  If this went well, it would benefit everyone, her, Ranna and Kappei.  What Ranna needed most was someone she could relax around.  With her, there was trust, but also complications of a sibling relationship and one where Reiko had been forced to act as a semi-parent.  With Kappei there was the whole boy/girl issue, and talk about marriage/relationships.  Even if it was pretend, it was not that surprising it confused her and would take time for her to start to trust him.

Ranna was somewhat relieved Kappei stayed out.  Mostly she just did not want him to complicate things by introducing himself as her fiancé or stuff like that.  Not having to worry about that made this easier.

A few minutes later the first girl showed up.  “Ah, captain!  You are already here.”  She said, saluting, a little joke she always had done, treating Reiko as a different sort of captain.  Ranna guessed the girl, taller, thin, short black hair, was probably a year or two older than her.  The girl walked up and looked over Ranna.  “So, this is your little sister.”  She nodded slowly “Yes, she’s got that look.  Maybe a little rusty, but definitely has experience in this area.”  She put her hand on Ranna’s shoulder.  “Name’s Umi.  Welcome to the team.”

Andrea rolled her eyes at Umi's introduction and her assessment of the kid. She had the look? What look? Maybe you would have been able to tell by looking at her body if the girl had been in her underwear, a leotard, or at least some form-fitting sportswear, but dressed in her uniform like this, it was impossible.

They had all been rescued by Captain Reiko though, so paying lipservice to her little sister was only natural. Considering how often their Captain bragged about her, it almost felt like they already knew her. She was a headstrong little tomboy, but she was neither crass nor crude, but rather gentle and demure.

At times, Reiko's description of her younger sister had seemed more than a little biased, but seeing her in person for the first time, Andrea could at least confirm that she was ridiculously cute and pretty.

"Name's Reyes, Andrea Reyes." She introduced herself, giving the little girl a warm smile. "I've heard a lot of good things about you. Looking forward to working with you."

Reiko stepped back, to let the girls introduce themselves as they showed up.  Her plan, at least for most of this, was not to say anything unless someone said something to her.  Better to let them all form their opinions of her.  Reiko had told them enough that she did not need to say more.  She had also mentioned the curse previously, if only so there were no surprises later.  But she explained it more like a girl who occasionally had a boy’s body.  To be fair, that was a pretty accurate explanation of what she considered Ranna at this point, the trick was to make Ranna realize it too.

Ranna was more worried about being the one to set a bad impression now.  It was probably the friendliest introduction she had on campus so far, at least that did not have other awkwardness tied to it.  She was going to be working with these girls for awhile too, up to several years, depending on their ages.  “Yeah, me too.”

”Seems a little more shy than I would have guessed.”  Umi noted.  “You are new here though, not the first or last to be overwhelmed by this place at first.  The others should be here rather soon.  What do you think, Andrea?  We might not do initiations the way other teams do, but after everyone is here and has introduced themselves, we should do something.”  Especially for Reiko’s sister.  It seemed like they should do something to try to relax Ranna and really make her part of the team.

Andrea raised an eyebrow. Considering how everyone acted at the academy, it was pretty hard to avoid the corruption that oozed from the place. She herself came from a deeply religious family that practiced celibacy, so life at school was really difficult for her.

"Ah! How about karaoke?" Mirella suggested loudly, raising her hand to call attention to herself.

"Denied!" Andrea said, shooting down the other girl's idea. "There's no karaoke room to fit the entire club, and you should introduce yourself before you jump into the conversation!"

Mirella scratched the back of her head and gave everyone a sheepish look. "Sorry. My name is Mirella Bianchi, and I'm Captain Reiko's secret lover!"

Andrea bopped Mirella on the top of her head. Who'd believe a joke like that? Mirella was scared of all sorts of intimacy. Even shaking another person's hand would make her break out in hives. But this was how it was with everyone in this club. For one reason or another, academy life was hell for them.

Umi had to admit, she was probably one of the more ‘tainted’ members here, as far as that sort of thing went.  But she followed Reiko’s rules, did not try anything like that here on club time, and avoided even talking it much, unless someone else brought it up.  She was here mostly for love of the sport, also to sort of help Reiko support the others to a degree.  That said, while she was less bothered by it than most of her teammates, she still tended to feel overwhelmed by the pressure to do it constantly and with everyone.  She was a little curious about Ranna, or the impact of the curse on her at least, but she was not going to say anything about that too soon.  “Trying to open up several of us with that idea, Mirella?”  As she felt a presence behind her.

