My character is against it but is too heavily vested in their marriage to let go, so he deals privately with the emotional aspect of her cheating. Betrayal, anger, confusion, humiliation, true angst, and along with this he also deals with unexplained arousal. Arousal that he tries unsuccessfully to hide and is used against him.
