Lyncus was listening to the thoughts of the room from his hiding spot waiting for the perfect time to make his big entrance. Hearing the teacher recall a spell for light he lept out of the broom closet and rushed to the center of the room (with a sound much like a cat sprinting through the house at 3am) where the teacher was aiming her light. When the warm light bathes over him Lyncus says "Greetings nerds, your god of partying has arrived." Oh yeah I'm awesome. There were a couple toppled desks behind him.

Luther takes her offered hand in his raising it slighly and turning it. Leaning down he lightly kisses the back of her hand. Which he knows is a rarer custom that is going somewhat out of style, but he likes it and he knows the mayor does enjoy some old fashioned things. As is shown by the style of the room and her good opinion of Luther. He lets go of her hand and smiles at her compliments. He does always do his best to comport himself in a proper manner and he's glad someone recognizes and appreciates that. He frons slightly at mention of an "unfortunate matter". When she offers him a drink, presumably, his gaze shifts subtly to her neck. Even if she did say yes to that she'd be dazed after and we have business. "... no I'm quite alright, but thank you regardless." Sitting down in one of the large comfy chairs he asks, "So what precisely is this "unfortunate matter" as you said it?"

Luther smiles at the secretary just a slight one as he knows his full smile can be seen as threatening to some. He replies flatteringly "Thank you for the invitation young miss. I'll head right in." The receptionist is after all younger than him. The meeting today was at least partially business if it was just a personal call he would have treated the Mayor to dinner. Luther knocks on the door to the Mayor's office before entering and greeting her. "Ah, Mayor Müller you look as lovely as ever." He raises one hand to his chest as he continues. "Thank you for meeting with me, as always I deeply appreciate your willingness accommodate my nocturnal lifestyle. How has the day treated you?"

We should probably have a mall as a topic for students and such to gather in.

New scene: Start As the sun lazily dipped below the horizon Luther stepped forth walking in the lengthening shadow of the school reaching the sidewalk as darkness descended. He strode purposefully to the mayor's office, a dark form passing beneath the streetlights. If one were watching carefully they would notice that no reflection appeared in the windows of shops or puddles he passed by. When he finally reached city hall he entered, calmly walking up to the receptionist currently present. Luther cleared his throat and asked, "Is Mayor Müller free at the moment? I would very much like to speak with her."

The human boy Hiro handled the angry ghost rather well and Luther nodded in appreciation. He felt no need to interfere anymore, though he'd keep a watchful eye. A couple more minutes passed. Luther stands up again and makes an announcement, "Alright class feel free to leave when you wish; except for Mr.Levi @The Dark King I will need to speak with you. Don't forget to submit your applications for classes by the end of class tomorrow!"

Luther is happy to watch the class socialize. It of course begins with the awkwardness of youth when Amelia falls on the human Luther was going to help out, when they were able to extricate themselves and everything turned out fine. He sat back at his desk relaxing again. He looked up briefly when Misty began to swear, but she caught herself. He continued pretending not to pay attention to the chatter. Then he felt a cold darkness seep into the mood of the room. He looked up and saw the change in his ghostly pupil. @Icarian Dreams "Ms. Misty, the dead should be forgiving and charitable." He said with a dissaproving glare.

I am on my way to work cool to see this blowing up though! Looks like the first year class was a success if I do say so myself.

Luther once again picks Amelia @OlrukTheSmall she seems to be a responsible and attentive individual which Luther quite liked to see among the new students. "The student council helps share ideas and concerns with teachers and the headmasters. They often also help raise funds for school-wide activities, like dances, community projects, helping people in need, school reform, and so on." Then Julia @JennyDK asked her question Luther sighed at her apparent lack of focus or care. "Address me as Mr. Braun. To answer your question... Well, no ,you are to socialize among your peers here for at least 15 minutes before you are dismissed meet each other formally, discuss what classes you would like to take, and talk about who would be good for the student council."

Ramick sat stone still in the class holding the tree Edgar gave him as the drama unfolded around him. He kept his head slightly tilted to keep an eye on the freaky human boy. After all that kid had tried to see if he could get a syringe through Ramick's skin (thankfully not) and had been pestering him about getting x-rays for a while. He wasn't happy when Victor sent Zadria out. He whispered under his breath, "Now I'm stuck with Stein and the Lubelles without someone I can count on... crap" He looks about the room trying to find someone reliable and notices Yakshi. Another lust demon(?) maybe and she's stroking her tail an awful lot probably just a nervousness thing. Probably in league with the triplets. Best not to bother anyone about it. Ramick raises his hand when Victor mentions the human world and graduation "So um I'm something of an athlete, but I don't think humans will let me compete against them in sports professionally... so what sort of opportunities would be available to me?"

Luther clasps his hands and moves on to the next topic. "Alright well let's move on to extracurricular activities. I just went over what sports are available, they have the added benefit of covering your P.E. requirement though they tend to only be in the evening after the 1 p.m. lunch. There are a number of clubs here and if you can't find the club you want, you can make it! The rules for making a club are as follows: You must set it up with the headmaster or vice headmaster, each club must have a teacher as their contact person, and you must have a president as well as a regular member. We do offer various arts classes as well. Now you first years will need to have a class president, vice president, and secretary for the student government. You will have a couple days to submit yourself in the running should you so wish."

Ramick arrived to the class field in a varsity jacket and light athletic clothing slightly stretched by his muscular form, followed faint grinding of stone on stone that his joints make. He carried a heavy looking backpack with him. "Morning Mr. Terrigenarum." He was a little confused as to why the vice headmaster was leading the class but he didn't show it on his stony face. He groaned lightly seeing the LuBelle sisters the amount of times they made puns revolving around his rocklike nature and charging him up with lust. He suddenly wished he was wearing looser clothing he had hoped they would be absent but well he shrugs. He'll just have to deal with it he took a desk in the front. He snickered seeing Zadria with a flower it was uncharacteristic of her. He was used to her fiery behavior.

