Seraph

Life is a beauty in of it's own but the tranquility and serendipity of death so often gets overlooked. In the undead cleric's eyes the dead hold just as much beauty if not more than the living. The dead hold an ethereal beauty that no mortal living can seek to obtain. The undead keep that estranged beauty in their second life as well. To her the corpses of the once living and the undead are safer, more comforting and caring. Though Seraph may be fine in the company of those alive like himself even if it be as a form of undead, he finds far more solace among the dead. Those she feels, understand him. Seraph's estranged nature and attitude leads them to never stay in one adventuring group for long, disgust at their love for the departed and their work as a necromancer often chases allies away from her side. She cares not however, as she continues to find solace and comfort among the corpses and defeated, and those whom he resurrects to join the world in a second life. More hauntingly beautiful and perfect in her eyes than they ever were in life.

Hair: Long silver hair that falls in a mess of curls around their body and ends around at their lower back just above his ass. Usually the hair is pulled up and tucked into their headwear.

Eyes: Grey

Typical Clothing/Equipment: Usually Seraph is in the outfit in the art at the top of this page and other sexualized religious clothing that is seen as blasphemous to those who follow a variety of teachings. However to them it is just as holy as any other garment.

Mouth: They have small fangs that are usually hidden within his mouth, tucked away and leading people to assume they are just a sickly elf.

Attitude: Seraph is very blunt and solemn the majority of the time they interact with others. They also are quite responsible and independent as well as incredibly reliable. They work tirelessly and tend to push themselves to their breaking point.

Skills/Talents: They are incredibly talented at necromancy and healing/restoration spells, and are incredibly steadfast and strong in battle.

Likes: Seraph has particular interests in philosophy, evenings and nights, cemeteries, necromancy, monstrous creatures of the dark/night, and falconry.

Dislikes: There's a few things they cannot stand as well; tea, coffee, parades, pranks, being early, mornings, and the sun.

Strengths: Aside from their abilities to be an incredibly necromancer and cleric for the god of death, Seraph has strength from being logical, independent, and honest.

Weaknesses: They're quite off-putting and creepy due o their inability to socialize properly. Due to those issues they cannot work well in groups. In addition they are often quite overzealous with his work which can lead them to being overly tired and cause issues in battle if they're too exhausted.

Fears: They have an existential fear of nothingness, loneliness, and being forgotten to time. They also are often struggling with their own immortality.

Philosophy of Life: Life merely is. There is no greater meaning behind existence and life itself, however in her eyes it is also good to keep and foster it.

Attitude Toward Death: Death is a mercy at times and beautiful in many ways. They themself are partially undead after all

Age Play

Wu-shu is a system based on descriptiveness, intended originally to work for cinematic Kung Fu fights. Narrating details earns dice, up to a limit set for the scene, and you can spend these dice to roll against a trait and keep whatever rolls lower, which then let you do things.

It encourages fast paced action, most of all, but the baseline system can be used for just about any challenge.

It is meant for 1v1 duels, 1v a few battles, or battles of heroes against crowds of minions. It is not suited for mass combat.

The base resolution system, however, is more of a pacing system, with little by way of mechanical identity for different characters, which is mainly corrected for by way of original additions.

A PbtA TTRPG based around playing card games (inspired by Yu-Gi-Oh (the show, not the card game itself) that could easily be adapted, either as a whole or just the combat system and using our own ideas to fill in the gaps.

As a simplistic CYOA, this system has 0 in fight decision making, and so is more suited for RPs about coaching characters or otherwise leading them. It considers characters to be piles of stats and traits and then pits them against each other.

Both sides have the following stats: wrestling dice (1d100), dominant dice (1d40), submissive dice (1d20), and health (60).

Both sides roll the wrestling dice. The one with the higher roll then rolls their dominant dice and the one with the lower roll rolls the submissive dice. They both deal that much damage to the enemy. Then repeat the whole thing until someone runs out of health.

- Rock Paper Scissors (and it's 5 option variants):

The system would once more include health, but also a skill level for each option and arrays for the result (fe. A character might have scissors level 4 and an array of defeat: 1, tie: 4, victory: 7). After choices are made, both characters deal damage equal to the skill level in the option they chose multiplied by the result array.

Abilities would affect which multiplier option you use, and what options the other side is allows to use (for example: the enemy has to tell you what they are doing beforehand, but you use the Tie multiplier if you win, and it has a limited number of uses.

 

- Poker

Rather than betting chips, competitors bet health, and you don't take the opponent's health when you win, just make them lose it. Otherwise it is identical to whatever flavor of poker chosen for it.

Abilities would manipulate the amount of health bet (such as forcing the opposing player into a larger blind), your cards (change the suit or nudge the rank of a card by 1 in either direction), opponent's cards (the opponent must lay one card face down on the table, and neither player knows what is on it), or information (choose one of your opponent's cards at random to look at).

 

- Blackjack

Both players have their own decks (with some strange cards in them, probably), and play blackjack. Damage dealt is equal to the difference between scores, the first bust leaves you where you were and forces you to stand, any bust after that sets you to 11 (1 lower than the lowest number you can normally bust from).

Abilities include having weird cards in the deck, drawing a card at the start of each round and always having the option of discarding the drawn card and playing the card from hand instead, and so on, and can be limited by number of uses or only being usable if you dealt or took enough damage this combat.

- Citadel (I don't know the actual name, but will elaborate below)

The base game is simple. Both players have a set number of forces (100 or 1000 or something like that).

There is a segmented line separating their bases.

Both players secretly declare an amount of forces to send, and then reveal the numbers.

The higher number wins, moving the front line toward the enemy citadel.

However, the amount of forces is finite, and you can run out.

This means that the goal is to set the number as low as possible while still being higher than the opponent's.

Abilities would manipulate the outcomes of battles, slowly restock forces, allow to recuperate some forces from operations, change the track (for example adding a segment to their half, meaning the opponent needs to win one more time than the one with the ability) and so on.
