Luna is a normal girl - she insists on it, even when unprompted. Perfectly normal, no secrets, the increase in wolf howling outside of town and reports of wolf activity has nothing to do with her. Definitely not.
She was once dared by her peers to stay camped out in the woods outside of town when she was young, a choice that would forever change Luna. She was alone when the werewolf came sniffing at her tent that night. She managed to escape with just a series of scratches on her arms and legs. Then came the changes - and not just the nightly wolfy ones. Now Luna remains entreated into herself, keeping everyone at an arm's length, terrified of what might happen if anyone found out her secret, including her own family.
