Imps are an adventurer's best friends! (2+ roleplayers plot)

I think that I probably misspoke when I said traditional, what I meant by it’s probably more serious. I don’t remember why I said traditional, but I didn’t mean anything by it really. Like I said I have GMed for a long time and it would be nice to play a different way for a change. This story is just different than what I normally play and that’s very appealing to me. I think that it would be a bit out of my comfort zone and as a writer that is something we all should do from time to time. As for playing a whole party, I wouldn’t mind it if it’s necessary. But I am just as happy playing a single character, I was just saying that I am comfortable with it and am willing to do so.

Serious? As in less light hearted and drama free stuff? I still assume we will have fun action scenes and exciting adventures of course. Glad to hear you find it appealing and I think it could be great fun.
Would you want you or me to act as the GM for our encounters or what do you think would be otherwise fitting?

I think that I might have put my foot in my mouth on this one and am admitting defeat on trying to explain this stupid thing in my head that they keep telling me is a brain haha. Yes action and adventure sounds amazing. I think it is fitting if you act as out GM but I will definitely help do my part when I can. 
 

I was originally picturing a group of three, gruff and grizzled. Possibly a Human, half orc, and a dwarf, the last members of a thieves guild that has been run out of town and are working tirelessly to get back on top. Pulling jobs to try to stow away a nest egg to retire on, but they aren’t always the brightest. When they stumble upon the tome and release the imps they think that they have found exactly what they need, but the sexy little imps have there own ways of doing things and adventure ensues. 

I can do that, yes. I don't mind as long as we know who does what and such. I am sure we can find a good balance over time.

Why half orc and not just a full orc? Not sure why we would go with a "discount orc"
Sounds like a decent entry point into things, as long as we only do victim less crimes and are not like evil and such.

Any 2-3 imps you prefer of the bunch?

Oh of course, I am not worried about stepping on any toes, I am pretty chill when it comes to sharing the responsibilities and I usually find my place very quickly lol.

I can do full orc, I am probably just used to world where full orca are usually attacked on sight and even halfys are discriminated against. But I can see no reason why that wouldn’t work. I didn’t really picture them as the evil kind, a bit dumb and selfish byte definitely not cruel. The only people they hurt are bad ones and the coin that they steal can be from those who deserve to have it stolen.

Choosing might be the hardest part so far, they are all freaking adorable and awesome. Honestly I think that Na’meh, Diana, and Amy would be the three I would pick, I wish that I could have them all. But I would never want to put that much of a burden on someone else.

The "Robin Hood" approach definitely works fine for me, as well as more "legitimate" targets and jobs. Good to hear you don't adhere to the thought that monster characters are inheritently bad and such. Could even be fun if the imps became the brains of the group

Writing more than 3 named characters among other named characters can indeed make posts way more complex and bigger than what can be fun or even needed. I very much go for the K.I.S.S. principle whereever possible

Amy is quite a rare choice ^^ personally I love the ones with horns!

Like I said I am pretty chill and I know my place, monsters don’t have to be evil, maybe they just misunderstood. The imps would probably eventually become the thinkers of the group, I really want my boys to be pretty dumb. Maybe there leader thinks he’s the brains but with a little nudging could be easily manipulated by sexy imp batting her eyelashes as she uses big words.

I completely understand why you only want three, I have been there and have seen what happens when you bite off more than you can chew. Keeping it simple is much easier and sustainable in the long run.

I think that it’s funny that Amy is rare, she was the first one that I chose. I really wanted to pick ones that were probably not as useful to a group of wanna be thugs. I think that it makes for a better story and a lot more fun.

Indeed so. It would be a shame for it ot get overly complex and thus be something that feels more like a chore and hassle than a fun and creative hobby ^^

Because I am not into playing publicly and I really only write through ecchitext. I am sorry that I missed this originally and possibly got your hopes up.
