Name: Souji Arakawa

Gender: Male

Age: 18

Hair: Sky Blue

Eyes: Turquoise

Short Bio: Despite being the elder Arakawa sibling, Souji is noticeably less grounded and serious-minded than his younger brother Aoi. Despite a difficult life of caring primarily for his younger brother until he was mature enough to care for himself, especially without parental support, Souji has come out of it with an almost impossibly optimistic and carefree demeanor. Life wasn't always easy, however, as much of his earlier life has been a greater struggle to provide a semblance of safety and stability for himself and Aoi, with both being forced to grow up far sooner than they should have. Due to his young age, working opportunities had been difficult to come across for a long time, but he managed to find his footing in his mid teens as a waiter, a simple and quaint job that eventually led to more interesting opportunities for the elder sibling.

Due to the maturity he displayed despite his young age, he became a rather popular figure in host clubs, providing a much welcome boon of stability to both his own life and that of Aoi's, while giving him the chance to finally have a little fun and let his proverbial hair down after years of uncertainty. He'd even managed to find a way to get his younger sibling to support himself, using one of his favorite pass times and sources of comfort. Perhaps it was done a little underhandedly, but as he looks back on the choice, he feels he made the right one to give his little brother the push he needed to be able to secure his own stability and happiness.

... Which opened the door for Souji to simply live his own life the way he wished. Branching out from host work, he found himself performing male modeling work as an opportunity on the side, using the skills he'd already joined over the years to show off with new fashion trends, sometimes even being asked to model attire meant to be used to boost his brother's image. To Souji, it didn't even matter if Aoi had been the more popular one of the two, he understood better than anyone that it was his younger siblings dedication that got him to where he was today, and Souji was perfectly content with staying in the shadow of Aoi's popularity if it meant he could continue to live his own life the way he wished.

Of course, the civilian life is only one half of the story for Souji, but even his other life is his own to lead. His easygoing demeanor often allows him to engage in dialogue even with those who may not have the best of intentions for humanity and those who protect them, but he understands that he cannot remain passive forever, and eventually he knows dialogue may only be concluded through martial prowess. He has yet to stand against the greatest threats of the world, contenting himself with dispatching the lesser ones who seek to harm innocent, him, his sibling, or those they care for.

Abilities: A mix of competent swordsmanship utilizing his named blade, and a keen understanding of magical application of the element of Water gifted to him by his Familiar form the cornerstone of Soujis' combat style. While not a hyper aggressive fighter, he focuses more on a defensive combat style to mitigate damage to himself and allies, and counterstrikes if combat is unavoidable. Though he is no slouch in direct combat, he dislikes bringing grievous harm to friend and foe alike, preferring to use it only as an absolute last resort. His water magic affords him both offensive and defensive applications, although he does not have an understanding of healing capabilities with it.
