While Julia has learned better table manners and eating habits, the way Nilaa gorges and feasts upon the meal is not entirely alien to the manticore woman. She knows this is far from the normal way to do it here in the human realm, but it would be way too complex for her to try and explain to the wolf girl until she hopefully learns more about speech. Hopefully she might even catch onto how Julia is getting through her meals if they have more together. The idea of taking Nilaa out further causes her cheeks to warm up a bit and she cannot entirely and fully derail the idea that that might sound like...dating. Of course, she would never fully assume this without it being mutually know and acknowledge by Nilaa too. Really, she is not sure what the thought even occured in the first place. She slowly cuts stuff and eats it more like humans do and less shoveling with her hands, even though that was closer to the norm with her family. She also drinks her own beer slowly, making it last longer and all. After she finishes as well, she wipes her mouth with a napkin and offers one to Nilaa too while making it very clear what she is doing with it herself."How was it Nilaa? Did you like it?".

I know you shot me. It's okay, I love you too! If loving (blank) makes me (blank), I don't want to be wrong.

She gives him a very confused look."I...am very puzzled. You just simply....walk through the portal. Not sure, but did someone drug you and toss you through it? In any case...good to see you trying to adjust and all. Perhaps the headmaster can help you find a place to live as well", she utters back, still wondering what in the world happened with him since everyone else practically consciously walk into here.

OOC: Man, that was a long time underway o.O Bridget is not sure how well he seems to know this other world, but if he has resorted to camping, it seems like he really needs a leg up or at least some more insight. Surely, he had a place to live before passing through the portal, right? In any case, she simply gives a surprised look and let him take the map for his own use."Uhhmm...you would probably need to look for an apartment or something", she says, wondering how much time he has spent here."Excuse me if I am being rude, but have you not thought about the bare necessities before anything else? Like...how have you managed to get through the days here so far? How long have you been here?".

While Julia is indeed not sure what to think of it, she decides to just try and stay calm. If Nilaa was indeed in heat, she would show clearly, right? At least, that is the rationalization she makes in her mind. However, while she does leave the matter alone mostly, the visions in her head still persist to some extent. She watches in glee as the wolf girl gives off happy and enthusiased signals, letting the manticore know this is going very well. While she doesn't respond to Julia verbally, she is still enough monster to tell by body language."Awwwww, you are too adorable, Nilaa! Haha...I am sure we will have a good time together!", she says and soon enough their meals are brought forth and placed on their table. Now the manticore is getting just as hungry and meal needy as Nilaa and sniffs the aroma hard into her nose, drool on her lips.

Julia gives an acknowledging smile and nod at Nilaa as she can tell she is accepting her ways to help teach her stuff, be it speech or simple stuff like holding a mug properly. She has decided that the wolf girl is far from stupid, this is all just very, very new and unfamiliar territory for the little one. She sighs a bit in relief as that hopefully means it will improve. Of course, she cannot predict how far this can be taken, but she intends to to keep trying and keep teaching new skills and make her experience things that she would probably not know about otherwise. She watches how Nilaa begins to sip her drink. Thankfully she does not seem to dislike it, but she does make a mental note of trying to keep her from getting too much. She would rather not have her end up in any bad situation. At least one mug should not hurt, right? What is said next starts off pretty off as she would expect, but the final part leaves her a bit unsure and surprised. Her mind begins to form mental images perhaps best left out, but yet they emerge nontheless. She feels pearls of sweat form on her brow as she tries her best to interpret what is really meant by 'sleep with'."OOhhh..uhhmmm..s...sure...we ca...can do all that. I...I can help...help you find your...room too", she says, trying to look at Nilaa to see if she can determine if there was anything pointing towards any hint of being in heat or anything like that.

Julia watches the wolf girl try to mimic her rather amateurish dancing from the waist up, making her spill some of her beverage. The manticore gives off a simple and sweet laugh from the cute display. She shows Nilaa how best to hold it, as she places her hands on the one that Nilaa is using to hold her container with beer. She cannot help but like hanging out with Nilaa, even if their communication and such is so limited still. She decides to help the wolf monster girl learn words better first and slowly add more to it."Very good so far, Nilaa. You are learning more words slowly. You like to hunt? Can I see sometime? Ohhh sleep...sleep is good! I love sleep!", she purrs out and nuzzles Nilaa once more. She intends to show Nilaa many more things, hoping she would get to broaden her horizon.