Ranna might have been shy at the moment, but that did not compare to one of the other members.  Umi turned around.  “Come on, you have to do this too, at least in your sort of way.”  She pushed another girl towards Ranna, the girl was silent, nervously fidgeted around, refused to make eye contact.  “This is Rina Myers.  Don’t be too concerned with how she’s acting.  This is just how she is.  None of us have heard her say a word yet.”  From what Umi heard from Reiko, apparently no one on campus had heard speak.  Reiko was not sure whether she got enrolled due to grades or family connections.  Either way the poor girl hated social interaction, it was obvious she needed some protection from how she would have been used otherwise.  Rina just nodded then broke off, trying to stay behind everyone else.

”Anyway…hmm, club slumber party?  I’m just brainstorming here, keep throwing out any ideas the rest of you have.”  Umi thew one idea out just to do her part to contributing in the suggestions.  She did feel they should do something, but she had not thought about it a head of time and was not sure what the best idea was.

Ranna had relaxed somewhat, but was mostly listening, at least until everyone had introduced themselves and probably until this surprise welcoming party of sorts was planned.  They did seem friendly enough, but it would be interesting to what was decided, she could not think of anything to suggest either.

"No, I'm telling you Rina. You are too much of a chatterbox! You should just try to be more direct, like pow! Like that!" Furtively glancing in Mirella's direction, Andrea could see the ponytailed girl making a demonstrative karatechop in the air as she was having an animated conversation with the other problem child. It was a common sight; the animated Mirella was having a one-sided conversation with the quiet Rina, flinching or dodging if the girl got too close to her. Sometimes she felt like she was a zoo-keeper, taking care of a bunch of wild animals. And the worst one out of the bunch wasn't even here yet.

"No, as much as it pains me to admit, I think Mirella was still on the right track." Andrea said, noting how the girl immediately perked up at the mention of her name. Umi was as bad as the rest of them. She might have thought she was helping out and that she was just there because she loved the sport, but in her own special way, she was as awkward as the rest of them. "What we need to do is..."

"Invite some boys." An apathetic voice with a heavy accent said. The worst girl had just joined them. The former child soldier, Kalyna Popova.

"Boys can cum and play with us." Kalyna elaborated. Mirella visibly shuddered. Born in a warzone, Kalyna was the only surviving member of her family. The girl was completely asexual but had this idea that the best way forward was to adapt and do what other people did. She was exactly the type of girl that would have just let anyone use her and just lay there doing nothing.

"Absolutely, categorically, one hundred percent denied!" Andrea told the newly arrived girl and bopped her on top of her head.

Umi shook her head at that last one.  That girl’s mind was hard to figure out, though that was somewhat understandable with her past.  Umi was the only one there who might have thought that sounded fun at all…if she was with a different group of girls.  This bunch was never going to want that though, and she could only try to guess what Ranna would think about something like that.  She thought she some discomfort on Ranna’s face before being relieved it was rejected.  “Like I said before you showed up, Kalyna, the idea is to do something NOT like other teams’ initiations…Rina’s not going to have any ideas, not that she would share at least, Mirella is distracted with her too now, that leaves just two us thinking about this.  What were you trying to suggest, Andrea?”  She was still trying to think of things, but maybe Andrea already had a good idea.  It was really up to the two of them it appeared.

Rina supposed Mirella was trying to be friendly, but she was still uncomfortable.  She preferred to be alone.  She did her part to practice, but was not ready for public performance, and tried to avoid being noticed by the others.  She considered it a no win situation, it was not that she did not want friends, but the idea of even trying to interact with others could best be described as intense fear, but even that was not quite how she would put it, she found it hard to explain even to herself.  The most she could do was answer yes or no questions with a nod or shake of her head. All she could do was humor the other girl by listening and hoping something else distracted her.

More members of the club were still arriving, apologizing to Reiko for being late, and then walking up to Ranna to introduce themselves.

One of those members was one of Reiko's first recruits, Sandy Flores. She was a tall, very buxom girl, only half a year younger than Reiko herself, but she still had this motherly feeling about her. Unlike Reiko, she wasn't very smart, but her family was rich and she was already engaged to get married to her childhood sweetheart when she left the academy. Her childhood friend was the son of her father's best friend. A year older than her, he had now started working at her father's company. Better yet, he was an honest person that had never attended the academy.

"Welcome to the club!" She told Ranna with a warm smile, stuffing some hard wrapped candy into her hands. Her big dream was to get married to the love of her life and have a big family. She loved dotting on children and wanted several of her own as soon as possible.

