  1. welcome @DreamsnThings!
  2. To clarify- if I do this for the pistol are the other SFX achievable? I ask because the skill is still marked as d4
  3. I love them- I'll update then on my actual sheet first thing tomorrow (sleep time for me now!) <3
  4. updated my previous post!
  5. Pathway Focus: Invention Millie doesn't truly know why she's always been so fascinated by taking things apart and putting them back together; she just is, and doing so comes as naturally to her as breathing at times. If she didn't have to think about the day to day getting by, the business wouldn't exist, and Millie would spend her entire time on her own experiments. She's not looking to make a name for herself... just looking to keep doing what she loves to- no- needs to do. New Gear (ability) The Alchemascope A set of goggles Millie wears and keeps with her that she can use to see objects in differing visual frequencies, letting her 'see' the material makeup and compounds of whatever it is she is examining... at least given time to have the 'Photographs' develop. Effect: Sensory. You may roll The Alchemascope to analyse objects for their materials and compounds to better understand them Descriptors: Materials, tinkering, crafting Limits: The Alchemascope can be used at short notice, but the pictures need developing in the workshops dark room before any information can be gleaned from them SFX: Spend a Plot Point to tell if an object is made of <new miracle compound> or otherwise contains traces of it instantly Spend a Plot Point to get a full breakdown of an objects material makeup, with the time to develop pictures to examine. Add a d6 to Trouble to reveal a valuable clue pertinent to the situation through the Alchemascope, in either of the above SFX New Gear (ability) The Ferroburst Pistol This Single shot 'pistol' is armed with an oversized, bulky disc of Millicent's own design, built not to harm, but to provide something like cover when lead starts flying. Effect: Control. You may roll The Ferroburst Revolver to manipulate ferrous metal. Descriptors: magnetic, iron, voltaic, polarity. Limits: Cannot affect non-ferrous substances (wood, brass, copper). Only a single shot before must be rearmed at the workshop. SFX: Spend a Plot Point to fire the gun and send a machine haywire, or even shut it down (GM's discretion) Spend a Plot Point to create a field in which bullets and other metallic substances refuse to enter due to powerful magnetism for a short period Add a d6 to Trouble to hurl a storm of metal debris in a chosen direction (via firing the gun to direct it.) Stepping up Edmund's relationship to a d6 to reflect that we're probably already dealing with one another due to TAIL-V New Location: The Exchange- Down in the cellar of an old house fronted by a family well paid off is The Exchange, a black market/fence where secrets and illegal goods or services can be sought out. (I've not put these on the sheet yet @IsabellaRose. Thought I'd let you look these over first!)
  6. HAH! Peeping tom! I'm about to leave for work so will get mine finished later!
  7. *points to the spicy part on Millie's sheet'
  8. Make it dramatic, huh? Challenge accepted. Tail-V has developed a strange obsession and curiosity with the odd newcomer to town, Alicia Von Vulf @MagnificentBastard @Chiyako <3
  9. Mine all okay too then I presume? x
  10. Outsider Millie never fit in with the high life, or with her family's idea of 'normal'. She masked the best she could, which wasn't well, but felt most at home when she could fall into isolation away from her community, learning and pushing her hobby ever further. Distinction tinkerer step up to d8 (twice). I've also stepped up the Missy relationship to d6. @WickedCadrach, i love your reasoning. In Millie's case, I think it's more that you'll be the one she most knows due to the mix ups and that something else.
  11. the rule only shows a single relationship step up; have I missed some or are more coming?
  12. I've updated the sheet. Willis Sloan has money invested in the casino, and business dealings there. I'll also update my relationships on my sheet now and keep them punchier and short @IsabellaRoselove the town!
  13. (sorry i've not been able to check in yet- will get replied in tomorrow morning! Got busy!)
  14. @WickedCadrach I think you're right about the short and punchier. love it.
  15. I'm sorry to hear it @WritesNaughtyStories. I honestly am not trying to change your mind since you know what you want, and I'm sorry it's not what this is looking like for you; what I will say is I know I was excited for Saha in the game. I hope very much to get to write with you in the future
  16. @Chiyako Both introverted in our own way. I believe Millie would view the newcomer with curiosity, but recognise her as trouble she doesn't want any part of (initially) @AsBloodTurnsEverCold She's heard you play on rare visits to the casino(?), and knows you by reputation. Millie doesn't care for song, but she's weirdly entranced by his melodies. @WickedCadrach That woman is irritating. Just sharing a name in a town like this means they get mixed up from time to time, but there's a little flush in Millie's cheeks that might not entirely be from annoyance when they speak. @MagnificentBastard She's one of the few in town who can work on TAIL-V for sure. Edmund is a little unsettling, but she can't deny he has a certain charm (To clarify, I promise I'm not just trying to slut Millie up. But she IS repressed and needier than she thinks. Just saying.) (this is my initial thoughts without the dice)
  17. Assuming it's okay to add somewhere already on my sheet; added Gearheart Repairs A small home by the train station Millie resides in, with a workshop trading in repairs, tinkering, and sometimes commissions for the townsfolk. It's well stocked with tools, and is the place she feels most comfortable. The ramshackle little place is littered with half-finished inventions and projects that will never see the light of day. Also, to clarify, am I stepping up relationships within a certain amount I can spend with the other players? (Like, I get X of points to move around?) or is there an array I missed? (Once I know that I'll poke back to people about relationships!)
  18. This is probably as good time as any to warn you all my rolls are shit
  19. Sheet updated with relationships
  20. We all enjoy writing smut, but it's important that it's punchy and more... consolidated in a group setting like this. OFC not opposed to private RPs around the characters when/if it feels appropriate too! With the relationships; I still need to put mine on my sheet. Just so I understand, they are all going to be at d4 for the other players; do I need to put statements on for them yet? I Know it was implied that might be a future step
  21. Millicent Gerenhart/ Millie Gearhart Background: Privileged Youth: Outsider Focus: Invention Road: Backroads Life changing: Reckoning Priority: Work Modus Operandi: The Tinker's Way Motivation: Self Identity: The Specialist Values d6 Honor ("People can't be trusted. Sooner or later, they all let you down.") d6 Glory ("They're all just cogs in a machine. I can't accept that.") d8 Passion ("No one understands me. I want someone to... it doesn't matter. Back to work.") d6 Justice ("The law's just a suggestion when some people can afford to ignore it.") d10 Power ("If I have the time and the resources, I can fix anything. I can fix this.") d8 Truth ("Ingenuity is the truest pursuit") Relationships Distinctions Abilities/Powers/Gear Signature Assets d4 Signature Asset (die rating, effect, descriptor(s), limits, and SFX) Resources Portrait
  22. I'm a little lost- where did the character sheet thread go? Sorry
  23. I'll hold off on my relationships to others for now then @IsabellaRose And I'm VERY afraid of Willis's possibilities :o