@OlrukTheSmall it is fine to have a couple threads going with the same character we can just say they are at different times. Try not to have more than 2 threads active with the same character though. @Multiversal you could do the second year orientation if you wished!

@DreamsnThings there definitely can be a club like that we can make a clubs tab. Your character can be the head of it if you wish.

Luther nods as Misty @Icarian Dreams asks her question. "Well there is a dance club, I do believe they give people free lessons even without joining the club, but there isn't a official dance class." Luther then selects Amelia @OlrukTheSmall. He smiles at her question. "Well dear, the Danse Macabre is a dance with the dead and Death himself to remind us all to enjoy our life to the fullest and no matter one's station in life, the Danse Macabre unites us all. There will be al sorts of dances, but it tends to be more informal." He sighs with happy memories of the past. He is pulled out of his brief reverie by Levi's @The Dark Kingquestion. "Yes, of course you can take the human society class I will pass out sheets for eveyone to sign up for there classes after my lecture." He pauses a bit taken aback by the simplicity of the second question the only hint of this that appears on his face is him blinking a couple times. "Well a sport is typically a physical competion around a set of specific rules. For example in a race people start running at the same time and see who can get to the finish line the fastest."

He points at the wolfish student Atmer allowing him to ask his question. "Well Mr. Atmer @Thatannoyinggod there are a number of sports baseball, soccer, football, track and field, wrestling, swimming, water polo, volleyball, tennis, and I think that's all of them. You will of course be able to take human society in your first year and I'm glad for you enthusiasm." Luther then looks around and is surprised to see Julia's @JennyDK hand up. Her question however, was as he expected. Not related to the lecture whatsoever. Luther replies disinterestedly. "The closest thing that the school does for that would be the fist dance of the year. The Danse Macabre, on Halloween night. I believe there is a student known for throwing parties though so one will likely happen before then."

Luther looks over the class and gestures at Yoko @JennyDK with one hand, allowing her to ask away. He listens carefully to her quiet, cautious voice. "Ms. Yoko, I am the teacher for the human society class. Human society is always available as a morning class. Extra evening courses are only available if enough students request it. I have a fairly low request requirement as I will be at the school until nightfall any way. Ah and to address Anne's @Arknightquestion from earlier; I head to my home at nightfall."

Luther narrowed his eyes at Levi's response in it's unexpectedness he let the interaction between the ghost and manticore go. "Mr. Levi I did not address you l, though I do so now. Speak with me after class." He sighed thankfully as Amelia asked her question. "Yes, excellent question. That brings me to the next topic. As far as classes go 4 semesters of mathematics, english, and a science (or magic) of your choice are required. As well as human society and human biology if you are a monster. And vice versa for humans. 2 semesters of History and P.E. or a sport are required as well. That covers 4 years if you aren't placed in an advanced course and don't take any extra evening classes. Sports are available in the evening as is at least human society if enough students request it. Any questions there?"

"Alright settle down all of you." Luther's hypnotic gaze meets @JennyDK Julia's briefly. He doesn't want too much power into it. He then focuses on Misty @Icarian Dreams intensely as he knows his gaze does not work on the incorporeal. He admonished the ghost girl with a calm voice. "Ms. Misty it would be best to wait for me to call on you, rather then shouting out over the class. Other teachers might have trouble seeing and hearing you, but I am very familiar with the denizens of the graveyard. Do not repeat that mistake in my class. So to answer your question. While you do not have a physical body it would still benefit you greatly to increase your abilities by moving around a mannequin for well, let us call it... phantasmal exercise. And if you would please, apologize to each other."

"Well Ms. Yoko @JennyDK, notebooks, loose, paper, pencils, pens, a pencil sharpener, and an eraser would all be good to have. Textbooks will be provided for you based on the classes you choose today. Aside from those you shouldn't need much. Any other questions?" Mr. von Braun notes the various students dispositions disappointed in the apparent laziness of some and proud of the studiousness of others. "And Ms. Amelia @OlrukTheSmall I will get to that after I go over the various classes and the requirements for graduation."

Luther greets the students as they enter with a nod. The tallest of the group stands at the board poking. "If you would please, pick a desk and sit down at it so I may begin with attendance and then my lesson." He chose his words carefully, as the first year he taught, he had used take a seat and those of a fey persuasion took his words literally. He had to wait a couple weeks for the chairs to be replaced. With the tall student at least out of the view of the board for the rest of his students Luther stands up and takes attendance. He frowned slightly as there were a lot more absent or late than should be on the first day. "Well it is a pleasure to meet you all I, Mr. von Braun, will be you teacher today." He gazes out over the class then lightly clasps his hands together "Let us begin th-" A couple late students arrive and Luther marks them as present. "NOW Let us begin. So a normal day here at Iron Claw Academy consists of 3 one and half hour classes a day with two fifteen minute breaks in between ending at 1 p.m. for lunch after which you can partake in a number of extracurricular activities or take an extra class should you so wish. I typically am here until nightfall so if you ever need any assistance I will usually be in this room. Any questions on that or shall I continue?"

I've got work I plan on replying to the first year class during lunch if we have any first years that haven't posted now os the perfect time to do so.

Ramick nods to both of their replies. "Hah probably a lot faster than me especially over short distances. Track would probably be best, though if you do like chasing things down baseball might not be bad." He continues stretching as he replies to Scarlet. His shirt lifting here and there to reveal a hint of his chisled abs. "Ah no need to be modest you've done a good bit already then. I decided to unpack before comimg out here. You probably shouldn't neglect it."