Mary is on her last dose of patience, not really keen on this interaction going further. He basically just mimicks what she just said, not really adding anything new to the conversation, other than still annoying her. She simply nods at all this for now. She could talk back to him, but she said most of what she needed to for now. The headmaster will have to decide what is to be done about this. For now, the matter just needs to be settled and over with. Her facial expression clearly shows her contempt and annoyance though, so little needs to be uttered from her."Ah'll be there in 30 minutes. Any further issues or delays will only make it worse for yah. Ah still have rounds tah go, so make sure yah have this under control". Then she leaves quietly after that whilst writing onto a note paper of hers.

The more time she spends listening to the brat before her, the more agitated she seems to grow. Most monster students know when to stop, but this guy seems to want to insult even her and her abilities."Ah care little for yah trouble or issues, kid. Ah will be escorting yah to make sure yah get this here problem fixed. Smartmouthing will only make yah case even worse. Ah will have a very frank talk with miss Veronica 'bout this and ah can assure yah that yah won't find this so funny afterwards", she says, her skill of Intimidating presence now on full force, which usually has most shaking in their boots. She leans closer to see who he might be calling now."No time for chit chatting with other brats, unless it's about this job here. Yah task is tah get this cow back, pronto!", she goes on, clearly not in a good mood.

Julia is not sure if the thoughts, feeling and impressions of Nilaa is as complex as her own and she just can't express them well enough yet or if she is more animalistic in her range of cognitive and emotional abilities and understanding. At the moment, she is content with them having a nice time together and she still hopes she can at least try to make Nilaa improve her speech over time. Like many others, she is not really used to someone who needs this kind of nuturing and it makes the manticore ponder and dread the difficulties she must face as a student. When the wolf monster girl does speak up, she can mostly guess what she is trying to say to her. Julia gives a soft smile, but as she is about to speak, the waiter comes with their refreshment first. Julia picks up her own ale and lifts it a bit."I liiiiike to drink stuff like beers...and many other things", she says covering at least part of the inquiry made by Nilaa."Food? Well, I like big juicy steaks...I like, well, anything very meaty, hahaha!", she says and laughs as she is far from finicky. Her own swooshes around a bit, as it is quite big and the booth is not exactly huge."I like to...uhmmm...go to fun parties! It is where you dance, you drink alcohol, you hang out with others, listen to music, eat snacks...lots of fun stuff!", she says and uses her body to try and emphasize such things like dancing, to help make it easier to get.

Mary notes the name in her mind for now as she finish listening to him. The cocky and bratty attitude never sat well with her and she makes another mental note of making sure to keep an eye on this kid in the future. While it's just a minor prank, the fact that he tried to hide his identity and wrongdoing does make her much less happy about the whole situation."Boy, ah've grown up with more cows 'round me than you have seen all yah life. Ah'm perfectly aware of how they act. Yah are still to take care of this problem and ah'll make sure the headmaster knows of this. Any punishment ah'll leave up to her to decide, but don't expect her tah go easy on yah", she comments back, not moving out of the way and having no intention of doing so either until she is satisfied.

Mary stays nicely put where she is while watching him walk down whilst trying to explain himself. The more she hears, the less convinced she seems to be. Anyone who would have enrolled should have been given a schedule and everything. She decides that this is not seeming to be very accurate what she is being told. Her glare turns even more frightening and unnerving as she crosses her arms and stand her ground."Ah admire yah ability to improvise on the spot....a shame it's not very convincing to me. How did yah get it in here? Did yah do this alone? Yah are gonnna have tah bring back the cow right now. Yah might also want to use a name actually listed for enrollment. There's no Ben Price on the list. Ah know very well that students have all sorts of weird powers...so ah'm extra careful and thus know the student list each year by memory. So...who are yah really?", she asks, her voice not sounding like she is kidding around.

Mary does not at all look like a student in her tactical vest, bulletproof armour and plenty of firearms and a few melee ones, like a hunting knife. She has a name tag on her vest, as well as the title of "Head of security" right above it, making it very clear who this person is. The blonde looks over the situation as well as the person trying to convince her that he was not the perpetrator. However, there are no classes scheduled in here at this time, meaning there is literally no clear reason for him to be present here at this time of day or day of the week. Several things make her wary and suspicious of this person before her."Who are yah and what are yah doing here? You better not be bullshittin' me boy. Ah can sniff out a liar very easily...or ah have way tah find out", she says, glaring hard at him. It has been a while since she has had to impose her intimidating presence, but this seems fitting for it.

