feels kinda pal worldie but alright

i think i get it. a farming simulation the only added mechanic seems to be breeding monsters and fighting with those monsters occasionally... does seem like a more tame concept compared to .... wait cloud meadow... oh you mean that cloud meadow... is that game playable yet, like this whole time i assumed it's been underdevelopment and what not it's definately would down to trying something like that

The Main Bar and Dance Floor
inkylore replied to Minorikawa's topic in Garden of Hedonism Night Club's The Garden
his head tilts to the side, the way petite women do when they're trying to be cute, but this wasn't that. taking a glance at displays of alchahol he couldn't really decide or speculate exactly what would be good. no doubt mimcry of human behavior could only get a sincho so far, but when it came down to it, they could hardly enjoy the things people enjoyed in the exact way that they did no less. " what would you.... recommend" he asked in that slow way, that pattern familiar with newer models still trying to adjust in their speech patterns -

whats a cockshock? -
decided im gonna renovate the club again into a dungeon raider type of group... since the ttrpg club is kinda, well this... the concept being pretty straight forward. people would make their own dungeon's with their own traps, puzzles, monsters, rewards, rules and so on and then other people would challenge to try and complete them with either the dungeon maker or someone not raiding the dungeon acting as a gm for it... players would start with standard stuff and then kind of build their way up over the course of completing dungeons and such

i'd like to pull myself out of the game, i already started a diffrent game with some diffrent people and i don't want to enivtable overwhelm myself by taking on more games then i can handle long term.
-
oh ok that sounds pretty solid, can't wait to see what narrative we end up painting
-
it was helpful all the same... i only hope i won't have to put that level of effort into what my characters goal and calling in life will be...my characters have always been more of a in the moment type thing... rather then knowing exactly what they want the end goal to be

ive heard that word a couple of times now, is it important for me to know what that is, im not sure the cortex link you sent explained anything about something called the pathway
-
game moderators, not a fan of the terminology feels like they're trying to hard to be original either your a excellent multitasker or the game for you isn't as prep focus as you made it sound
-
yea i noticed that, i think it makes it less restraining that way...i think i more or less got the gist of it. i just hope the "explore the rules" section will be enough and i won't need to buy the actual book. i do like how more stripped and simpler it is, also how it didn't do the whole drama kid thing where the introduction goes on for pages like it was some school seminar instead of just getting to the point of how to actually play the game as they usually do with rhetorical questions and such. so i definitly think i would like to play this
-
a maybe for me... its quite a new system for me so i may have to read up on it... since i wasn't able to get anyone for the game i tried to run i'd like to get back into playing dnd again like i used to. even though i was relatively new to it even back then...
-
can't get much crazier then the excel nerds who figured out how to actually draw anime waifu's in the same application that said i guess this means if i can't find people to play with i can just play a solo game of vice and violence or whatever
-
all that aside this gm emulator sounds like it can be applied to any rpg game regardless if its designed as a solo game or not
-
uh the oracle? whats the oracle?
-
tried to do a game of orphans of hoomanity.... its not really getting the traction i thought it would get... might opt for funning a plain dnd 5e session.... or i might try a solo one... if i can find one i can pirate from

The Main Bar and Dance Floor
inkylore replied to Minorikawa's topic in Garden of Hedonism Night Club's The Garden
straight from the lounge, down the hall way and finally just past the dance floor up to the main bar. another model showed up. more subtle and not as flashy as the other model's the Sincho used. this one even looked a bit ... human. they looked like normal clientele. perhaps the only thing the stood out about them was the lack of any notable cybernetics. pink threaded hair, a pair of glasses and eyes of a yellow hue. the fit managed to somehow blend the line between business causal and the skimpiness you would expect from a night club like this. a open silk thread suit, with a shirt cut way above the waist. leaving nearly the entire torso exposed. a ribbon bow at the collar and pants tied loosely by a thin looking blue belt. and of course a noting bulge. not a ball shaped one. it was more like a elongated sausage that pointed up before curving to the left at the last moment before reaching the belt line of his pants. given the neon lighting it was heads or tails as to if this made him stand out more or less... he knocked on the table of the bar, hoping to get the attention of a bar-keep even among all this noise. do robots drink? who could say for certain. with the advancement of technology it could be for necessity or it could simple be for formality. -
OOC Chatterbox
inkylore replied to Minorikawa's topic in Garden of Hedonism Night Club's Characters and OOC
well i guess mine is the only character design to be in multiple places at once, so i guess it shouldn't matter too much... probably should be adding small images to my post so i don't get confused with which model im supposedly playing -

though a little better my concerns are more ooc... cuz while it sounds like you can get in if they let you in it also sounds like you can stay in if they don't your in their in the first place. and of course one their in i would assume they don't actually know what your doing in their ... i guess what im really saying is i feel its something that should be consented to ooc before going threw with it. if someone had this tech and had plans to use it maliciously and the only real pre-requsite was to gain thier trust in allowing them in i do feel that would be easy enough to clear in hiding any true motivations that might have had...in the first place i gotta read up i was typing that for like 3 missed replies -

that doesn't sound a bit invasive to you? like if it was just npc's sure. but i don't know how other players would feel about something like that being done to thier oc's -
Orphans of Hoomanity or O.O.H is a simple and relatively new TTRPG By rapscallion. with the genre being scifi. but not star-trek sci-fi so any dreams of traveling the stars is a no go. in this extremely simple 3 stat d6 dice game you are a "scrapper" a individual who is hired to look for things of value on a world that was originally considered a junk yard planet called Orul...all Hooman's have long left the planet and the space junk that hanges in its orbit makes it impossible to lunch into space or to initate and long range communication into the stars affectively being space locked. your choice in races are Androids or Demikin which is basically a lifeform highly suseptable to mutation by design. if the development of this game is anything like V&V the material will likely reference locations and people and technology at first without really explaining what they are until much later down the line to which im hoping we can glean what it is by just the name alone but i wouldn't keep said expectations too high... because of the lack of lore, playing this game actually makes it easier to improvise and such. i will GM up to 4 players. with the use of a check point system. basically whenever we get to certain checkpoints in the game players can check out allowing other players to check in.. it would be like if you decided to give your character a break and go home after an adventure allowing for someone else to join in. natrally i will update this thread respectfully when that happens. for dice rolls a set of up to 20 d6's will be rolled and then whenever the need to roll just pick one of the listed numbers from this dice pool. more dice will be rolled if the remaining number of dice is less then 4. this is mainly for the sake of fairness and convinance. fair because you could easily cheat, and convient because people might find it exhausting to roll thier own vurtal dice each time... that said if a number of people have another idea that they can agree on then i don't mind changing it to that as well. now then as for templates your welcome to arrange it as you like. though of course rather then explaining it all im just going to post the main pages assuming you don't have access to it already. approve it with an reaction or tell you how you need to fix it.
