My Niche: I like Original story ideas in a compact world scheme, that typically are in a Dystopia, Fantasy, or Supernatural setting. Ideally, I like to focus on just our characters in a metaphorical bubble that isn’t interrupted by other NPC’s/Side characters. (One or two is fine.) I prefer my roleplays to be intense, heated, and somewhat darkly themed. I like cooking up a premise with some core themes, and concepts of what the characters are to each other, and then dropping into the roleplay when things are taking off narratively.

I don’t typically do character sheets, or faceclaims, (Unless I already have something on hand) as I’ve wasted a lot of my time and effort on them just for a roleplay to not continue. But if a roleplay goes well, or gets more involved over time, then I may put in that effort if the mood strikes.

Usually I pick a name, general vibe/temperment, vague backstory to develop along the way, and describe my character in roleplay for my partner, and go from there.

Prompt Ideas to get you intrigued:

-Dragon/Unicorn - In a world where magic is fading, and magical creatures are dying out, A Unicorn (Me) and a Dragon (You) meet near a forest cave. The Dragon has just returned to find their mate murdered, and their clutch destroyed. The Unicorn has travelled a long time searching for other Unicorns, and has found none. The unlikely pair join up to search for more of their kind, and keep one another company as they travel. However, the more they rely on their transformation magic to take on their Humanoid forms, the harder it is to change back. Will they be able to find more of their kind in time to go back into the wilds? Or will the two find solace in one another, be it in their true forms constantly on the run, or posing as humans to survive the changing times…

 

- Vampire/Human - (Roles Undecided) You weren’t invited here, but you snuck in anyway with the invitation you swiped from an unminded purse earlier that afternoon. You heard tales of exotic parties hosted here whispered under hushed breaths that made men and women alike desperate to receive an invitation. Then one day, you heard something new: “He actually sniffed me, and complimented my perfume while slipping the invitation into my hand.” “Oh, how audacious!” A moment’s pause, and then, “No, you don’t understand… I wasn’t wearing any perfume.”

So, now, here you are, waltzing into the foyer of the most coveted party in the Quarter. Nervous with excitement because you don’t know what to expect. But then again, if you did, would it really be a party worth whispering about on hushed, drooling tongues?

I'm Nonbinary, 33 yo. I'm a sporadic writer with a penchant to forget about roleplays for nearly a month or more at a time if I'm not reminded. But I'm also the type of ADHD that can hyper focus and lock in for quite awhile too. There is no in-between. I'm so sorry about that! But I typically get the RP itch every 3 months or so at most, with a penchant to write more during winter. ^_^;
