  1. Alexandrine watched, listened. This sort of thing could happen. There was some variation in how the girls found their power. Some needed help of an established veteran, like Rin had. Others discovered it on their own. In some teams there was another power, spirit or other that gave the members their power. Mitsuko’s origin was not especially strange. “That you are one of us is real. I can say that much. Though, like the Princess of Fate here, where you go from here is a question mostly for you.” She took a seat on one of the chairs. Without questions, it was hard to say where to begin. “Before I try to decide where to start explaining things, do you have any questions.” She asked Elie. If Mitsuko did not have any, it was worth checking with her again next.
  2. I had mentioned the idea before. The possibility of doing ‘what if’s’ of a sort, to see how things might have played out differently. If people liked the idea, while keeping the main story going. In Emi’s case I had mentioned examples of her joining her father, or if she had agreed to the previous offer to marry Hikaru. I thought I had remembered seeing a reply from you saying you liked the possibility. But now I’m not seeing it, other than a reaction to the post I first mentioned it. Up to you then, if we do that.
  3. "We are in her mind in a sense. Connected to it, at least." Pelintira explained. The surrounding shifted, to the village where Mao found the girl. Surrounded by small homes, figures walking around, doing their daily business, a few farming, the sounds of a smith's hammer and a few horses. None paid attention to the two of them. "Figures of her mind, memory of a sort. They will not see us." The image shifted again. Now inside one of the houses. Then they saw the girl, sitting on a chair in the corner. She was sewing a piece of clothes, a dress it appeared. "She on the other hand may notice us sooner or later." That was the girl. The soul, maybe, or perhaps a memory occupied by the soul. Either way, it was real in a sense the other figures were not, capable of interacting with others, but lost in the moment for now.
  4. Might get busy writing in a bit. May give Jumi a convention post. Something for Takamo or 'Fujiko' to do, if they don't meet each other. Also may write up an intro for 'mystery character' (that for now will remain vague about exactly what she is). Might write a start for the Emi/Zorn alternate story as well.
  5. Depending on how busy your Sunday is, this may be a short nap for Emi. They can join the conversation whenever she is rested.
  6. Rin was tempted to see what happened if she tried to feed Emi. But Emi feel asleep rather quick. She leaned against Emi looking down at the Alexandrine plushie brought in with her. She imagined one of those being made for Emi soon. For both of them. Though the real thing was much more appealing to Rin. She heard the stories. What could happen in these rooms. Eventually she and Emi might be here with a number of boys. An experiment Rin was a little nervous about, but willing to try, if she had Emi at her side. She was not really listening to the conservation the other three were about to have, though it might have useful information for her and Emi.
  7. “I’m sure you both have many questions. Come along.” Alexandrine led the way, as Rin helped Emi along. They passed through the crowd, the occasional hands patting them. Mostly the two new singers, and the well known veteran Magical Girl. She led them past various stands and booths, activities towards the back. Several staff, and volunteer Knights were watching the entrance to a hall in back. “Diamond Sorceress.” One greeted them. It was understood why she was here and she was handed a key, with a room number on it. She led them into the hall. “Fans and guests can only come back here with a Magical Girl or Knight accompanying them. A place they can meet privately. She walked to the door and unlocked it, letting everyone follow inside. “Rin, take Emi in the back, to let her rest. You two can join us after she has recovered.” Rin nodded picked up one several plates with various snacks on it and led Emi to the back. The room looked a lot like a hotel room. Intentionally. Rin led Emi towards the back, where a single bed waited and helped her onto it. Setting the plate next to her and sitting at her side. Alexandrine gestured Elie and Mitsuko towards the furniture in the main room. There was the table, surrounded by a few chairs and a couch. “Take a seat. I’m sure there much you both want to know. Before I start trying to explain things, do either of you have questions?”
  8. He’s seen her when she’s really pissed off. In the final battle against his previous master, where she lost her old team. Went on a bit of demon bloodbath. Though only a fraction of them were left at that point, her team took out a big portion of the demons with them. He was almost killed himself, played dead to avoid being finished off. He is partially warning Hellhound for her own safety. But of course also does not want anyone else to get her before he feels ready to get revenge. Right now she isn’t out to kill of course, just make sure Emi and Toshiro don’t get hurt or captured. Especially Emi. If she feels her newly forming team is in danger, she is not going to take it well. May push the convention along a bit there, Emi being tired should be able to set up the conversation between Alexandrine, Elie and Mitsuko. Rin and Emi can join in later.
