Would anyone like to have one (or more) strings on velvet to start off? I have 2 left that could just go to mr ascars but id rather give them out to others

I... do want to suggest possibly making an entire seperate club for this especially if we want extra side scenes and multiple ooc's (rolls, conversation, character sheets, etc) I think part of this club was to make a jumping off point for these kind of things, not necessarily constrain us to the club (and flood the tabs with our specific things)

ok, did we ever lock in what that string meant? what exactly... is a sympathetic token? I would not mind taking it if I knew how to work it in currently I have the strings for players mainly as the players realizing that velvet is not in complete control for one reason or another, or otherwise helping her out of a situation when she was mostly in control but mr ascars was teetering on regaining his control for this my Idea would be to use spoiler tags for questions and answers, that way we keep them in the scene where the questions and answers are relevant, but hidden away where you can avoid looking at them if you want to read through the action

I am not used to things moving this fast on this site xD anyone waiting for anything from me? I think someone suggested a string for velvet and mr hollow? Im not sure if that was ever locked in... or discussed at all really x.x busy day

I think as this is a play by post setting maybe adding a small scene length minimum just as an element of standardization, or just give the MC leeway in deciding if something needs tweaking As a game some level of rules helps... but as a erotic bit of media too many rules causes issues... i want a middle ground personally So failing any skill gives exp? Or what are the rules there

So quick question, i was reading up on advancements and saw it mentioned that each skin has 2 "highlighted" advancements which both mark experience when used once a "scene" 1 How do scenes work in a play by post format? 2 none of the stats are highlighted as far as i can tell...

Sounds great, i think ill just say a lot of it feels esoteric and odd, with protecting the mind being emphasized uncomfortably so

Currently im trying to nail down velvets sides, im leaning into her darkest self being at her patrons mercy and having that be a big thing where she is almost hypnotized Meanwhile at lower patron strings she is a greedy person, somewhat knowing whats going on and trying to retain some semblance of freedom and self without making it obvious to mr. Ascars Actually quite like this, we need to flesh it out a liiiitle more but i feel like that has potential I feel it could be interesting if selene stole velvets notebook, and came across an escape plan that seemed to be her trying to decide how to avoid... things most people wouldn't need to be concerned about when planning an escape... not sure how much i should detail that

...additionally i have to pick 3 characters to have strings on me, so far im thinking of just giving them all to mr ascars unless anyone wants to use them for anything special?

Ah! Well my immediate thought would be him becoming a hollow had something to do with my patron, maybe he was on his way to becoming like velvet but got away... That all said that may be TOO big of a tie in, but thats my first thought... The second would simply be the fact that velvet just... feels empty like a pretty doll to him, and being a hollow is finding common ground

Velvet seemed extremely happy and excited to go on a date with danny! He was a sweet guy albeit nerdy and she was probably a little out of his league... they had a good time, and he even met mr ascars! Which was delightful... shame danny went missing a few weeks later... they even had a second date planned! Why do all the good guys disappear? This is moving fast, im blanking on which of like 3 things this could be about xD If its the move i dropped one allready P.S. if anyone asked questions i missed dear god tell me x.x im loosing track

Im thinking infernal, i really like the deal with a devil kind of feel they bring... Also kinda love how they can pass off debts to people they fuck xD

Im actually leaning to infernal or queen more based on the actual feature list... Vampires move feels... unsatisfying based on what little i know about the system

Im realizing there are allready a lot of people here for this one and i might be trying to shoehorn myself into too many places xD if im still welcome to join in i will, but let me know if there are too many folks here as is

I see where your going with it now, I was reading that as you suggesting I was still attached to them. but playing it along those lines feels fine imo... maybe just rephrase it in a less... positive light? lingering fling? maybe frame it as less serious with something like "wanderlust" trying to represent the sluttyness of course but also the lack of commitment? frame it maybe as "faulty connections" where she is not against forming bonds but cant form them properly after merging with her frame? I just really don't like the tag line for that one if thats the case with gear, I think I would love to set my girl up in the way a lot of sci fi shows sometimes have that oooonnnee thing that is more fantasy than science (IE the force in star wars). thats... already kinda cropped up with her story beat, but I wanted to establish that a bit more firmly. well flavoring my exoframe as something nanobot adjacent, letting me integrate with other frames if I can access the "cock"pit, reshaping metal or possibly bioframes with extended contact with the bots, and repurposing the nanobots to be used as both armor and a weapon... probably being weaker than most bioframes, but being smaller and more agile... no clue how to break that all up into gear aspects, but thats my wishlist for now or later
