Gabriel wasn't born sociopathic, though he became that way as a result of his own madness. Depending on the timeline in which a story takes place between Jezebel and another character, Father Gabriel may have already succumbed to beasthood and, therefore, slain by the very church he once governed.
𝘈𝘥𝘥𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘕𝘰𝘵𝘦:  He was 6'6" of dread for poor Jezzy, and the Church keeps his skull on a pedestal.