  9. Yeah, you guys are good at that. Of course I’m still wrestling with exactly what Alexandrine’s powers are (and Rin’s though hers don’t currently matter).
  10. The voice of Zorn spoke through the shadow, directly into Hellhound’s mind. ‘Beware the older woman in back! She is an old enemy…though I wonder about the girl you chose to play with. Is her scent similar to mine. Respond with your thoughts. I can hear them for now.’ He had considered what she might be. He wondered if Hellhound detected some evidence that might back it up. Alexandrine narrowed her eyes. She pushed Ryan back through the portal. She glanced to the boy, then Emi, and the other demon. She was not going to let Emi be left behind. She was going to make sure she could make it to the portal. The body began to glow again. Judging if she needed to attack, to allow either of the two left a chance to escape, to shake either of the opponents off.
  11. There were things Elie did not know about either Emi or Rin. Things probably worth telling her. But maybe they should move first. "There are things for us all to talk about. The private rooms are more for personal meetings with fans. But it may be good for us all to visit one. Have a talk before going back out in to the convention, doing other things." She looked to Emi. "Give her a little time to rest as well." She walked over, took Emi's hand. Helped her up. "Let's hold off on any transforming before we get there. You should always make sure you have as much privacy for that as possible." Rin nodded. Staying at Emi's side. Realizing there was a fifth girl, quiet so far, who would apparently be following them. Yet another new Magical Girl, it seemed. "There will be some food already in the room." Alexandrine guessed at least Emi, probably Rin too, would want something to eat.
  12. Might be more of Alexandrine and Elie and maybe Mitsuko talking at least at first then. Might be able to get that set up. Alexandrine in the Wanders is more 'I want to go home, but will fight if I have to'.
  13. We have been getting a little loose on the turns. Feel free to get some Mitsuko posts in when you want. I have waiting a bit between replies to give you a chance. Alexandrine is probably going to get them all into one of the private rooms. But in this case just to talk openly. Mix Emi & Rin idol planning with any questions Elie and Mitsuko have about being Magical Girls.
  14. "They both do, hm?" Rin had certainly been much more eager about it than Emi. Maybe two sides of her earlier self? Fear and excitement? "You think they have potential then?" Elie would be much more qualified to judge. Possibly the sort of person Rin called out for, to help them take a step into that world. "We can find a place to talk about that. And any questions you two have." She addressed Elie and Mitsuko. Before leading them towards the back area that Emi and Rin had wandered off to. That was a somewhat private area, but there were better options. "You did a good job!" Rin congratulated Emi, rubbing her head as the two of them rested. She suspected they would be joined soon. By Alexandrine, and that woman, Elie, they had rescued the other day. Rin saw her at Alexandrine's side. "You saw how much they enjoyed it. It was not just me either. They would love to see us again. Though don't worry, we can do quieter things from here on." Other than the potential boy hunt, what they did from here on might be easier on Emi. At least to a degree. "Though now that we've done that. We should spend some time signing autographs at some point."
  15. Alexandrine watched the two creatures. This new one was different. Dangerous, but perhaps not cruel. There was something lingering in the air she did not like. A trace of something much more unpleasant. Too faint to try to identify. A third one, who escaped when the portal opened? She was unlikely to be able to trace it now. She kept Ryan behind behind her. "I am only here to retrieve my friends. I intend to keep my word." The new creature made this much more unpredictable. She was unsure if it was going to attack. Hopefully Emi did not attack recklessly. She did not know with any certainty where they were. How easy it would be to find their way back, if the portal closed. That was the demon's biggest strength.
  16. They were only singing one song. Only on stage for a few minutes. Even if it felt longer. Rin let go of Emi for the final lines of the song, but stood at her side. Then the song ended and the cheering began. Alexandrine of course was not that expressive. But clapped along with the audience, smiling. A few louder cheers came from the audience. A random voice or two saying how much they loved the song, or the singers. Rin waved at the crowd. Winked at a few who appeared extra enthusiastic, her other arm wrapped around Emi’s shoulder. They had to wait a moment to step down.
  17. Friday being my other quiet day of the week. The song might not get finished until this evening. The convention is a few days long thing. The song being one of many things happening. But exactly what else the individual characters get up to remains to be seen. He could be there. Could be one of the guys Emi and Rin eventually take to a private room. He could get involved with others, possibly several different ones over the few days.
