Like a torrent of flames burning his cornea it was just reflex for his to slammed the eye shut and roll away from the window. It was the pain that caused him to open both eyes now! It felt comforting to her, so she was almost a little disappointed when she felt his hand leave as she moved to address the Aelda, but it would be rude of her not to at least offer to check up on the creature.
