Miana arrived in the war room, and she would see that the papers she requested were on the table like she had asked them to be. She picked up the document and her crimson eyes scanned the contents that were laid out in them.

It was rare that anything would get so drastically low that it would become of any concern to her. But she made a point to check the report just in case. Miana always felt that the one day she skipped the report would always be rhe one that required her attention the most. She let out a sigh of relief when she finished looking through it and she went to file it away.

While waiting around had been fine and dandy, it wasn't necessarily his ideas of fun. Toshiro was supposed to be expected, maybe not by a grandiose welcoming committee or by anyone who could have been higher on the pecking order, but still he was scheduled to be here... About five years ago. With what there being possible heat between perhaps another Coven or even this one becoming lax, it was still rude to keep one waiting. Toshiro at the time had business in Tarence- a large and popular city several days from Spruce Moore, and after his leaving there was a major power gap which allowed the right kind of Coven leader to do their job and break the criminal organization there. They were quite rude too, but they also have their heads removed with silver.

Walking through the halls and looking through the various big rooms, Toshiro was surprised that he had not seen a single soul save for a servant or two who seemed to be doing cleaning. He avoided them of course, not wanting to be a bother to them, but still he moved forward until he picked up footsteps in his hearing. He stopped and turned a corner to find an open door with light coming from it. A bedroom perhaps? No, there were bedrooms on the other side of the building, maybe it was a launder room? With little to no regard, the White Fang moved onward wanting to at least talk to someone in this labyrinth!

Upon reaching the light, Toshiro composed himself and knocked on the doorframe. He said in a soft voice that was vocal enough for one to hear clearly, "Hello? I am in need of assistance if anyone is in there."

The Fangs tone was calm, relaxed and quite approachable. So was his demeanor if one would indulge in reading his emotion- an empath in short. But he had hoped he truly was not bothering anyone. The issue was, he didn't feel out the air nor decide to prod around sending everything, he wasn't necessarily getting any dangerous feelings of the place so there was no need to be on the defensive.

Miana had just filed away her reports and she heard the knocking. She turned and would approach the door to the room and open it. Upon doing so she saw another vampire standing before her. She could sense this one was older than she was, which was rare now a days. Especially when since long ago a great war hunted most vampires down and killed them among other things. Most of the ones who survived such war were closer to her age as far as she knew.

"ah a new comer. How may I help you,"  she asked him as she stood opposite of the doorway from him.  Her crimson eyes taking in the details of this one and committing them to memory so she could recognize him at a later time.

Backing away just a few steps as the mistress of the castle stepped out, Toshiro gave a quick bow in apology and replies, "Forgive the intrusion, ma'am. I am looking for one Miana Blackthorne? I am... A bit late for an interview- or rather a simple meeting so to say."

Toshiro was polite but he was possibly holding onto the "old ways" as some of the you get vampires called it. However he wasn't the casual Joe or someone who treated their employer like another equal individual. But first impressions always last for the most part, and this was a showcase of it. When Toshiro spoke his words seemed quiet, but they were like the cool wind that the skin happily greeted. He had a slight smile that could be seen under the neck cloth, and his eyes looked as calm as could be.

The Fang could now sense the woman's energy, or rather her presence at that. She seemed old, not as old as he was but certainly it was impressive. Most older vampires were hunted down in the old days they say, and only the younger one's existed save for those who were only a few hundreds years old. That was, to Toshiro they were young.

"Well I am Miana Blackthorne herself, and curious you say that. I have no meetings planned for the week. Well except any random meetings that may come up due to some pesky mutts I have squatting in the forest that I own." she said just before she gestured for the new comer to come in and sit down. "Come and sit, and we can talk." she said backing her gesture up. She quickly cast a small spel that pulled one of the chairs out for this unexpected guest.

