In this world, there is a secondary gender known as "dynamics." These symptoms appear around teen - or young adult.
50% of people are Normal.
40% are either Dom or Sub.
10% are Switch.
Dom - They have the instinctive need to dominate a Sub. They have a strong desire to control, protect, and care for them. They have a special aura called a "glare", which is unique to them.
Sub - They have the instinctive need dominated by a Dom. They want to be controlled, punished, pampered, praised, etc.
Switch - They are a VERY rare dynamic that possesses both characteristics of Dom or Sub. They can change their dynamic themselves or be forced to switch depending on their surroundings. Some Doms fear Switches because they do not like the idea of being under someone else's control.
Normal - They are the majority of the population and are not affected by the secondary gender dynamic.
Glare - Doms' unique and intimidating look that they can use at will. Subs will want to fully submit to the Dom both physically and mentally to this. Doms can also use it on other Doms to keep them in check.
Collar - If a Dom wishes to establish an official relationship with a Sub, they will offer a choker, collar, or necklace. (Or some other item that the couple can agree on.) This will create a sense of control over another Dom because it means the Sub they want to be exclusive with cannot be commanded by others. It will also give a Sub a sense of belonging and emotional stability as they will always have someone to protect and look after them. There is less of a chance of another Dom causing a Sub Drop on the Sub.
Claim - When a Dom gifts a collar to a Sub. It is up to the Sub if they accept the collar or not. A Dom cannot force a Sub to accept the gift of a collar.
Aftercare - During punishment or after a play session, it is important for a Dom to praise or pet their Sub. (See commands for an example of how this works.)
Subspace - The Sub consciously submits to the Dom, and they have full control. The main symptom of Subspace is the feeling of pure euphoria and feeling "like they are floating," and safe.
Sub drop - When a Sub isn't given aftercare during punishment play or a strong glare is used on them without consent, they will become mentally unstable and will suffer fatigue and numbness. In the case of a strong glare being used on the Sub without consent, the Sub will have a panic attack and experience the sensation of being unsafe and like they will be harmed. (Some have reported the sensation of feeling like they are suffocating.)
Safeword - Before play, it is important for a Dom and Sub to discuss limits and safewords. This is to help the Sub feel safe, and so the Dom has a signal of how far they can push their Sub.
Commands -
These are very basic and taught to both Dom and Sub when they discover they have a dynamic gender:
Crawl - Get on their hands and knees.
Stay - Stay in whatever position they are in and do not move unless the partner gives them praise and allows them.
Kneel - Sit down on the floor or wherever they are instructed to. Sit also works.
Go - Moves to wherever they are told to.
Come - Move over to where the person is.
Stand up - Get up from their position and stand.
Stop - Stop whatever they are doing and are restained from doing anything.
Roll - Roll onto their back.
Strip - Remove clothes.
Present - Partner shows their genitals.
switch - A command that is only valid for a Switch, which causes Subs and Doms to switch their dynamics.
A Dom can come up with their own commands if they feel confident enough to do so.
Commands can also be combined: "Come here and Sit on my lap."
After each command has been performed to satisfy the Dom, they must praise the Sub, or they'll start having a sub drop. Example:
Dom: "Come here."
Sub: Walks over to the Dom.
Dom: Head pats or kisses the forehead of the Sub, "Good boy/girl"
Sub: They will feel pleasure when they are praised and will wait for another command from their Dom or ask for one.
Suppressants - If a Dom or Sub can't find a partner or just don't have one for whatever reason, they can take suppressants to reduce their needs to have their dynamic satisfied. This does not mean they won't be susceptible to Glare or Sub-drop effects.
