She shakes her head lightly, the unwavering and still, lifeless pupils in her skull showing more and better as she does this."I have talked mostly with someone named Hiro @Godot really", she says pretty straightforward and openly, hoping it was okay to mention his name. She did know Misty, but had no intention of mentioning her. She has no idea what a wendigo, but decides to leave it at that and maybe look it up later and not barrage him with all sorts of questions."Where are you headed at Jay?", she asks curiously.1 point

When she showed the book, Drake allowed his eyes to focus on it. He blinked, tilting his head when he saw the subject matter. He looked down at his own book, surprised that she seemed interested in the same things as he did. He looked back up at her, before glancing away as he said, “S-sorry. I was reading and you startled me.” He nervously tapped his fingers against his own book as he said, “I’m Drake Woodsworth. I’m a first year student as well…” He bit his lip a little before he then admitted, “I’m pretty interested in human history. I take it you are as well?” He looked back down at his book again, “It’s pretty interesting, but I was wond1 point

Julia sighs to herself, even though she should be very used to this reaction by now, but luckily it is far from the weirdest or most shocked she has experienced before, so she can mostly forgive it and leave it at that."Please...relax. I am just a fellow student here like yourself. Just browsing you say....hmmm....I honestly find that hard to believe. I mean...you are in a HUGE library after all...surely you must be looking for something more specific", she says and takes a look at his current book, one about Egypt and that period in time. Her large tail sways around lazily, once in a while opening slightly as well. She shows him one of the b1 point

The library is simply gargantuan and a good place for books about both the monstrous and human world alike. Sadly, it is still too early for many to be about the in between due to how short a time monsters have been in this realm and of course that it is far from every monster who has wandered beyond the portal and some even just commute between them in whatever pattern fits them. Julia is one of those fascinated by the world beyond her own and, despite rough appearances and all, does like to dive into books - although usually very specific kinds and not a general love of books. Lots of fantasy novels or about human culture and history.1 point

Victor nodded in accordance to the headmistress' words, glad that his assesments did not fall on deaf ears. If Veronica said that she'd take care of something, he knew he could trust her to do just that. He didn't even bother trying to decipher the meaning behind her expression. If she weren't his superior, maybe he'd invite her for a round of poker sometimes. That grin of hers would be impossible to outbluff. He let his thoughts come back from that slight digression, quickly going through the lesson in his mind. Did anything more of note happen? Ah, right. "Yakshi, one of the demon students, wants to start an.. umm... sewing club." He said,1 point

"Its no problem, I am here if you need me. Good luck." Vladimir waves at J until he leaves before pushing the door to the lounge open. He steps inside courteously and notices the headmistress in a conversation, he smiles at her before taking a seat.1 point

I thought it was success that is 10% inspiration... Honestly, half my ideas aren't worth commitment. But I don't have the time or energy to put into most of the rest. If I did, I could probably finish outlining more original worlds than mot successful franchises. But I know I'll never be successful as an author, or an artist, despite how much art also pours out of me. Sadly, it's in too many different mediums for me to focus on any one and be successful as an artist, either. No one wants a multi-disciplined artist. They want a painter, or an illustrator, or a guitarist, or a singer, or a sculptor, or a dancer... not a generalist w1 point

After Alez spoke up and said her piece, the immediate result was a brief moment of silence. Then...it came. "Your world? Little one, I have no interest or idea of where you are from. I also do not know why you would think I would have any interest in attacking your world, wherever that is. All I am here for is for the head of that person next to you. She has betrayed her god, her world and all those she fought alongside. And for what? Cassandra, you know as well as I do that our god is everything and our lives are their property. To oppose that is to go against the dispensation of the universe itself. What foolishness has caused you to1 point

Due to the link, Alez could feel the painful anger from Cassandra's heart. This feeling wasn't going to help her. She needed to focus on remaining at peace... Otherwise, she'd be stuck in her physical form where she was completely useless. But how could she keep her emotions in balance in a time like this? In order to bring balance to her emotions, she'd need love to counteract her anger and joy to counteract her sorrow. Both of those just felt impossible to obtain in the moment. Still... Alez looked back and forth between Mei Yi and Cassandra. She honestly had no idea what was going on between these two. There was clearly some bad blood1 point

*Alas, if only Alez knew how similar their cases were...which was something Cassandra could not allow herself to reveal to anyone. Though to be honest, not even she knew the complete truth. What this Cassandra knew was that she was the 'Eternal Hero' selected by Utopia to kill the Source of All Evil, who was the actual being whom created the world. She had learnt that this situation had come about due to a certain occurrence in 'mortal time' where Utopia was finally able to re-actualise in the world. As it turned out, before the 'world' began, there was a conflict between Utopia and its progeny. Though she was still unclear to why the confli1 point

Alez had convinced herself that she was doing fine, but due to her inability to maintain her ethereal form, that was evidently untrue. Internally, she was struggling with a wave of guilt and panic. She was just a child lost in the streets far from home. Despite trying to maintain a strong stance against Mei Yi, she was only putting up the front of a fool, speaking of knowledge of which she had none. It wasn't her place to argue and justify her goddess' views, just to have faith in them and serve... Hearing Cassandra's soft voice, Alez was taken by surprise, but locking eyes with her only reaffirmed their connection. She could feel a sen1 point

*Cassandra could see that this whole situation was bothering Alez a lot, given that the girl had indeed lost 'her wings' and what Alez called her 'ethereal form'. Of course, to Cassandra herself, she looked 'normal' despite the wings and the aura. Given that 'normal' is at best a relative term in Cassandra's experience, it should not come as a suprise. Cassandra could see the girl physically shrink down and look like a lost child. This was a pitiful sight to see and Cassandra did wonder who in their right mind would allow for someone so inexperienced to take the field? Unless this was an unauthorized excursion out of their comfort zone or tha1 point

Wow~, man... That was quite a sentimental read-through, with many ups and downs. It's fascinating to know just how much the past can have on the outcome of the present. To think EcchiDreams started out over a decade ago, and has evolved through several administrations to where it is today, still standing very strong; I'd say that is a pretty incredible attainment. Your introduction and evolution in regards to Roleplaying was also quite a fascinating read, just, knowing that it all goes so far back... and was kind of made possible with meeting a collective of like-minded individuals communicating through early chat clients like so. This is a good topic; and I'll be happy to answer this in great detail. Because it has a bit of a back story, and it's why EcchiDreams exists... So a bit of EcchiDreams Historical Reading too. It's also got love and heartache, and love again. I think it's actually a good story of my past too, despite the shit going on around me at home, when I was younger. TL;DR I have been roleplaying non-seriously since I was eleven years old. My first serious roleplay was started in 2006 when I was sixteen. Then when I met @Neptune in 2008 (When I was 18) and it got more serious to the point of where it is today; an empire that spans galaxies. Th1 point