The last one followed behind Sandy.  Ranna noticed the girl seemed to study her in an odd way.  Examining her...checking her for something?  Then a small nod.  She stepped forward and took Ranna's hand.  "Akari Moriyama.  You have my sympathy, Ranna.  It must have been a difficult childhood."  Ranna tilted her head in confusion, about to ask what she meant before Umi grabbed the girl's collar and yanked her back.  "What are you doing, Akari?  Stop trying to scare the new girl."  Akari turned to Umi.  "Everything Reiko said about her must be true.  To think she was burdened by such a curse so young."  Umi dragged her over to Reiko, trying to avoid unnecessary weirdness.  "Talk to the captain, instead of making things weird."  She walked back over to the crowd.  "Okay, I am going to repeat it again for the late comers.  We should come up with something to make Ranna feel welcome here, something NOT like other teams' initiations.  Do we have any new ideas?"

All in all, with Ranna included, there were now fifteen members of the gymnastics team. Most of the youngest members had already introduced themselves, leaving mostly only those that had one or two more years at the academy.

Sandy smiled at Ranna, noting how similar she was to her big sister. While Reiko was pretty tall now and looked like a supermodel, she had been just a petite little girl during her first two years at the academy. Being one of the first members in the club, Sandy had made friends with the other girl prior to her rather strange and sudden growth spurt

"I know I'm nothing compared to your big sister, but don't hesitate to ask me for advice if you ever need any." Sandy told Ranna, blocking out Umi and Akari's shenanigans. Those girls were so wild. She had to reign them in several times since they joined the club, stopping them from doing silly things they would only live to regret later in life.

Meanwhile, as Sandy was still talking with Ranna, effectively blocking the rest of the club from introducing itself, Andrea had grabbed both Umi and Akari by the scruff of their necks.

"Stop being such a nuisance, both of you!" Umi causing trouble was par for the course, but she had been having higher hopes for Akari. Honestly, that was not a proper introduction at all.

"As I was saying, the idea isn't good, but it isn't bad either." She gave Umi a hard stare. That girl should just stay quiet. The more she tried to help and control people around her, the worse things got. She simply wasn't leadership material. "We should just keep it simple. Simple is best. So let's just have a normal party with food and music in this room."

Umi was rather visibly irritated but kept her mouth shut.  It was fortunate she was mature enough that she did not want to cause a scene and hurt the atmosphere or cause a bad first impression.  She wanted to ask what could possibly have been wrong with what she had been doing.  Granted it was an unusual group, but asking everyone for ideas could have come up with something interesting, at least as long as few members were ignored.  There was nothing really wrong with such a simple solution, now being offered, but it felt more boring and less memorable than it could have been.  But she would just shut up until she calmed down enough not to snap at being ‘punished’ for something that was causing no trouble.

”You don’t understand.  Neither of you do.  Maybe the captain does, just a little. But that is better, I suppose, nobody should.”  Akari on the other hand was not interested in being silent.  Though she was being vague as she sometimes was.  With many subjects of conversation, she would have seemed like an ordinary girl.  But she could get into these weird moods at times, sometimes predictably, sometimes not, and it was a waste to expect her to elaborate much, as Akari got increasingly uncomfortable the harder anyone pushed for details.  After a few times, Umi at least gave up trying to figure it out, just waiting to see if Akari would finally spell it out on her own eventually.

Ranna was a little curious what Akari was trying to say, that was not something she had expected from anyone here.  Though that would have to wait for another day.  Instead she focused on Sandy, though she was not sure what to think about the comparisons to Reiko.  “Ah, thanks.  It does seem to be an interesting group.”  She had been a little curious to see where that brainstorming might have, but then, there was uncertainty over whether or not it led to something a little too overwhelming or strange for her.

Considering the make-up of the club, brainstorming was one of the last things they wanted. Andrea kept her temper in check, tempted as she was to smack Umi over the head. A fat lot of that would do anyway; the girl simply didn't understand how much trouble she was causing other people.

"Maybe we could make it a dress-up party?" A red-haired girl suggested. A year older than Andrea herself, Madeline Alaire was a mellow girl that was easy to get along with. Originally a member of the theater group, she had been in charge of the group's costumes but had quit because of creative differences. Andrea wouldn't label the girl a pervert, but her obsession with clothes and dressing up other people could be a bit bothersome at times.

"Oh, they are all nice girls." Sandy smiled, her eyes closed as she thought of all her precious friends in the club. It was going to be their last year at the academy for many of them, but Sandy planned to keep in touch with all of them even after she was married.

