History:
Reed was born in a science lab due to his family lineage.  From what Reed has been told, a sick scientist in the underworld had an experiment going on. The goal was to create a new species in the world as spies to gain information. It had taken the doctor thirty-five years in his lifetime to accomplish his goal. A new species was born, a cat humanoid. A human that had cat features such as ears and tail. The doctor was estimated to have used over five thousand humans and nine hundred cats. The doctor was only able to accomplish this due to his sponsors, however, not in the way his creation was intended to. He never cared about their use, though it did sting his pride, which is why he continued his experiment. The doctor had a new goal, which was to create a cat humanoid that had enhanced abilities. That day would never come for him to see. The doctor was near his deathbed, so he had chosen his daughter Lilly to continue his experiments. 
Lilly was a prodigy among her peers and had the same mind as her father. The things her father could never accomplish were done by her. It took Lilly five years to see her product of cat humanoids transform into their cat form. It was not perfect in her eyes. She needed to have more other than to transform. Before the birth of Reed, Lilly had three different families that surpassed her dream. These families were called Royal bloodlines as each house had a different gift. One family has incredible speed, hearing, and communication with normal cats. Then, when Lilly turned thirty-five years old,  She created a supreme bloodline that had all three abilities from the Royal bloodline. Reed's family was the supreme bloodline. Lily released her new product in the underground world. She had turned her father's ultimate dream come true. The buyers would start using the cat humanoids as bodyguards and spies. As fate would have it, everyone around the world was disgusted by how the experiments were done. It took thirty-five to find Lilly's lab location, her time was up. 
Reed was twenty years old when FBI agents stormed the laboratory. By the time the agents came into Lilly's office, She was dead. Or rather murdered by Reed, even when his ears perked to the sound of the door opening. He kept stabbing Lilly's body repeatedly until he was tackled down. 
Reed Belford was loved by Lilly since the moment of his birth. She knew Reed would be different, so she had trained him harshly as he would be her bodyguard in the laboratory. The cat humanoid knew everything and hated her every second of his life. When Reed wouldn't take care of her, he would gain information from scientists or other test subjects that a raid would be coming soon. He had planned everything until that day came. Even convincing Lilly to burn all her documents to avoid other scientists picking up her work and for no one to continue the work. Lilly had thought she knew everything about Reed. How she was so devastating wrong about Reed. 
Reed during his time as her bodyguard came to gain new lows and highs. Reed was indeed the person he was. However,  the amount of trauma he had seen made Reed gain a new persona. A cold-hearted person, one that lacks any empathy and emotion for anyone. He finds pleasure in torturing anyone and anything near him. Reed knew how to break out of that persona. It is by how much love he receives, he only needs love to be the person he knows he truly is.  His love and affection gauge can never be low unless he turns cold once again. He can gain love from his family or by sleeping with an individual. 
After the lab was destroyed, some could not be saved due to lack of life and how much they were suffering. Reed was held in captivity until he was redeemed stable enough to be out in society. Reed Belford was released into society at the age of twenty-eight. Every cat humanoid was separated into groups. These groups would go to different countries and live normal lives. There was a secret among the cat humanoids, never speaking of the bloodlines to avoid being captured.
