The darkness of space was rent asunder and a twenty kilometer starship, looking like an entire hive had somehow launched itself into space, tore through the purple bruise of the warp rift and reentered real space. The Nightborne Conqueror, a midnight blue Battle Barge with bronze edgings, dropped it's Gellar field and ignited its thick layers of void shields as it powered in system towards the vulnerable planets. The soap bubble of it's voids were strong enough to resist the Nightborne Conqueror flying through the corona of a star without weakening and even if they did fail the Battle Barge's armored hull could resist shells the size of mainline battle tanks hurled agains…
