Anahel looked over at the Prince and said, “the battle took a lot out of me… I used a lot in the demonstration of my power… healing that girl also used up a lot of my power… no, I do not k ow of anyway to recharge my power faster, I’ve never used up so much of my power before… resting like this… I suppose is as much as I can do…”1 point

That was something to keep in mind. "How close were to using up your power today?" This was a small town. Depending on how close she was, they might have to plan more carefully on larger cities. In Vanoria especially they would have to be extra careful. The war might not be as quick or easy as he hoped. He relied on Anahel, to have any chance. If he recklessly used her power they would just be overwhelmed. "Do you know of anyways to extend your power, or recharge. Mages can sometimes use potions to regain their power, but they are not easy to get, and we would not be able to carry many at a time. The other possibility would be to fi1 point

Anahel continued to sit there looking at the area. She listened to Maxim’s questions and gave a nod. “Yes… my power are not unlimited… like your human mages, when I use too much… I need to recharge myself…”1 point

It was true. Anahel had been incredibly helpful. Everything Maxim could have hoped for in answer to his prayers. The only thing where she had not succeeded yet was the slave girl. That was going to take a lot more work. But he had hope Anahel would succeed with her too. If she did, it would be a key to helping all the women taken and enslaved. Though Anahel could not hope to fix all of them herself. Hopefully if they did find a way, it was something others could learn and repeat the process. Even then it would probably take years. But it was worth it, after Vanoria was dealt with, he would work as hard as he needed to there. "D1 point

Anahel looked at Maxim and shook her head, “no need… seeing all of you happy and free is enough payment for me..” she told him and sat down onto the grass, pulling her feet to her chest saying, “just knowing that I’m making a difference is enough… I’ve affected so many people already…”1 point

"You have given me and my people a hope we have not had since this war began. I have to rely on you to do most of the fighting. Even once my kingdom is restored, my army my be more for show than anything. Your power will be more needed than ever as we push into Vanoria. That all being the case, I don't know how I can do. But I want to do what I can to thank you for it." The war was entirely just. There was no fear he was abusing Anahel's power. Still, after seeing that girl, Maxim wanted no illusions. No idea he was just using her, like a weapon, or slave, even if she had offered him a sort of loyalty comparable to what that girl tal1 point

Anahel looked around at the field she was brought to. She enjoyed the scenery of it as well as the quiet and the breeze blowing past her body. She looked at Maxim giving him a small smile and nodded, “thank you… this is perfect…”1 point

Maxim led Anahel out of the temple. Though, as an angel, who did not need to eat, drink, or sleep, he was not sure the best way to let her relax. He thought some fresh air would be best. He led her to one of the currently barren farm fields on the outer edges of town. “I’m not sure what someone like you finds most relaxing, but maybe some air in a quieter place would be best.”1 point

Anahel nodded and watched as the woman left. As she said, the Angel let out a sigh and looked up as Maxim entered. As he spoke, she answered, “I think I would like to stop for today…” she needed to think about what she had just learned as well as prepare herself for the first day of her private lesson with the broken mind girl.1 point

“I was lucky. I have seen what the others have gone through. So many still need help. You are the only hope we have. If you had not come, the only answer was the gods supported Vanoria, or just did not care. You have given me some hope again too.” With that she turned and left. A moment later Maxim came back. “I have seen some of your results. I’m happy the body at least is much easier for you to heal than the mind. Do you want to see more today, or was that enough?” That was the main reason he came in, to check how much longer Anahel wanted to go today.1 point

Anahel looked at the woman and gave a small nod. She could feel like something was changing about her body but didn’t know what. “Thank you… that is… reassuring to hear… all I wanted to do was to help and support you people… and I’m glad you are grateful…”1 point

The woman saw that same skepticism in Anahel’s eyes. She had to make something clear before any hope they had was lost. “I don’t know which god you serve, or why he would not mention the others. But do not doubt what you did was wrong. You saw what Vanoria did to us. To our people, especially our women. You saved this town, but the rest of our kingdom needs that help. Prince Maxim cannot win without you. I have gratitude in your god and will offer him my gratitude just for that. For doing what doing what none of the others would.” Anahel and her god apparently needed a to have a talk of sorts. But there was no doubt Anahel was doin1 point

Anahel nodded along, “interesting…” she said and wondered over to the window and looked through it and up at the sky, “I will have to ask my god about this when I return… I had no idea of this…” she said wondered why that was so. Was it her for who made her think that he was the only one and only? Was it right to accept this like she was doing?1 point

