Looking for a kind master

Hello again, and let's get right to it. After playing Dorei to no Seikatsu, otherwise known as Headpat Simulator, and watching Rising of the Shield Hero, I decided I wanna give a cute loli to someone. Do you have to know the game or anime for this? Nah.

The idea of this RP is that your character has helped out someone in the past. A merchant to be precise. Your character hasn't heard from them in years, and out of nowhere, the merchant appears at their door. After the usual pleasantries, the merchant waves over to someone outside of your character's view, and a few moments later, a little girl with scars on her face, and clothes that barely qualified as more than rags trots up. Her eyes are open, but it's as if the lights in her head were out. The merchant then explains that her master died, and he managed to obtain all of his assets. This included his slave. But he has no way of taking care of her, or even raise her if he wanted. And selling a slave is more complex than selling an apple. Giving her away for free however is ridiculously simple.

An alternative idea is that your character looks for an assistant for their line of work, but people who applied so far always had some kind of flaw to them. Some were dishonest, greedy, or straight out unqualified. So after overhearing a conversation referring to a special little shop, your character decides that maybe a slave would be right. Granted he would have to take care of them to some degree, but slaves are pretty much bound to be loyal. When getting to the shop, the owner greets him, and after some back and forth about what kind of slave he wants, the owner takes him to the cages. The very qualified slaves are unfortunately rather pricy. But then a smaller cage comes into your character's view, in which a small girl quietly sits, staring at nothing in particular.

So there you have it. But now the question: Why would I want a kind master? It's because this girl already had a really bad one. So if you can get behind the idea of "Here, have a broken girl, please fix her" by all means, let's get to writing. And since I don't wanna let you jump in completely blind, here the girl in question.

One more thing. If you are interested in that route, combat is an optional extra that can be included into the RP. And if your character takes care of her, she will protect them in return.
