To say life was handed to you on a silver platter was an understatement, but rather, on a platter of diamond would be more appropriate. You are the daughter of a prominently wealthy family, who made their fortune off of the discovery of a diamond deposit, and the founding of a mine to facilitate the mining of said diamonds. You have riches to span several lifespans...so why not put it to use? Your family has taken to hiring a servant for the place, to keep it all tidy and make sure things are done...however, accidentally...you discover the girl has taken up another use...as a punching bag for the family.

You happen to find her bruised as she works one day within your room, and pity the girl due to her mistreatment. And as you comfort her, with her lamenting about what happened to her...an important choice is left with you. This girl can't escape this job, as the money and place of living was far beyond anything she knew...but the hell she went through other times left her emotionally drained. Perhaps you could bring that void of her life back, by giving her the one thing she wants more than money or a place to be. Just someone to love.