This left the woman confused. While she did not believe the angel was lying, she wondered whether what she said was true or if she was just unaware of others. But maybe that was the answer to all of this. Vanoria worshipped the same gods more or less. But what if it was allowed to reach this point for Anahel to be sent as the one to reveal the truth, if it was the truth. ”We always have. There is a god for every aspect of life. At least there is supposed to be. Other kingdoms even have their own gods.” She felt like she was explaining something every child knew, but this angel believed in something completely different. Anahel blinked and seemed to look confused by what the woman was saying and questioning. “More than one god…? I’ve never heard of this before… I only serve one god… my god… I was unaware that you humans believe in more than one god…” Anahel explained to the woman.1 point

God, not gods. The woman was the first to really dwell on that distinction. Perhaps not the first to notice it, but the first to really think about it. “…Is that what this is about?” She mumbled to herself. Was there some big revelation here? Was she some sort of prophet in addition to an angel? Or was it a misunderstanding? “We worship many gods. Are you claiming there is only one? Or maybe you just serve one specific one?” Was that it? Was she just a vassal or agent of one of many gods? Was she trying to claim there was only one? Or maybe she just considered one to be above the others.1 point

Anahel simply smiled and said, “yes, I am proof. God does exist and he sent me to help and free you all. As for why he didn’t send me sooner… that I cannot answer because I don’t know the answer… as for why you were attacked… I do not know that either… but I am here now, to help.”1 point

The woman looked at Anahel with some uncertainty. Not quite ready to introduce herself, “I would say it is hard to believe that any gods out there exist, or that it is hard to think they care about us if they do. I guess you are here to try to prove otherwise. Thought it would have been nice if you came sooner.” She was still wrestling with skepticism, when she saw the beams of light, she wondered at first if it was just an exceptionally powerful mage. Though that seemed beyond even the power of mages. Now though, she was looking upon what appeared to be an actual angel. “Was this supposed to be part of some great plan?” She would ha1 point

Anahel looked at the woman, her face implying a smile. She could sense the hesitation inside of her. “Hello. I am Anahel. Can you tell me your name please? What can I help you with?”1 point

The woman eventually rose to her feet. “I will never forget this.” She quickly walked out the room, catching the priest by surprise as he heard her story. She at least would be a voice of some hope for the people and another reason of gratitude for the angel that saved them from the enemy armies. That she had both great destructive and healing power. The next woman was one who needed to see that, the basic problem was still the same. A woman who simply found it hard to believe, either on gods, or to live. She stepped looked upon the angel, with some surprise, but still uncertainty. After the battle and watching what the Vanorians1 point

Anahel watched as the woman collapsed and began to cry tears of joy. She smiled to herself. She knew she had done a good thing, the right thing. She knew that her God would approve of this use of her power. “You are very welcome dear. You deserve this.”1 point

The girl felt a strange feeling as the angel kissed her forehead. A sort of warmth throughout her body, but most intense in the wounded/broken areas. Was it actually what it seemed to be? Her leg seemed to feel like the other one, significantly recovered. When the blindfold came off and she dared open her eyes again. Seeing that angelic figure, seeing at all, flooded her eyes with tears. She dropped to floor crying out of happiness and gratitude. She had experienced a genuine miracle. "Thank you! Thank you so much!" She was one whose faith in the divine had been completely restored, intensified even. A life changing event, it was ha1 point

Anahel looked at the woman and nodded, “you were extremely brave and for that, you will be the same again.” Anahel then leaned forward and kissed the girl on the forehead. As she did this, a golden aura seemed to move along the girl’s body, healing her wounds. It didn’t take long at all, the aura soon vanishing. Anahel then reached up removed the girl’s blindfold and spoke, “open your eyes.”1 point

How many years ago was it? The only woman I ever loved. Perhaps the only one I ever would. It was so hard to meet other people, even harder to meet women. For a list of reasons that only got harder as I get older. You called me one morning. You knew how much I hate the phone. Verbal interaction in general. You told me so casually. You had been at a party along with one of your friends. That one you had me meet once. Told me he was jealous of me and you had been sort of friends with benefits. Now you casually tell me you slept with him there. Now you are pregnant with his kid. You plan to give it up for adoption. You say it like1 point

The girl was silent for a second. She was completely blind. Probably for life. It was uncertain if her leg would heal enough to walk properly again. Then there was the scars. Still, she felt an aura of sorts, believed she really was in an angel’s presence. “It did not stop them for long. I will never be the same again.” Granted she did still have a little pride in her fight. And it was probably better than being a slave. But it was hard to believe it was worth the cost.1 point

Hmm? His body tensed under her and made her pause ever so slightly. His body was burning up, it was arousing to feel him this warm. His fingers spread her juicy wet lips and a breeze could be felt between her legs. Her clit erect just from being touched by him. Hana was getting some residuals from his magic, that connection that hooked them together like white on rice. Her perked up nipples pressing and rubbing against his pelvis as she somehow at this angle kept her breasts squeezed nice and tight around his twitching member. the one between her lips was eager to impale and slip ever deeper in her mouth. However Hana was working slowly, this1 point
