Arove Valley may not be as vast or varied as other territories, but it’s not monotonous by any means. There’s no concrete answer for how long it’s been cut off from the rest of the continent, but whatever the timeframe is, it was quite clearly enough to make a difference. Having remained untouched by civilization for so long, the area and its inhabitants have been able to develop freely. This has changed to some extent over the past century, but even now, there are plenty of spots that haven’t felt any sort of impact. It will likely stay that way, too; the people of Tinno Village have always done their best not to disrupt the land that gave them a second chance.
With that being said, of course, they’ve still integrated themselves into this small region, and that’s still led to them becoming quite familiar with the local flora and fauna. Plenty of species inevitably came to play some sort of role in their society and culture, and countless others just happen to be living their lives in the same vicinity. Not everything they’ve found has necessarily been pleasant, but even the most dangerous beasts have fascinated the village for generations. There’s no doubt they’ll continue to do so, either.

This page serves as a compendium—not just for the flora and fauna of Arove Valley, but for anything that’s come to be because of them. Recipes, materials, customs, folklore, festivals—you name it! With each new entry, club members are given several avenues for a potential scene. With each idea, the world as a whole feels just a little more alive.
A few things to keep in mind before making a submission:
Submissions should be placed in their respective threads. If something you’ve come up with doesn’t have a suitable thread, please say so in Club-Based Suggestions instead of starting the thread on your own.
While there isn’t necessarily a minimum length requirement, please make sure your post conveys everything you believe it needs to before sharing it. If you’re able to do that in just three sentences or so, then go ahead! More is always appreciated, though.
While creativity is encouraged, please keep the intended tone and scale of the story in mind. Chances are there won’t be many scenes where a beast is rampaging through the village, but if such things do happen? A dragon would probably be frowned upon.
