Again Emi nodded. It was unfortunate for Rin. Of course she wanted to help her friend out, and knew that she might enjoy singing, but it was simply too much for her. Then again there was also the guilt behind that to consider. She could bear with it for her friend's sake, right? I don't know. Having friends does come with its difficulties, huh? And now she was going to do a tarot card reading! She didn't really know what that all entailed but hey it was definitely something new to try! Would it work? Probably not for this, but she couldn't discount the possibility either.

Rin continued to quietly listen. Hopefully Elie could convince her. This would end here if that failed. She was not going to do that by herself. If Emi would not do it, she would not either. She simply would not listen to any advice or encouragement to do it solo. Of course she did not want to force or over pressure Emi to do it either. The goal here was to convince her to do it willingly. A tarot card reading was an unexpected solution. But if it worked, it would be worth it.

Elie looked at Emi before letting her hands go. "It is completely up to you if you want a reading or not. Also if you don't wish to become professional that's alright to. Just know I'll always be here for you and Rin." She said going back to sit down in her seat picking up her tarot card deck.

Sorry to voice my opinion here but I agree that seeing where the true story goes on first would be better. At least for the sake of character development. I did some sort of what if stuff myself (Well, it was not exactly what if but more like crossovers with stories from certain games) and it really was best done when we're comfortable with our characters. It's NOT a bad idea but I think it's best if it's not rushed. When we know our characters well, we know better how they'd react in some alternate universe.

I'll probably wait on any alternate stuff for now since I'd rather see where the true story goes first.

They were only singing one song. Only on stage for a few minutes. Even if it felt longer. Rin let go of Emi for the final lines of the song, but stood at her side. Then the song ended and the cheering began. Alexandrine of course was not that expressive. But clapped along with the audience, smiling. A few louder cheers came from the audience. A random voice or two saying how much they loved the song, or the singers. Rin waved at the crowd. Winked at a few who appeared extra enthusiastic, her other arm wrapped around Emi’s shoulder. They had to wait a moment to step down.

Elie sat down as she looked at Mitsuko and then the Diamond Sorcereress. She has a few questions but nothing like the questions Mitsuko must have had. Elie's questions would probably be seen as simple or stupid questions. She looked at the Diamond Sorcereress and sighed. "I believe Lady Mitsuko has more questions then I do. So I'll give her the honor."

Time to rest. She didn't mind that idea. A break would help her to regather her courage. Also she could finally get herself some food and something to drink!
