Questionable/Absent Consent and writing characters

I was as wondering if anyone had any advice or experience to offer with writing characters who are the victims of reluctant or non-consensual sex.  On the one hand it is an element I like to explore in my writing, but on the other I neither particularly enjoy writing primary characters who should reasonably be incredibly traumatized nor want to dismiss the psychological effects of this kind of sex.  I often find myself stuck when considering how I can carry on a long-term plot where my main character has been through an experience like this without overly derailing the plot through psychological aftermath.

From a writer’s point of you you’ll have to think about your audience and what kind of story you’re telling. An example would be Jessica Jones her storyline was ment to be more realistic and showed things she would do to cope. Then you can look to hentai where a girl get raped and the next day she’s looking for more