  18. Was not sure if there was going to be anything else from Elie or Mitsuko before the song ends. If not I'll finish that up with the next reply.
  19. The Sorceress! Zorn watched the appearance of the last of his old enemies through the portal from Hellhound’s shadow. All the more reason to stay hidden. The time would come to reveal his survival to her. But it was not today…But the one with the bunny she got his attention. Was that part of her transformation. That face resembled someone’s too. The aura surprised him the most. He had to process that, figure out what it meant, and why his old enemy seemed so protective of her. He watched her just quietly stand there, she was here to protect that girl. And the one behind her.
  20. “This was something they talked about on their own, when they were exploring the grounds this morning. First I’ve heard of it.” Alexandrine explained as she listened. It could be a way for Emi to legitimately support herself, if they were good enough. But she was not qualified to judge. Though she was impressed with their singing so far. She tried to smile at Emi to reassure her a little. Rin moved along with Emi as she sung. Keepin unison, bumping hips together once or twice. This was her idea. She knew it was much harder for Emi. She would do her best to lead. Draw more of the attention. But they were a pair, a duo. Emi had her place here. She did not intend to do this by herself. One other things she would not do alone. At one portion of the song, singing about the bond of a team, she turned Emi to the side, faced her. Put her free hand around Emi’s back. Sung to her directly. Was that a pro move? She was not sure, but it felt right, here.
  21. Yeah. I wanted to put off that meeting, since was not sure how it will go and that is something that both Alexandrine and Emi would be dwelling on at the convention if they had already met. You got pinged from the message I just sent. I had not realized it at the time, did not read that post until a few minutes before I wrote my post there, realized you probably did not know either.
  22. Zorn had looked up from his meal as the portal opened. That was another demon’s work. But he sensed other powers on the other side too dim to recognize. ”You may get your chance to play. But it is too soon for humans to see me. I will watch for now.” He had an interesting way to watch. He faded but joined with Hellhound in a sense, his shadow joining with her’s his presence masked by her’s. He was gone before anyone came through. With Elie gone. Alexandrine and Ryan followed, mostly to keep up with Emi. Then they found themselves in the forest. Another creature. Not exactly a demon. She watched to see what would happen. She was keeping her word. Would only fight in self-defense.
  23. @Warningwas not following it, so should probably point out here the characters in the Wanders are starting to drift over to where Hellhound and Zorn are.
  24. Alexandrine was a little surprised by Fujiko running off. Did she feel out of place in a crowd? Especially when the rest of the crowd was Magical Girls? Well it was not a big deal. She suspected the woman would find her again later if she wanted. “She suggested music, just as I saw you two. Maybe she will watch it on her own.” The woman’s words and approach had left a strange touch on her. She kind of hoped to see her again. “It does let us talk a little more openly. Though we still have to be careful about the crowd.” Maybe the three of them would talk more after it was over. She heard the last words of the words of the previous singer. Poor girl. One of the ugliest aspects of this life. A girl beaten, tortured, sometimes seduced, into completely giving up everything she stood for. Her team was spared that sin. They would die first. She was sure they did. She did not see all of their bodies. The area made too sick to search. But she had felt their powers fade, until she was alone. “I do not know that one well. One of the foreign visitors.” The name escaped her for the moment. But she was sure it would be remembered. “Rin and Luna should be next.” As the girl finished, another set of cheers and she stepped off the stage. Rin followed Emi to the front. Looking over the crowd. Seeing Alexandrine, and the girl they rescued among them. Would that help Emi, or make it harder? She hoped it helped. “Hello, everyone. Rin Nyoko and Luna Rabbit here! Ready to make our debut as Magical Girls and singers. My friend is a little shy, but we hope to have a lot of fun here and may see some of you later.” She gave a wink to the crowd. She knew she was encouraging the boys. But she might as well go in for the whole idol gimmick. “If any of you have connections to the music world and are impressed by our singing, let’s talk about going pro!” Rin was getting ambitious, Alexandrine had to give her that. She assumed that was not completely without warning to Emi. Though it was unlikely they would have to worry about it. The song Rin and Emi practiced here that morning started up. An opening to an anime story about a fictional team of Magical Girls, but written by a real one. Upbeat but strong. Rin remembered her practice, brief as it was. Was singing the singing the lyrics well. Letting her voice guide and encourage Emi’s. Her body moving with the rhythm. Nodding along her body swaying a little with it. How much of a show should she put on? How much would Emi?
  25. Yeah, I figured they were going to be next, since everyone was gathering.
