One she knew well, better than her mistress. One who was supposed to be very dead. To fight again? There was not the evil certain other demons had their words. Exzel was so unlike the one she was warning Alexandrine about. Enough, that her loyalty made her comfortable swearing something new. “My body and soul are yours. I am your weapon. Tell me what to fight, how, when, I will obey. I will protect you, help you.” Did she understand her mistress? “My power is one of the reasons you want me, isn’t it? It is yours.” She smiled, felt warmth of the hand. Elie was right. This demon was different. She deserved her loyalty…love? Did she love Exzel like Elie, or was it more sexual? Alexandrine did not know. “I promise, though. I can’t lose everything again. Not the team. Not my mistress.” She would obey, but she as doing that already, even without the order.

Alexandrine knew how dangerous this was too. Elie ran away too. Now she understood. Elie already knew who Fujiko was. She felt guilt again. But also danger. Would Elie tell someone? He dreaded thinking about it. She would be alive. But such corruption. “I would face her. Slay the demon who did that to her.” But what about her. “That sort of corruption is much deeper. Sometimes through seduction. Sometimes brutal torture. Sometimes a mix. If that happened she would choose demons over me, fight me. She was a powerful fighter.” He was holding off on the final answer. He was afraid what it might require. “I would try to save her.”

Alexandrine felt warm. Like she had someone that would never abandon her. It might have been the collar and other corruptions, but she believed she had someone who would never abandon her. She would obey the demon in gratitude. A truly willing and eager obedience was forming. She smiled, the most she had in along time as the pulled her up. “More mistress. I want to please you….As many times as you want. My body is your property.” She was giving in completely. Her next questions did not have fear, almost a glee. “What do you want from me? What do you want me to become? Are you going to put more spells on me?” She was almost excited, to learn the demon’s plans for her. Everything she would become. If she still had more spells or rituals waiting. Was it even possible to make the corruption deeper?

Very dangerous. But there a possibility of a different danger. Alexandrine hides her corruption. Exzel tries to control the team through her, without the others noticing. Though Elie and Alexandrine are potentially going to try to ‘corrupt’ Exzel into the light. There are a lot of ways this could go. The team won’t go full evil, but will have to see if it darkens them all a little. If it eventually leads to Zorn having some one on one time with his little girl. Emi might join Elie in being ‘marked’, but by Zorn instead.

"Thank you. I may take you up on that offer later. My honest opinion, I am sure a woman like you would also be an ideal bride. But I will not pursue a woman already in love. Besides, I do still hope Emi eventually does change her mind." He let her know the thought he had about her. He did not have a crush on her or anything. He was simply sure he would have been happy with her as a wife, but he was a gentleman and was not going to make any move on her or offer. He was not really in love with Emi either, but there was something interesting about her. She was still his first choice for a new bride, if she could be convinced. Marriage between him and Elie could only happen with twists of fate neither could expect. He spoke his mind, purely intending it as a compliment and maybe confidence boost. No intention of tempting her to choose him instead.

Umi tried to lighten the mood a little. "Alexandrine brought Emi to the temple, because they were looking for a new home for her. The temple would be a safe place for someone like her, where she would not have to hide what she is. Unfortunately though, living in the temple, joining it, it is only allowed for our family. You have to either be born into it, or marry one of us. She was given the offer to marry Hikaru. She politely declined, they are still on good terms. The offer is officially still open, if Emi ever changes her mind. Hikaru is a traditionalist. Cares about the old ways. Feels he is young enough, he should take a new wife. Ideally a Magical Girl." Hikaru quietly ate as his cousin spoke. It was all true enough. No reason to be embarrassed about it. Nothing immediate to add about that subject either. "It is enough you act respectfully in the temple. Treat it as the holy place it is. There is no harm bringing such things."

Looks like once the convention eventually ends, we will finally be exploring another team. In a near but separate area. Jumi and Mitsuko’s slice of life roommate adventures & Magical Girl life. Somewhere else new/unattached characters could end up. Rest of the team will be in the background for now. Mystery Character could end up a demon enemy for their team, now that Broken Girl is covered. Some similarity to Exzel probably (in how she approaches enemies). But less portal, maybe more even more sexual. Maybe a chance to explore a proper succubus in the setting. Independent, but maybe working a little with Exzel.

Human-demon hybrids were another matter. They might still be Knights, but with peculiarities. ”I heard of the attack. But only from the investigations afterwards. No witnesses I am aware of who could say much about what happened. It was demon work. But beyond that I cannot say. Closer to that damned Zorn’s style, but there were no reports of him ever doing anything so far from here.”
