Skye would feel the girl getting more defensive and would begin to pull harder on the rope and would shake her head to the side as well, trying yo be a bit more aggressive to get the rope free of the other’s mouth.

That was what the girl hoped for. Neither of the two would give up too quickly and were a fairly even match. This game would last a little while. She put her weight into it, trying to hold her ground. Go a little more defensive and make Skye try a little harder. She guessed neither of them had a lot of experience doing this, none with someone like themselves. She could not guess who was going to win but she intended to try.

Skye blinked as she felt the strength that the girl pulled with. Her pull was a lot weaker compared to the dogs she was used to playing this game with. She liked it, it made her relax a little however, she could see that the girl was playing to win, which meant she would have to step up her game. Skye would growl and pull harder on the rope as they continued at it, not wanting to lose either.

Once Skye took the other end, the girl began to pull eagerly. The two had a much closer strength. A closer impression to what it would be like for two dogs. There was more comfort in the pull compared to each other and they could find out who was better, when neither was disadvantaged. The girl growled playfully as she tried to get it out of Skye’s mouth. Shaking her head from side to side.

Skye would blink as the girl stopped sniffing at her and she watched her leave. She would then see her return with the rope toy in her mouth, holding it up to her. Skye had only ever played with a toy like this with the other dogs but, she had to admit she was curious how it would be with another human dog as well. She smiled and took an end into her mouth and once they were ready, she would begin to pull.

After the sniffing, the girl considered what to do next. She was mostly just curious about another girl that went through what she had? How similar were they? Even if they never met again, she wanted to spend some time with the girl. But neither of them considered themselves human anymore. They would not be making friends the normal way. She wondered, did Skye share that curiosity? She grabbed the rope bone toy, among the pile of toys left for them to share, one end in her mouth, she walked up to Skye, seeing if she would take the other end.