The lazy eyelids rose just barely at the realization that this was indeed Miana Blackthorne. Toshiro bowed deeper now and rose back up in sincere apology. He assumed that this was an underling, but from.what he's heard the Blackthorne Coven we're done of the more powerful families in the modern world. He assumed that Miana would be much older, then again, he shouldn't have had high expectations. Still it was an honorable visit to the castle.

"My sincerest apologies, Mistress Miana," Toshiro stated, then walked into the room and took his seat. Once Miana herself was placed wherever she felt comfortable Toshiro continued, "My name is Ito Toshiro. It was a meeting about five years ago, March the Third, I was scheduled to come here all of the way from Alaska but I had my hands tied with last minute interferences. I'm not certain if you knew of my duties as a White Fang, but I was... Clearing out some unwanted guests. Plenty of them actually, Coven feuds tend to become all chaotic of the sorts. There's not many of my kind left in the world so the problems I had sort of stayed awhile."

While one may put it off as some excuse, the fact that Toshiro mentioned that he was a White Fang was no easy set of words at all. An assassin, specialists in all manners of sword and fighting skills, to add White Fangs were masters of illusionary works. For a vampire to say it so casually underestimated the actual rank, White Fangs have been around since the founding of the second generation of Vampiric Covens, they were essentially the personal grin reapers of Coven Patriarchs and Matriarchs. It was a high and esteemed rank, one honorable and feared, but Toshiro pressed on as of it were no matter at all.

"I remember you mentioning that you were in conflict with this Midnight Pack. I apologize of I am late by a massive margin, this scuffle led from one operation to the next. Hopefully I am not too late to be under your employment?"

"Your duties as a white fang? Honestly I have never heard of a white fang in my entire life. And although I would like my land back, the mutts have been less problematic than when they first arrived thankfully." Miana said as she took a seat in her chair. She looked over to Toshiro as she spoke to him. "Their first leader was so problematic that I had to send him to the Void Realm. All because the brute was insistent on cleansing the land of humans and vampire alike. Killing random townsfolk, it was so bad that the humans began making hunting clans that specifically hunted our kinds. Which I could not have that kind of trouble around." Miana reminisced about the past of when the werewolves first showed up in the forest of her region. She was thankful that now they were much less aggressive and were smart enough to know the value in staying under the radar.

"After all you probably know how hard it can be to  make humans think they got all of you. They are stubborn individuals. I would feel nothing for them if I wasn't half human myself." She continued. As she spoke a thrall arrived and poured Miana a cup of tea.

"Would you like any tea sir?" The thrall asked Toshiro as the thralls were trained to show hospitality to the upmost degree. Miana picked up her tea and took a sip from the golden colored brewed beverage. It was made perfectly to her preferences, after all with how much time most of these thralls spent here it would be a surprise if they had not figured it out yet.

"Ahhh, I see," Toshiro said taking the tea and giving his thanks to the thrall showing the same level of politeness as he shown Miana, "Well then! It's good to know you're not at full-on war. Forgive me I have an odd habit of assuming the worst of situations!"

Toshiro took a sip of his gold brewed tea, he didn't bother with sugar as that tends to take away from the actual flavour. When he had spike it almost seemed like he was relieved, but he didn't press on the matter. Clearing his throat the Fang said, "Though their numbers far outweigh the vampire and even the werewolves I have no worry of Humans. I was there during the purge in our history, my master was wise enough to avoid the whole conflict in it's own. To see all manners of vampires eradicated was... Not sure what the word was. Ehm- If you've lost some from that time I apologize. But from where I was trained vampires practically ruled the Human world behind the commanding emperor's and leaders, much like a shadow government if you will. There were no "good" undead lord's where I was, so I've only ever seen the ugliest sides of our kind, that of course were why the White Fangs were made."

Toshiro took another sip, cocking his head up slightly and looking at the ceiling, "We were the one's who evened the playing field, assassin's and spies, we were considered some of the deadliest vampires not because of power or magic, but because of raw skill. When one apple is spoiling the bunch we are sent to throw it out.  When a Duke- mind you this actually happened- decided to slaughter countless villages I and a few of our brothers and sisters were sent to handle him. The bastard treated his... Thralls? Is that what you call them? Anyway I'm getting off topic. That same vampire met his end by my sword, him and his whole family. We couldn't leave witnesses either, so any thrall or guest that were there met a quick and painless end."

