  Kai is one of the few left of her kind. The majority were hunted for sport, caged as a curiosity or simply disappeared with no word. Skeptics and pirates alike come in search for her to either gawk at or try to capture her. Many who venture too close to the mythical creature are never heard from again. Kai is distrustful of humankind but she occasionally finds herself trading her victims' loot in the local market. She may be a siren but she enjoys shiny things she cannot find in her waters. If one is so bold to offer her a gift of jewels or a shiny trinket for consideration, they are paid handsomely or meet their demise. Shall she accept, earned trust of a siren is a lifelong loyalty not to be undermined.
