  1. You're on to something. You roll the relevant stats. Pick two of the numbers and sum them to get your result. If the result is larger than what I rolled for difficulty you succeed and make progress. On success you pick a 3rd die from the pool, that isn't used in your result. The type of dice this is, is what is called a effect die. If there is no third die, the effect die is a d4. Succeeding means you reduce the size of the crisis pool. An effect die larger than a die in will remove a die from the pool, and a effect die equal or smaller steps it down. On a failure on the check, you take a stress. Either in form of nudity or arousal. You decide which. This stress is used in rolls against you to increase difficulty. The amount is the same as the effect die from my roll. Either way, you're likely to have to make multiple rolls to try to get out of it. And both the acrobat and lover routes sounds fun to me. As long as you describe how they go. Difficulty for acrobatics: 1 2 2 4 - sum 6 - effect d6 Difficulty for lover: 1 2 2 6: sum 8 - effect d6
  2. Pushing through the vines Tanya noted the strange way the vines and branches twisted and turned. Natural plants didn't grow like this. The vegetation was thick, though she was still able to see the grey stone of the tower through it. She eventually pushed through to a small opening. There she could spot the skeleton of a previous adventurer stuck high up in the air, held up by vines. Tanya spots an especially thick collection of vines and flowers around the skeleton's groin area. That was when she felt the thin vines of the jungle snaked into her clothes. Attempting to wrap around her limbs and breasts, in an attempt to restrain her. One vine slithers down her pants to brush across her slit, prodding for an opening. --- Doom pool: 6 6 Crisis pool - vines: 6 6 This is the main way we handle conflict. I can take dice from the doom pool to create a crisis pool. This represents an obstacle like a monster or a trap. To get through it you must beat it in a test. If the effext dice of the test is bigger than a dice in the pool you that dice can be removed. Otherwise the dice is stepped down.

  4. @DreamsnThings Moving the RP here, to keep things organized. The tower has a doom pool of 6 6 6 6 There're two stress tracks. One for arousal. Stressing out means your character submits to whatever horny demands the tower demands. Second is nudity. You cannot stress out on nudity. But it serves as a complication where clothing would make a task easier to overcome. At 12 your character is completely nude. It can also work as an asset for tests where being nude is advantageous. I'll explain rules as we go. Up to 3 people are welcome to join as prisoners to be found in the tower. --- Far out at sea, on a lone island stands the Lewd Wizard's tower. A phallic structure piercing into the sky. It is enchanted to glow from afar, a warning to sailors that a powerful wizard lived here. Tanya Lace had been paid richly to investigate the wizard's doing. Strange erotic magic had been plagueing many villages and signs point towards it being the lewd wizard's doing. The ferryman sighs when the massive glowing tower peeks up from the horizon, the shaft getting longer as the boat approaches. The ferry man was a hunched guy, a little older, and clearly annoyed with having to get this close to that perverted wizard. Or at least he said so multiple times. The boat is moored to the sandy beaches of the island and the ferryman is willing to wait until sunrise to deal with the wizard. Giving Tanya approximately 16 hours to stop the wizard. Leaving the boat behind, Tanya is faced with a thick jungle blocking the way to the tower. Thick winding branches creating what is practically a wall. To make it worse, some branches have brambles while others are covered in strange colourful flora.
  5. Well depends on how you approach this jungle, but it's probably going to be test. To make a test you explain what you wanna do. I set the difficulty. You assemble a dice pool using your traits. Only one dice from each set. Roll the pool, pick up to 2 of the dice, add them together. This is your result. It must be higher than whatever I roll for difficulty. If you succeed you're allowed to narrate your success. On failure, you still nake progress but you take some stress. You're allowed to narrate your failures too.
  6. It's the dice pool I'm allowed to use to roll difficulty. I'm also allowed to expend dice to add an extra roll to a result, create complications or introduce characters. I gain dice to the doom pool with I activate a hitch. That's when you roll a 1 on any dice. I get to add a dice of that size to the pool. It represents the danger of the tower overall. Increasing it means the lewd wizard becomes more aware of your presence and sends more minions or activate spells to try to stop you. I'm also going to be using crisis pools. Which represents a more specific danger, but we'll get more into that when it happens.

