Not formal really. So to answer @Thatannoyinggod better: Something like a nice shirt or simple dresss would do just fine.

Well, I have a question that might help everyone have an idea of what kind of dance it is. @JennyDK, since all of this was your idea, what was the dress code you were thinking about for the dance? Casual clothes, slightly nicer casual clothes, school uniforms, or tuxedo/suits and dresses? The kind of thing @Icarian Dreams/I were referring to is more of a casual to nicer casual dressing where as a prom style will be tux/suit and dresses. As for music, either setting could work well for a healthy mixture of EDM/dance music, possibly popular pop, and some slow songs for couples to dance to. My primary idea was a prom-like thing.

Then I'd say that we should probably focus on a single theme as well - either that or we split the timeline of the event into sections, during which things like the Danse Macabre could happen - but that may simply take too long to carry out. So far the only theme I see is the American high-school dance idea of TAG's - I imagine something akin to a homecoming dance. Are we all in consensus with that, or does anybody have any other ideas?

I don't think we need more than 3 locations. It seem superfluous. We don't have that many active members at the moment either.

I was thinking their would be multiple sections where people could go to the area they liked the vibe of most with whichever character (or characters) they wished to use.

So - what sort of a theme do we want the dance to take? I feel like we should take some time to get everyone on the same page, since, y'know, me and TAG are discussing music for the event, Sol's working on some Danse Macabre stuff on the side, and from the looks of it everyone's pretty much working on their own, with their own ideas about how it's all going to look like. There's a great difference in whether we want it to be a formal event with Beethoven playing on the speakers, a casual rave party with disco music for people to get down to, or anything in between.
