Making things fair on a surface level, but not in reality seems most monster-ish in my mind. Your thoughts? Like I said, I doubt monsters care much about fair and might cheat if they can get away with it

It's just RP and anyone unable to act decently as a player will get a warning. Otherwise it's the honour system...ironic since we talk monsters xD The winner decides a (fair) punishment

But also...whoever said monsters are fair? If you get yourself into a duel and you have no means to win...tough shit Buuub i Also.... it's not cheating if no one finds out.

Each participant could be given a temporary power. Each fight lasting X number of posts.

Have an official judge for it Maybe 3 characters for judges.

Many times welcome to our many new and lovely members. It pleases me to no end to witness the fast and massive growth and interest this place has gotten. I suggest a student council consisting of two representatives from each year.

Perhaps a local shop owner or employee at a bar. Hopefully this provides even more possibilities

It looks like I need to clear this up further. Hybrids needs to 1) make sense with how short time monsters have been here and 2) needs to have some monstrous characteristics to their looks to reflect part heritage.

Quick note on tentacle beasts: must be able to speak, move and write somehow. I think for convenience sake, everyone is better off playing a humanoid. Beyond staff and student, it is also possible to make a citizen of Sunveil, the large city surrounding the academy.
