Caleb was odd even amongst other snorlaxes. Where most male Snorlax were tall and rotund... Caleb was not... the runt of his family, Caleb was noticeably shorter than his siblings and rather than get a big guy... the fat went... somewhere else.
Now dont get it twisted. He's still able to tap into extraordinary strength like any Snorlax worth their salt. Infact he used a single strike to defeat a Machamp early so he could cuddle with his trainer.
