Leaderboard

Hope this isn't an unwanted suggestion. What if the house itself, artifacts in/around the house, or even the forest surrounding the home possesses magic of some sorts. Depending on the desire or etc... you can change the event/effect on your character (/self). For example: the house, a mirror (or similar artifact), or the forest; can spawn an entire camp of goblins that can harass the occupants. Sorry if this is no help. Or a burden to your idea. I think it's great overall btw.
