  1. It took some convincing from Isabella for me to join and write that. I was quite surprised to win, the votes being so evenly split certainly helped.

  2. Also fuck, for entirely too long while making entirely too much noise.

  3. I mean, you all know I'm going to say fuck, you just have no idea how badly I actually want to in this case...

  4. Biweekly was my thought, too. I think if I start them biweekly, then have 2 weeks of voting, we'll have a bit of overlap anyway but people will have time to come up with something.

  5. I have YouTube Premium because I was fed up with getting ads on my daughter's tablet so I like listening to stuff on YouTube. Especially the lofi stuff. As I write this I am listening to this one:

  6. I have dyslexia and have found that the Grammarly extension has become my BEST friend when it comes to writing. Like, for reals. I have the free version on my Chrome browser and it has helped me out a ton. The free version needs a bit of common sense to tell it what to do but it is still pretty awesome. I can't remember how much it costs to get the full version (which corrects things in more detail and even teaches you context and such. So your own personal English tutor!) but if I could afford it I would pay for it. Anyway - if you want help with writing, don't just triple-check but also use this extension!

  7. Time to get a new challenge together, and possibly make this a regular, weekly challenge instead of a "whenever Izzy feels like making one" challenge. So here's what I propose: A new challenge every week with 2 weeks to complete it and 2 weeks for voting. Every challenge will last for 4 weeks, and there will always be two ongoing challenges and two challenges to be read and voted on. This way everyone can hopefully find something to do, be it writing to a challenge or reading/voting. But if I'm going to do that... I need a lot of writing prompts/challenges/etc. What does anyone think? Weekly? Biweekly?

  8. Not so much a specific recommendation, but when I'm writing for a certain theme or setting, I'll search for playlists people have already created to fit the feel I'm going for. I've found fantastic list for free on SoundCloud, and more on Spotify, Amazon Music, and YouTube, although the ads on those "paid services I don't pay for" really ruin the experience for me. Tabletop Audio has some awesome "ambience + music" sets that I use when I actually run a game, and sometimes when I'm writing.
