[BEGIN INTERVIEW RECORDING]
Officer Kess: Thank you for joining me today, Luna. Could you please share a bit about yourself and your background?
Luna: Of course! I’m Luna Gibson Freeman, and I grew up in the beautiful state of Maine. Nature’s been a huge part of my life—whether it's hiking, swimming, or just being outside, it’s where I find peace. Before diving into the world of influencing, I worked in childcare. But these days, I focus on fitness, cosplay, D&D, and of course, creating content that inspires others.
Officer Kess: It’s clear that nature and physical activity are important to you. How do you balance your passion for fitness with your creative outlets like cosplay and D&D?
Luna: It’s definitely a balance! Fitness and the outdoors give me a way to recharge, both mentally and physically. Then, cosplay and D&D let me get creative and immerse myself in different worlds. They’re complementary, actually. After a good hike or workout, I can focus on creating a new character design or putting together an awesome costume. It’s all about maintaining harmony between the two.
Officer Kess: You’ve built quite the online presence as an influencer. What motivates you to continue sharing your journey and connecting with your audience?
Luna: Honestly, it’s the people. I love hearing from others who feel inspired by what I do. If I can encourage someone to embrace their creativity or start a fitness routine, that’s huge for me. I’ve always been authentic online, which I think resonates with people. It’s about showing the real side of things—whether it’s hard work or a little bit of fun.
Officer Kess: That authenticity seems to be a major part of your persona. What’s one aspect of your life or work that you’re most passionate about sharing with others?
Luna: I’m really passionate about sharing self-care. Whether it’s through fitness routines or just taking quiet time for yourself, it’s so important. I also love to showcase how cosplay isn’t just about the costumes—it’s a form of self-expression and storytelling. I want others to feel like they can dive into those worlds too, no matter their experience level.
Officer Kess: You’ve mentioned you’re selective with the people you keep close. How do you choose those with whom you form meaningful connections?
Luna: It’s all about authenticity and loyalty. I’m a firm believer in quality over quantity, especially in friendships. If someone is genuine and respectful, that’s a huge green flag for me. I appreciate those who can engage in meaningful conversations and support each other’s goals, especially if they understand the value of self-discipline and creativity.
Officer Kess: You mentioned that you have perfectionist tendencies. How do you manage that, especially with the pressures of maintaining an online presence?
Luna: It’s a work in progress, honestly. I try to remind myself that nothing has to be perfect. My audience loves me for who I am, flaws and all. But it’s tough sometimes, especially when you want everything to be just right. I’m learning to embrace imperfection and focus on what really matters—staying true to myself and my community.
Officer Kess: And how do you recharge when things feel overwhelming?
Luna: Nature, always. I’ll go for a long hike, swim in a lake, or just sit outside and let the world pass by. It helps me reset and gain perspective. Also, spending time with my close friends and my online community—those interactions bring me comfort and remind me why I do what I do.
Officer Kess: You’ve mentioned a love for water, especially in the context of your turn-ons. Could you elaborate on your connection to water, and why it’s so important to you?
Luna: Water is... rejuvenating. It’s life, it’s fluid, and it’s calming. Whether it's the feeling of being submerged or just being near it, water has this incredible way of grounding me. The "wet look" is something I find visually appealing because it represents the flow and freedom I feel when I'm immersed in it—it's almost like a natural state of being for me.
Officer Kess: I see. And with all your passions and responsibilities, what are your biggest goals moving forward?
Luna: I want to keep building my brand in a way that feels true to who I am. I’d love to expand more into storytelling, maybe create my own D&D campaigns or cosplay series. Above all, I want to stay grounded and connected to nature while continuing to inspire others to be both creative and disciplined in their own lives.
Officer Kess: It sounds like you’ve got some exciting plans ahead! Is there anything else you’d like to share with those who look up to you?
Luna: Just that it’s okay to be yourself—completely and unapologetically. Whether you’re into fitness, cosplay, or just doing your thing, own it. I think we all have unique stories to tell, and the world’s better when we share them with authenticity and passion.
Officer Kess: Well said, Luna. Thank you so much for your time today. It’s been a pleasure hearing your thoughts.