Soon enough, the blonde head of security reaches the destination and spots the cow that is standing there, looking docile and not giving a shit to anything around it. Honestly, this is the first time she has seen a cow in the big city and the student is close to seeing her simply burst out laughing, but she manages to keep herself from doing this and stay, mostly, professional. Instead, her slightly shocked part takes over and she slips her hand away from her gun."What in tarnation is goin' on 'round here? Explain yahself boy!", she blurts out right away and blocks the only exit.

Mary, who is doing her rounds on the hallways, has been given a tip-off that something weird might be going down at the 1st year classroom. Not taking any chances of potential mischief happening. she walks in a brisk pace towards this destination. She is not too worried as the person tipping her off said it was something of minor scope. Still, she has readied herself mentally that it could be anyone up to anything really. She has one hand near a firearm and her senses on full alert. She is not exactly the master of stealth and so Ryder can most likely hear heavy footsteps closing in on where he is at.

Julia knows her sentences are probably too tough for Nilaa to understand yet, but hopefully it will get better with experience and practice. Of course, she uses all she can to aid her words. Just like the wolf girl, she would love to make another friend, especially one as cute and lovely as Nilaa. Besides, she finds herself already smitten a bit by her and her company, despite how little she knows about this world, speech and so on. Once their order has been given, the manticore feels Nilaa scoot much closer and even begin to nuzzle up against her. Once more, she feels like a giant question mark about the intentions of the wolf girl, but for now she tries to take things as they come. She returns the affection shown to her by Nilaa, while also trying not to let her excitement make her cross any boundaries. Naturally, the hug is returned back on the little one and she even rubs the furry back as well, really liking this develooment so far."Ohhh, thank you. Julia likes Nilaa as well. I think we could be very good friends", she responds back, inhaling the scent of the wolf student.

"Indeed, that is very true, but I doubt you have dealt with students who posseses powers beyond human capabilities and scope. If you have trouble, just call for the head of security", she responds while rifling through a few papers, one of them being the file for Mary Blackwater, the person in question here. She puts it on the table in case he wants to read it. "You are welcome and of course, my doors are always open for anyone who needs me - given I am not busy with something or someone else, of course. I appreciate our lovely meeting, both professionally and...less so, haha", she says in return and then reaches out to shake his hand and have her usual grin all over her face."And welcome to the staff and academy of course. Have a lovely day mr. Maxwell", she finishes before they leave each other once more.

Don't worry about it at all ^^ it has yet to be used anyway. It functions just like dorm rooms.

Veronica seems more satisfied with this clarification than the more broad strokes of the term troublemakers. While she does like to engage in the lives of her students as much as she can, it is unrealistic for her to know every one of them and thus able to personally point out any that might qualify for what Maxwell were getting at."Hmmmmmm, not many I can think of. There are the LuBelle triplets, of course, but they are just pranksters more than anything. My best advice is to be on the lookout", the headmaster comments. She listens on as he explains his own thoughts about the values and benefits of students engaging in more practical skills and interests, nodding along as she agrees with what is being said."Yes, indeed. I still remember the first few months here. I was practically lost and confused, especially with no one around to try and help me guide how your world works and such. As for other parties....well, we are still relatively new and there has mostly been focused on making our own facility, education and such work first and foremost. However, I would be happy to meet with anyone interested in cooperating and the like", she replies back in a much more professional manner while sipping her own hot tea.

The manticore is still contemplating what the earlier caresses from Nilaa might have meant and if they were intended to be sexual of nature, but as it has not been reproduced or followed up on by the wolf girl, she puts it aside for now. Instead, she relishes the lovely moment with Nilaa and seeing and feeling her lean into the nuzzling. If she could, she would pet the petite fluffy cutie all day. She soon sees the wolf girl begin to lick the pictures presented in the menu in her hands. She is about to burst out in laughter, but manages to keep herself from doing so. Instead, she gives off a mild and less weirded out snicker."Ohhh, no silly you! This is just a menu. It shows you what you can order. In a moment we will be asked what we want. Let me handle it!", the manticore student says in a reassuring voice towards Nilaa. Soon enough the bar maid comes by and takes their collective order, which is a nice steak dinner for both and a large lager beer as well.
