  1. Alright, posted, and set up a thread for Team LRK as well! If that's the case, I guess it wouldn't hurt ^^ Should I approach him in the Offices too, or somewhere else?
  2. [[ New Scene: Team LRK @Godot @Thatannoyinggod ]] The doors to the classroom parted in an abrupt fashion, and a slimy mess of what one could presume was Lucy stepped into the room, nearly tripping on the layer of cables running through the floor. "Rubes, Keya?" she shouted, looking for her friends. "Uhh, sorry I'm late, I had to take care of something, and then the bus was late, and- I'll explain later!" she stopped to catch her breath, taking a second to gather herself. "Who is playing this goddamn elevator music?" Her eyes scanned the room, recognizing the equipment they had to transport here from the hall just this morning, because, as it turned out, connecting all equipment to the power grid in the assembly room blew the fuse and nearly gave Mr. Marlowe a heart attack when all power went down. Thankfully, things were brought back online rather quickly, so no actual harm was done, but they were forced to relocate nevertheless. On the upside, this meant they had just a bit more privacy - something that Lucy already had plans to take advantage of.
  3. "Of course," she assured at his mention of not taking too much of the hall's space. "I don't think we'll have any problems, but I'll keep that in mind!" she smiled. Her fingers shifted around the key in her hand, feeling out its edges. It looked... ancient. How many doors would it open, she wondered? The rather intense stare that he focused on her felt rather out of place, until she realized that the headmaster was in fact looking rather through her than at her. She looked at him with anticipation as he raised his gaze and answered her. She stopped herself from sighing out loud as she heard the decision, and gave just a single strong nod, her enthusiasm taken down by just a notch. Now he's setting conditions. Party-pooper. What would it hurt to set up a radio? "Understood, sir," she affirmed. "Well, thank you, Mr. Edgar, that's all I wanted to know. If you'll excuse me, sir?" she asked, getting ready to leave.
  4. Alright, Imma catch a shower and will get back to write some replies (or at least attempt to lol). @Thatannoyinggod I think the Lucy x Edgar scene can end with one exchange of posts, right? Since I didn't have the time I won't have Misty approaching him. :c
  5. *Peaks from under a rock he's been lurking under* So... many... replies to write :d @Thatannoyinggod Yeah, definitely - I just need to catch up for all that I've missed in the past couple of days. Sorry for the delay, was dealing with finals, and, to be frank, a general lack of motivation too. I'll do my best to get back up to speed.
  6. I've still got quite a bit on my head (yay having to retake exams ;_;) , so I won't be dropping in just yet, but I'll try to write something later in the week (after I finish up setting these scenes up too...)
  7. You're not one of the cool kids, sorry
  8. I may consider it after I'm done with my exams - this isn't really the time for me to create new characters. Although I already have plenty that don't really see much action, so I'm reluctant to creating more either way.
  9. "Thank you, thatt will be perfect!" Lucy agreed with a wide smile, eagerly reaching out for the key. An entire room full of audio equipment? Sounded like Lucy's kind of paradise. "I'll get some friends to help me carry the heavier stuff over to the- Right, where exactly should I set myself up?" she followed up, realizing she didn't really read into where the dance would even take place. She expected it to be held in the school's assembly hall, but she wanted to make sure - as she recalled that some events had been historically held in the Academy's arena. Better safe than having to needlessly carry tons of equipment back and forth. "Also, Mr. Edgar," she added after a second, as a rather fascinating idea rose in her mind at Edgar's mention of the inactive club. "Since nobody has taken interest in the A/V club, maybe, in the future, we could consider setting up a student radio station in its place?" Her voice rose slightly, taking an almost pleading tone, were it not for the audible notes of enthusiasm in her speech. "I mean, if we literally have a room full of audio equipment, why let it waste? We could be giving the students a voice!" she exclaimed in agitation.
  10. Lucy nodded a few times as the headmaster's words dispelled any worries she might have had. "Of course, Mr. Edgar. I'm sure they'll find the celebrations up to their standards!" she smirked, undaunted by the idea of a slightly larger audience. A few additional blokes attending the party wouldn't make a difference, and, confident in her abilities, she didn't really worry about any additional publicity. It wasn't like they were hosting the Queen of Monsters or anything, after all... "What about the equipment?" she queried, her voice calming down a bit, now that her thoughts have moved more towards the organizational side of things. "I have a rather basic set-up, so it would be helpful if the school could help out a bit - I don't need much, but it wouldn't hurt if to have a slightly better mixer..."
  11. Lucy answered the headmaster's apology with a smile. „Thank you, Mr. Edgar – It’s just good ol’ me,” she affirmed, her green-colored lips parting to reveal a set of – just as green – teeth. Her eyes flashed with enthusiasm at Edgar’s mention of not having found anyone to handle the music yet. „That’s just perfect! I was thinking, some decent EDM to get people moving, combined with a few of the top Monster-core hits of the past decade, and well, of course a few slower tracks for our couples out there too~!” she babbled excitedly, her mind already wandering around how the party could look – or rather – how would it sound. “I know a few good rock ballads that would set the mood just right- Wait, visitors, Mr. Edgar?“ She frowned slightly, only now realizing the rest of the headmaster’s words. Whomever could he mean, she wondered? From what she remembered there was no mention of guests on the poster Ruben had sent. She doubted it would change much in terms of music, but then why would he mention it? She raised her head, meeting his gaze in search of clarification.
