@Multiversal hahahaha zadria is going to have a rough year i think. And edgars not necessarily plant based, he's an earth elemental lol. And if she keeps up, he'll start teasing her and make sure to walk by her, just so that she is surrounded by flowers often

He took another bit of his food, trying to not slurp the pasta loudly and interrupt them. Nero's type of monster was an interesting topic among those who hadn't had much interaction with them. Even he had found the dullahan an oddity until he got to know the teacher. "Well, if you find yourself loosing focus much this year, feel free to come to me anytime you need. I'm sure that I could help you find some ways to help you get your mind in the right place. As for me, well along with assisting the headmistress with punishments and helping students and teachers as they need, I also am responsible for repairs to the campus and buildings. I am an earth elemental bound to this land, so it gives me insight on damages caused and the ability to fix them faster than getting workers with tools out here to fix them." He was pleased with Karnis's curiosity. He loved seeing his children expand their knowledge of the world around him, including himself.

As the knight greeted the student, Edgar beamed. Not just the student, but Nero was talking too! Edgar took a long sip of his wine, trying to hide his grin. "Oh, Nero. Would you like a glass?" He made another goblet from the same spot of floor that he made his, propositioning some wine to the dullahan. "Well congratulations to you for moving onto the next year, Ms. Montrax. I can understand it being hard to make it through some of our classes with the amount of students at times. And sometimes we all eat together, but I have had to do some work this morning that made me feel a little drained. I thought a wonderful meal would help give me the strength to continue the day." He looked over the shy girl, thinking of ways he might be able to help her work through her worries and shyness.

When Victor @Icarian Dreams came in, he felt relieved...and a little sad that he had to leave now. He lowered his voice as well, trying to save face for Victor. "No problem, Victor. Let me know if you every need any help or examples in your classes. Also, phones are a wonderful thing, containing alarms." He chuckled at his playful jab at the werewolf, hoping he wouldn't take it seriously. He turned to the class and gave a deep bow. "And this is where I will leave you all to your capable professor. Have a great class you all. My door is always open if any of you need any assistance." He stepped out of the classroom, giving the students a playful smile before leaving their sights. With his step, he sank into the floor, going off to somewhere else.

When the girl @JennyDK came over and greeted him, he gave a bright smile to her. "Hello. Take a seat. Don't worry about Mr. Nero here, he may look intimidating, but he's quite pleasant to be around. I'm Vice Headmaster Edgar Terrigenarum. It is a pleasure to meet you, miss...?" He opened the question so that he could give her the chance to open up and give them her name. He had learned that with the shy ones, it sometimes took a little coaxing to get them to share.

Edgar felt a slight chill as the dullahan @Dozle The Crusader came closer to speak. "Tired, but good. We already had a bit of an incident out in the courtyard with one of the first years. Heh, had me rebuilding a large portion of the main building." He took a sip of his wine, feeling the liquid chilled to perfection. "I always love having you around for a drink, Nero. The wine always tastes more exquisite in your presence."

Edgar has just started to eat when he saw @JennyDK walk into the room, looking around. She looked familiar, but he couldn't quite place his finger on who she was. A student for sure by the uniform she wore. A Gazer from the looks of it. Well, I can't leave myself to enjoy my food while a child seems scared. "Miss, would you like to join me? I promise that I don't bite." He called out to the girl, hoping his offering wouldn't scare her off. As he waited to see if she would take him up on his offer, he gave a polite wave to @Dozle The Crusader, happy to see the PE teacher out and about. He was worrying for Nero, noticing that he hadn't spent much time greeting any of the new students during the opening ceremony.

Atmer had heard about the Arena being somewhere that people didn't often hang around in...perfect for him to practice his new trick without teasing jeers from more talented students. He looked to one of the walls across the way from him, aiming there. Then he envisioned the shadows around him a doorways, taking a step back and falling into his own shadow. It still was an unnerving feeling to him, causing him to lose focus and miss his aim. He fell out of a shadow into the audience bleachers, tumbling down. When he sat up and rubbed at his head, he noticed the green girl fiddling around with one of the speakers. Goblin from the smell of her. "Hey! Um...what are you doing?" He decided not to wear his muzzle today, not expecting to see anyone here.

Edgar took a mental checklist of all of the third year students that he knew were attending this year. "Seems we are just missing one... but knowing her, she's assisting the librarian already. I'm sure one of her fine classmates will be willing to share their notes to her." He leaned off the desk and stood, his spreading wide. "Well, shall we get started? I would like to officially welcome all of you fine students back to Ironclaw Academy. I hope your breaks were pleasant and relaxing. As third years, this year will be where you start taking classes to further your knowledge and understanding needed for whatever path you wish to follow when you graduate."

"Mr. Stein @Arknight, it is a pleasure to see you too. Still trying to explain all magic with science?" He gave the boy an amused smirk. "I am just here to substitute in for your homeroom teacher. And go ahead and pick any many as you want." He looked over the students with a pleased grin. It was good to have people back at the academy. The place felt...cold and dead with nobody around.

"As long as you're not caught, I don't have to know anything." He gave a playful smirk to @Multiversal before motioning her to the desks. "Good morning Ms. Yakshi @OlrukTheSmall. It wasn't too bad. I just missed all of my wonderful children. I hope your break was enjoyable." He gave her a wink back, handing her a lilac petalled flower thats tips were a blush pink. "Hopefully this year will be an exciting year for everyone." He walked back to the large desk, leaning back against it. The patches of grass and flowers were becoming more vibrant and blooming. When Ramick @Solomon walked into the room, Edgar gave a bright smile. He always enjoyed his interactions with the gargoyle. He felt a kinship with the stone bodied boy, his own true form stone and mountainous. "Ramick my boy! It is good to see you. Have you already been out to the athletics field for a morning workout?" He took a quick knee, forming a small tree from the stone floor and handing it to the boy. "So you don't crush it this time, haha."

@Multiversalhahaha I only did it for you because I had done it with the triplets as well. Edgars in a giving mood and flowers are in abundance around him

@Icarian Dreams if you want to take on the third year orientation, I have no problem with that. i was just trying to get it started so people could have extra to do ^^ i kinda have the vice headmaster around to help out as needed (as referenced in his bio)