Toshiro then looked back to Miana after setting his glass of tea down, "I don't blame the Human's, and I have a respect for them, after all I was one at one point... Do please forgive me! I tend to go on storytelling-! Not necessarily supposed to but it happens on occasion!"

"Vampires, Elves, Dwarves, Taewari, that purge was a horrible time. Anything non-human they drove to eradication or near it." she said. Miana put her tea aside her mind going back many centuries to the bloody years so long ago. " I remember that day quite vividly. I had recieved word from on of my servants that my mother who had moved to the Lasteran Capital after my father died. To be honest I didn't understand why she could not stay here with me. But on the Day of Crimson Rivers she was dragged out of her home and beheaded. Just because she was an elf.  When they came for me here because I was a 'half breed' the had not known I was already turned to a vampire for some time. My parents tried to hide it obviously. They caught us by surprise me and my Husband the one who turned me. He was killed but I managed to place a curse of enthrallment on the soldiers. Made them report back that I was slain. And released them. Well they never knew I released them. I buried my husband in the forest because he was fond of it. But now it seems I can not even get close to his burial site because if I try I usually get attacked." her voice spoke with obviously strong emotions being supprressed behind them. She let out a sigh as she took another sip from her tea. "But you are right, thinking of rhe past and how different things could have been, it does no good in the present. As for employment I don't really have a need to employ what services you might have. But, I do offer my home as a safe haven for vampires. As long as one does to give away our presence here or lure and humans her to discover our presence then we should be fine. After all I would hate to have to deal with a mob of humans."

And there was, the stark contrast between two different pasts and experiences. Though Toshiro was there for the majority of the purge him.and his master, and the other students and Fangs avoided a great deal except for those on duty. His own judgement of Vampires and other undead of the likes was set in stone, though he was one as well, he didn't consider himself evil despite the spilt blood dealt before. While others remained hidden to avoid conflict with Human's, he remained hidden for the kill, that was the cast difference.

With a sigh and pulling his face cloth down again for a sip of tea, he has a slight smile on his face, Toshiro leaned back and said in his soft voice, "I'm sorry to hear that, my wife was killed in the purge... Albeit for different reasons. The only family I had were my mother and father, farmers and cultivators back during... Well, a little past five hundred A.D. in the Colony of Kuguryo. After my becoming I was sort of forced to becoming a sailor by Master Agito to prevent me accidentally killing them, so whatever currency I had I always sent it to my parents until their dying day. I took whatever valuables we're there for sentimental value and always kept them with me ever since, I sold my parents farmland to my cousin who put it to good use. But... I'm getting off topic aren't I?"

Toshiro sets his teacup down and pulls his face cloth back up over his nose. The thing almost hugged his skin tightly, possibly an elastic product that didn't bother him, "If I'm being honest, I met my wife about ten years before the purge, beautiful woman only that... Well... She happened to be a Luna for a wolves pack," The Fang let that settle in, naturally Vampires and Werewolves were enemies but this didn't seem to be a case, "Her pack wasn't very accepting of me at all but it was her word over theirs, so as to protect me from potential attacks I had built a house just outside of their territory. In time they trusted me enough to tag along hunts, I had children even, but then the purge happened. It all acted out so quickly..."

The Fang seemed to reminisce that day until he snapped back to reality, "But the past is the past, I got over it so long ago, one of the core things I was taught was to not let history define you. I've traveled the world since then, seen many sites, partook in wars and battles, even had a fling with royalty way back when. We are here now, are we not? I will gladly stay here for some time, I was originally going to clear out that New Haven but... There's already some people trying to do that. Anywho, you won't have to worry about Humans and I, I'm not some Newblood thirsting for a drink."
