short bio : lindir was born in the elven kingdom of mithriel. his father was a general to the queen and lindir grew up in the lap of luxury. from a young age, he was a diligent scholar and was able to master the arts of writing and music when he was merely a child. his father was a strict man and didn't approve of lindir's inclination towards the arts, instead of following in his footsteps and becoming an elven warrior. there were alot of arguments, during which lindir's mother stepped in and tried to calm the storm that was her husband. she was a kind woman with weak health and lindir inherited that, which prevented him from being able to push himself to his limits and become a swordsman. nevertheless, he's a fierce archer, like many elves. when his father requested that lindir take on an official position in the queen's court, lindir declined. around that time, his mother passed away due to her health and the arguments between lindir and his father became worse. desperate, lindir requested permission from the queen to leave mithriel and travel the world, in search of ancient elven arts and magic. permission was granted and lindir left the kingdom. his father told him to never come back and that he would no longer be welcome by his former family. lindir responded that he wasn't coming back.

for the past centuries, he has been roaming the lands. making money via helping the common folk. his knowledge on almost anything is his greatest power. and his kind nature makes people trust him. nevertheless, lindir is a fairly stoic man, who doesn't take kindly to nonsenes. he's described as stone - faced and cold, only showing emotion when he's at his limit. he's intelligent and has strategic knowledge, but refuses to raise his hand on anyone, claiming to be a pacifist. lindir is also vegetarian, like other elves. the smell of meat makes him sick to his stomach and his weak health doesn't help his case. he's seen human and elven physicians, but they could either not identify the source of his illness, or they told him he was doomed to die soon. but lindir has already lived for over a thousand years by now and despite his weak health, he considers himself quite powerful. if not in battle, definitely in wit.

he has no contact with his father, but he occasionally corresponds with her majesty via messenger doves. he also has healing abilities that have been passed down to him by his late grandmother.
