I had to teach my self to just enjoy the fantasy, when working with a RP partner you have 50% input so it's not going to always work out the way you dreamed it up in your head. I had to learn that when working with others what ever comes out comes out, but as far as my imagination goes, that's for me, it's my fantasy and I just enjoy it and let it play out in my head, and that keeps me from worrying about whether or not I get to work my ideas into an RP...That's my point of view I hope it helps.