  12. So slightly more formal, I take it
  13. Then I'd say that we should probably focus on a single theme as well - either that or we split the timeline of the event into sections, during which things like the Danse Macabre could happen - but that may simply take too long to carry out. So far the only theme I see is the American high-school dance idea of TAG's - I imagine something akin to a homecoming dance. Are we all in consensus with that, or does anybody have any other ideas?
  14. So - what sort of a theme do we want the dance to take? I feel like we should take some time to get everyone on the same page, since, y'know, me and TAG are discussing music for the event, Sol's working on some Danse Macabre stuff on the side, and from the looks of it everyone's pretty much working on their own, with their own ideas about how it's all going to look like. There's a great difference in whether we want it to be a formal event with Beethoven playing on the speakers, a casual rave party with disco music for people to get down to, or anything in between.
  15. Heyyo @Thatannoyinggod. Pretty tired, but still holding up :p
  16. „Good morning, Headmaster Terrigenarum-“ she responded politely to the man, despite nearly breaking her tongue at the complex surname. Nevertheless, she beamed widely at him, seemingly not bothered at all by the difficulty she had addressing him, nor the more commanding note that resounded in his voice. Seeing him take a moment to try and remember her, she quickly aided his memory: “Lucy Skye, second grade- I hope I’m not interrupting,” she swiftly got past the introductions, nodding slightly towards the headmaster, before finally stepping further into the room, eyeing the surrounding vegetation as she approached the newly-conjured seating. It wasn’t often that she’s seen the headmaster, aside from just passing him in the hallways every now and then (and maybe once or twice in detention, though Lucy counted that he wouldn’t remember these occurrences), but the floral motive had always attracted her attention. It was almost like a calling card of his, which – Lucy had to admit – was pretty damn cool. It got her to think that maybe she should think of something like that for herself. She smiled towards the headmaster in gratitude for the chair, and sat down, bringing her hands together in front of her chest as she quickly thought up on how to address what exactly she had in mind. “So, Sir,” she started, this time wisely choosing to skip his complicated last name. “I’ve noticed the posters about an upcoming dance hanging around the academy, and I thought-“ she parted her hands, helping to accentuate her words, and ever so slightly puffed her chest forward. “-that maybe I could offer to help! I have some background with music, audio design in general – I could lend a hand!”
  17. [[ New scene: Lucy Skye x Edgar Terrigenarum @Thatannoyinggod ]] Lucy adjusted the almost-snow-white collar of her shirt, pushed her glasses slightly further onto her petite nose, correcting the position of her upper-most eye to better fit behind the repositioned lenses, then shortened her hair to a more appropriate length (she wasn’t sure whether there were any regulations about that in the school’s statute, but she didn’t want to take chances). She spread the excessive mass across her entire body, in result growing just slightly larger in all possible dimensions. Finally, she leaned backwards a bit, giving a cocky smile to the reflection of her face in the well-polished handle to the vice-headmaster’s office, quite satisfied with the look she achieved. She straightened back up, at the last second stopping herself from too eagerly pressing onto the handle of the door as she suddenly remembered one more thing. A faint sight escaped her lips while she raised her other hand, putting some strength into two firm knocks on the door wing (knocking lightly more often than not resulted in a sloppy and rather stifled noise), only then turning the handle and confidently letting herself into the room.
  18. I don't see why couldn't we do that while occupying another thread - if need be, I can post snippets of the music changing in the main topic, alongside the posts for my participating characters. If you're thinking about the band idea, that was discussed and discarded IC. We've settled for Lucy being the DJ with Ruben and Keya helping her out.
  19. The two ideas that spring to my mind right now are to either create a new (perhaps temporary) thread for this (which I can understand the reluctance to do), or to repurpose one of the classes to hold the "audio equipment" in them (one of them could be beside the Assembly Hall).
  20. I'd suggest against it - if it perchance ends up in something lewd, we'd be spamming up the main topic with content that people participating may not exactly want to read at that moment. Not to mention, keeping things split across more threads will make it easier to keep them organized - lest we want to achieve disarray similar (and likely exceeding) that of the Assembly Hall in the opening day.
  21. @JennyDK Hey. btw, I'm not sure which thread should the Lucy-Keya-Ruben trio use. I wouldn't want to use the Assembly Hall, since I imagine they're gonna be pretty much doing their own thing in the backstage and I wouldn't want to interfere with people actually dancing, but I can't find a room that would really fit them. I was considering keeping it in EcchiTexts, but I feel that would take away the attention from the club, and I feel like that's not exactly what we want. Suggestions?
  22. I'm definitely plopping down Lucy, and Misty (although that latter one may prove problematic since Yoko asked out Hiro already). I'm also considering dropping Victor somewhere, but we'll see how it goes. I'd very much prefer starting week after next week, since I still don't really have time participate - and I haven't had the chance to set my characters up aside from Lucy yet.
  23. @Thatannoyinggod Great! I'm still a bit busy with college stuff, but I'll try to shoot you a message when I have a moment!
  24. Sure, I can get some music. What kind would we want for the dance? (although I guess that's between Lucy and Edgar to discuss)
  25. @Thatannoyinggod Sure! I'll be off ED for most of the day today anyways, so take your time ^^