Umi was still being quiet out of silent protest.  Sure, not everyone would have great ideas, as proven by one of the earlier suggestions, but it certainly was not a bad idea for a team to welcome a new member, and as a team matter, multiple opinions were worth considering.  But she was still too irritated bout being treated like she somehow did something wrong.  That trying to be friendly and helpful was somehow an issue.

Akari was somewhat shaken out of her previous mood.  Back to herself without a word.  Pretending, probably, like she had not said any of the things she previously said.  She nodded along to the new idea.  “Yes, that could be fun.  Could even break up into small groups shopping for the stuff.”  Maybe at least something already had stuff worth wearing to such a thing, but even if they did, it could be fun to find more.  “Maybe could also find out if Rina is here because she is rich or not, depending on what she wears.”  Akari was not especially nosy about Rina, but it was hard not to be a little curious about someone so mysterious.  She was self aware enough to also know how it would look if she was too pushy about it.

Ranna thought it was too soon to say anything for sure about how nice they were or not.  The first impression was better than she feared it could have been, but she needed a little more time, to get to know them a little better, to know whether she might consider any of them friends later.  “So what’s the story here?  I get Reiko went out her way to recruit a certain sort of girl.  To intentionally avoid all that sex we see everywhere else.  Not that I’m complaining about that, but it seems like the sort of thing you would build a different sort club than a sport team around.  Even if she wanted to be supportive, I don’t really get the logic.”  She could completely get it, and she thought it would more interesting to try to get an answer from someone other than Reiko on that.

Sandy was a bit surprised by Ranna's question, having been under the impression that Reiko had already explained everything to her little sister. Before she could answer though, another girl walked up to them and butted into the conversation.

"That's because such a club would just draw too much attention." Her long black hair framing a set of sharp green eyes, she had a somewhat dangerous feel about her. "I'm Hannah Davis, and you are as tiny as Reiko told us, I see."

She chuckled, ignoring Sandy's apologetic motions. She was a rather straight-forward girl that was often misunderstood as being meanspirited due to her sharp eyes and dry humor.

"Ummu... It is like Hannah says." Sandy confirmed, looking a bit worried as she glanced at Ranna and Hannah. Both of them were such nice girls, so she wanted them to try to be friends if possible.

Ranna was only partially convinced by that.  She understood it to an extent, but was it really that much easier to hide as a sport team?  It seemed like word would have gotten out eventually, if only from one or boys who had no luck in going after girls on the team.  There was also the issue that it seemed like that would draw attention for hurting the team’s overall performance, were all of them really athletic enough, skilled enough in these things, to avoid suspicion?  “No…I mean I get that.  It just still seems a little too easy for it to actually work, if that was the idea.  We really get no one checking on that sort of thing, or complaining it isn’t happening?”

Perhaps it was for the better her personality was fairly similar to the other. That was something could be either good or bad, depending on the individuals and circumstances.  In this case she did not take offense “Oh, and I’m only sometimes this short, as she should have also told all of you.”  She was not sure how far she wanted to go into the ‘boy or girl’ question, but it was pointless to ignore completely.

"That's because we set up a burlesque show!" A red-haired girl interjected, interrupting their conversation again.

"No, that's definitely not it. We just do gymnastics!" Sandy insisted, a shocked expression on her face. The new girl just ignored Sandy's denial and winked at Ranna.

"It's exactly because our club doesn't provide those things that we can exist." The girl continued explaining, her voice a slow drawl. "People come to watch our performances because that is the only thing they will ever get."

Ranna was not sure what to make of that girl’s joke, or what she assumed was a joke.  It was almost more believable, that or the idea that a few of the girls did ‘favors’ outside of club time to distract those who would care.  Granted at least most of them seemed as uncomfortable with that idea as her, though for different reasons than her, but at least one or two seemed potentially willing as well.  She would not have even put it past Reiko to do that for the sake of the others, though she did not want to dwell too much on that idea.

While she was sure Reiko was also helping the other girls because she wanted to and for their own sakes, she had to wonder if part of the goal was this.  To pre-gather such a group of girls for her sake.  She would have not considered such a thought egotistical, that was just how far she knew Reiko could go.  “I guess I’ll take your word on that over her’s for now…I know what Reiko is trying to do by putting me on this team.  Fine, we’ll see if it is any more successful than her other ideas.”  The others had been welcoming so far, she did not know how much closer she would get to some or all of them.  She was still cautious, but it was not like she did not want friends.  She was willing to at least give this a real chance.