  9. For the next game I should put in a sign up deadline or something. I'm not super familiar with Cortex so I'm going to have find a quiet moment to read up on the mechanics I'm using and then write a little opener. But first, some sleep.

How to join: Post a character below: It should contain a name and a concept. Attributes: Mind, Body, and Will They all start at 8 but you can move one up by moving another down to a max of 10 and a minimum of 4. Either way their sum should be 24. Roles: 4 roles, think of your typical d&d classes are fantasy archetype. Knight, thief, priest, mage and so on. You should have one rated at 10, 8, 6, and 4. Distinctions: You need 3 all rated at an 8. These can be anything from race and special abilities to mindset. Either way, one of them should explain why your character was chosen for this mission. The second should be a sexual skill or preference. The final one can be whatever you want. Player safety: Also include limits: these are things that if happen, your character will be mysteriously gone from the scene and kinks: so I can get a better idea what to toss at the party.

We'll see where everyone stands. Needs workshopping anyways.
  17. That's exactly right! Then we got a half incubus swashbuckler seeking the lewd wizard's treasure. She probably needs some help.
  18. I gotta think up a hook for a steampunk story that isn't just "mad scientist is mad". I'll get back to you on that. "Half Incubus" is a good distinction in my book. You could technically slot all those ideas as roles. I think 3 or 4 roles makes most sense. So Bard 12, rogue 8, sorcerer 6, and knight 4.
  19. That makes sense. I also personally prefer making completely new characters per adventure. I also didn't think about people coming and going. That's actually brilliant. Any character ideas. Any player character should probably have include fields for: "I want my character included in these kinks!" "Do not touch my character with that!" Probably worded a bit better, but just so no one has to suffer through tentacles they didn't ask for.
  20. Roles is a compression mod for skills. Instead of having unique stats for a list of different activities such as: "sneaking", "lockpicking", and "stealing" you just have a generalised "thief" role for it. As for setup. Do we want multiverse travellers or disassociated stories? Everyone good with starting with "the raid of the lewd wizard" as I've decided to name my fantasy one shot.
  21. Skills with specialities? For a starter adventure I'd prefer something broader, but if everyone likes a more granular build we can totally go for that.
  22. In my experience, people tend to burn out on longer games due various reasons. We can mix and match with various genres and mechanics based on what the story needs. We could even have a shared premise. Crew of universe hopping ship must travel to various universes to collect parts of their broken ship so they can travel home at whatever the price is. Traits and mechanics change to fit the universe. Though this can totally be scrapped if you don't see any advantage of keeping one character for each story. Anyways, I suggest we start with something basic. High fantasy, big bad wizard has a thing, you want the thing. You have to get through all his minions. Attributes/Roles/Distinctions for traits. Doom Pool and stress tracks for mods.
  23. @IsabellaRose @DreamsnThings I heard rumours that you wanted to start a game using some Cortex Prime rules. How about we get a discussion rolling. I'm of course always open be a game master. How about we start with a couple of one-shot length adventures to get to know eachother? Also so we can test out some themes and settings.
  24. Seeking heroines and adventuresses to explore stonehell with me. This is a massive mega dungeon with many levels, monsters, treasures and opportunity for incredibly lewd encounters. The dungeon is oozing with chaotic energy which fills its denizens with unstoppable lust. And of course there's the dungeon's master a mysterous magical creature that enjoys watching adventurers fall to his minions. I'll be playing the role as the dungeon, its master, and its denizens. While you get to craft your own adventurer to delve down. The dungeon is intended to be ran with a system, I think something super light works well here. Freeform Universal and Roll for Shoes are both great. OSE can also work if you like it gritty, any other rules light or narrative system can work, or we could do it systemless if you prefer that.
  25. We could probably discuss the mechanics of this magic system, and that might be a fun thread to start. Especially to greenlight certain magic and rituals for villans especially. But I think the gist of the magic system is that magic is a metaphysical force that can be manipulated through spoken word, script written with special materials, or objects especially attuned to it. I'd also like to urge everyone to create a location, ideally with some history and maybe even a threat. Once we got a couple locations, historic events, and threats we can start making groups and characters.
