Short Bio: Pelintira was born was long ago, in an elven empire.  An empire of great size, strength.  A marvel in the eyes of travelers.  But it was intensely stale, growth and development near forgotten, everyone given a place at birth, a caste system of sorts.  There was material comfort, but for a woman like Pelintira, it was suffocating.  She was desperate to escape.  But none were allowed to leave.  

She discreetly looked for alternatives, in temples, libraries.  As an imperial scholar, she had access to such things.  But there were no easy answers.  It took years of study, no answers from the gods, when she tried to get answers from the temples.  Some ancient books spoke another realm, but the information was vague.  Then the Judge came.

The strange creature offered her a place.  A new world, where she could be free, accomplish much.  She dove in, was quick to learn the power of the realm.  Magic.  For one with a strong enough will and spirit, almost anything was possible.  And she did not restrain herself.  She explored deep, into what many might consider forbidden arts.  Exploring the more twisted portions of the realm.  Meeting unusual creatures.  Learning so much.  She conquered one of the sub realms, was recognized as a noble.  Ruler of a territory that she could shape with a thought.

She had become known as a great mage.  A school has been established in her realm.  In her palace, where one can study freely.  But the magic available is fairly standard, the school mostly famous for the skill of those who graduate.  Though it is rumored darker things can be learned, by a select few, personally taught by her.  In her mind of course, there is nothing wrong with such magic, it simply the art of a truly free mind.  The true potential one could achieve.
