...ok so I had a thought, rather than go the sheriff with a busted gun angle I could play into the steampunk weird tech and make a scientist like gal who is researching pheromone compositions, who in combat would weaponize them almost like a DND enchantment mage, with her pheromones sometimes backfiring as being too sexually charged, leading to her being impromptly being made into her targets.. ahem.. "mate"... roughly on the floor.

ah, i probably should have checked, on a scale of 1 to 10 how lewd oriented can/should we design our character concepts? @MagnificentBastard's concepts made me realize I could take things a few steps further if it works for the setting

ok, with all this in mind i think im going to go for some degree of a "scrap tech gunner" someone who has a ramshackled version of a steampunk esk gun they have tinkered with explosive results!... litterally... sometimes it works really well, others it backfires horribly and might actively blow up in their face... the specifics ill leave till the specifics of the setting is defined, but a sheriff seems fun for a wild west esk setting

a quick question, as far as character creation goes are we limited to humans of some variety? or can we use something like goblins, elves, steam punk golems, etc? currently i have a few character ideas but Im holding off on making any concrete choices till i have a concrete location or setting to work off of, currently im leaning towards being the former sherif of a town that was wiped out well she was investigating

im fine with either, if we had multiple DM's i would suggest smaller groups of 3 to keep things schmoving, but that ends up being a big ask for the DM, so for me being in a party of 3 or 4 would be great!

well last I heard the "setting" is going to be some flavor of weird west steampunk (assuming im not getting wires crossed) so i have been trying to use that as a baseline for ideas, but having a solid... connection point with the group will help...

personally i think i can work with any of these, I would just rather avoid 8 since that gets a little into incest territory with the kinds of RP's typical on this site, that said the found family version would be fine to me...

anyflips has a full PDF of the basic 2014 5E handbook wikidot is the 5e reference I like to use for classes, races, spells, magic items, etc. its a really solid tool and far easier than flipping through every book released for 5E would have posted a link, but I was told just now its against TOS so uh... hope the site names helps?

Well i have played exactly one pathfinder 1e campaign before and it was... very brief, and im not sure what AP means here... nore Savage pathfinder really? But i like playing in new systems so ill be happy to play ^-^

the only thing I can specifically think of that would be fun to expand on would be the twitch equivilent I made up for my character, fleshing it out so its not quite a 1 to 1 and fits more in a cyberpunk style world. what does that mean? I have no clue! but it should be neat if say some folk could directly control compatible things in the stream environment, kinda like how twitch integration lets viewers give streamers gifts irl. would also be interesting if people who for one reason or another no longer have a physical body they could still have a sorta presence on the digital side of things, with VR modifications letting streamers stream with and see viewers who are digital only... for the lewd side of things, could be hilarious if particularly famous streamers could get a sex toy themed after their genitalia, and have it connect with the streamers nerves when they enable it lots of fun to be had with AR and VR style nonsense here

sooo normally i steer clear of canon based RP's but with silksong coming out in a couple days I was kinda wanting to do a hollow knight based RP! ...now the issue is concept wise the setting doest really play well with ERP... but if anyone has ideas i would love to hear it!
